Never trust what sales manager Loui Serhan promises. Very rude once the deal is done. General sales manager Said Abdelilah is no exception. Customer service after you have already bought your car doesn't mea rude once the deal is done. General sales manager Said Abdelilah is no exception. Customer service after you have already bought your car doesn't mean anything to them anymore. I will never go back to this dealership again for even service. They just want you to buy the car and will tell you anything you want to hear when you are buying but after that they wouldn't even hesitate to use the "F" word and ask you leave the dealership. I wonder whether they talk the same way with people of different colored skin or not. Either way, I will not ever trust this dealership specially as long as these two people are working there. Please think twice before going to this dealership. People who don't know how to respect people will do anything to get your business even if that means lying or just flat out denying what was promised. To this dealership honesty is not the best policy. Treat customer with absolutely no respect after they have already bought the car is their policy.. More
On Friday, May 17, 2013 my wife and I decided to purchase a car to replace the one that we had been using for 12 years. Based on family and friends' recommendations, we headed for the Passport Nissan dealer a car to replace the one that we had been using for 12 years. Based on family and friends' recommendations, we headed for the Passport Nissan dealership in Alexandria, VA. We met with Loui, Darren, Trevor, Diaz and Said. From the get go, we were blown away by their professionalism, courtesy, friendliness, knowledge and helpfulness. Not only did they help us choose an affordable car that would fit our budget, but they went the extra mile in helping us secure the financing as well as finding a great insurance rate for our new car. We ended up purchasing a 2014 Nissan Versa. They even went so far as to have one sent from another area dealership as they did not have one in the color that we wanted. Overall, our experience was a very positive one and their reputation definitely preceded them. We will definitely recommend this dealership and their team to our friends, family and colleagues who are considering buying a new car. More
I had my car in to Passport Nissan for service last week (April 18, 2013). I worked with service consultant Brian Yeager. The entire experience was excellent. My car was looked at first thing in the morni (April 18, 2013). I worked with service consultant Brian Yeager. The entire experience was excellent. My car was looked at first thing in the morning (after dropping it the night before) and Brian called me at my appointment time (7:30 am) to clarify one of the issues with the car that I had written down on the drop envelope. He also pointed out to me that my car was covered under an extended warranty (that I had forgotten I had), so one of the issues with the car was covered under that. I then received a follow-up call from Brian explaining what they found, what their recommendations were for the immediate issues, and also the list of things that I should do for overall auto performance. My bill was a good amount so I really appreciated the honesty of what they felt absolutely had to be done and what they recommended as preventative for overall good auto performance but not an absolute requirement. During that call I received a 7 page PDF file via email from Brian also detailing what they found, what they recommended be done (to include what failed, what is a caution, and what passed). This report also showed all the costs for each item. I was really impressed that I got a report via email, and even more so by the fact that the report also included additional information detailing the reasons that any of the preventative maintenance service items were suggested. This is like gold for someone who really doesn't know the ins and outs of an automobile (most anyone not in the auto industry!). I also had several coupons from the dealer and was able to use many of them towards the various things I needed. With that savings which ended up being around $400 I went ahead and did the "nice to do" preventative service maintenance based on having a better understanding of what was to be done and why. And to top it all off, my car was ready the same day, and it was also cleaned inside and out. I have gone to this dealer in the past and not had any issues, typically Richard has been the service consultant who has helped me and I've had good experiences. Clearly they've raised the bar with the new action plan that they email you, it certainly makes you feel a lot better when dropping a bit of money on your car . I guess the only thing I would complain about is the cost of auto service, but it's like anything else, and probably a bit higher in the DC area. Stephanie (Arlington, VA) More
Wonderful and Amazing is the best way to describe my experience purchasing a car from sales man, Ray Webb at Passport Nissan of Alexandria. Mr. Webb was truly a blessing in guiding me in my car purchas experience purchasing a car from sales man, Ray Webb at Passport Nissan of Alexandria. Mr. Webb was truly a blessing in guiding me in my car purchase. From the initial phone conversation with Mr. Webb, he assured me (someone with challenging credit) that “I’m going to do all that I can to help you." It happened so quick and fast that I thought I was dreaming. Mr. Webb was professional and efficient; he returned my phone calls in a timely manner; he didn’t prolong the process or pressure me into buying a car; and most of all he gave me hope in believing I would be driving away in a car before the day was over! Before driving away in my car, Mr. Webb took the time to go over the gidgets and gadgets of the car; and emphasized to call him if I have any questions or concerns. Mr. Webb was more interested in providing quality customer service and in ensuring my needs were met as a customer. This is what a great sales man is made of…..Nissan Passport of Alexandria, You’re The Best! More
I worked with Vanessa in sales via email exclusively. The best way to summarize the transaction is to say that she allowed me to go about the process of purchasing a new vehicle in my own way. She provided i best way to summarize the transaction is to say that she allowed me to go about the process of purchasing a new vehicle in my own way. She provided information where needed and spent energy making sure I understood the differences between various models, options, and trim lines (which can be confusing at first) without in injecting any sales pressure. In the end, I wound up buying the vehicle I really wanted at a very fair price. When I got to the dealership, every other person I dealt with: Said Abidelilah, sales manager, James White, financing (I had my own financing, but worked with James to do all the paperwork) Lou, the general manager was unfailingly polite and exhibited exemplary customer service skills. The made the whole process easy and painless. Prior to this experience, I would rather have gone to the dentist than a new car dealer. These folks changed that mindset. As a sideline, when I got there the next day to pick up the vehicle, which they did not have on the lot, but had brought in from another nearby relatively nearby location, I was early and had to wait a little. During this time, I was able to observe some interactions between Lou and another set of customers. This served as confirmation to me that these are good folks that do not operate in the stereotypical car-dealer-as-ruthless-shark mentality. This review probably sounds like it was written by Vanessa's mom, but it's all real, and no one is more surprised or pleased than me. More
This is the worst dealer I have ever delt with. The vehicle was originally taken in for a 60,000 mile service and to have two warning lights checked out. Two days after the vehicle came back, the serv vehicle was originally taken in for a 60,000 mile service and to have two warning lights checked out. Two days after the vehicle came back, the service lights came back on. When we tried to contact the service department to ask about the lights, the front desk lady hung up twice. When we actually went to the location, the manager told us that the issue was not their problem. We spent $1500 for the service and ended up taking the vehicle to The Frederick Md dealership. More
To be fair, when we first came to Passport Nissan, we had a great experience. The salesman and the sales manager treated us with respect and integrity and negotiated with us in good faith. But then, we had t a great experience. The salesman and the sales manager treated us with respect and integrity and negotiated with us in good faith. But then, we had to meet with the finance person. The finance manager played with the numbers as much as he could, moving numbers around and offering us services to make a deal we could both live with. He offered us a maintenance package - the "Gold Preferred" and said "everything will be covered for the first 5 years. You pay nothing - just bring it in every 3500 miles and we take care of the rest. Just sit and relax." I guess it sounded to good to be true, but it sounded like a deal so we agreed. But then, the paperwork that was supposed to come by mail never came. When I came in for our first service, I discovered that the "Gold Preferred" deal had been transformed into a "silver" deal - selling me oil changes at $69 each! If it sounds to good to be true, it is. If they make you an offer, don't just get the numbers in writing. Make sure they write down the specific "type" of package because they do not operate in good faith and their word cannot be trusted. So, we called this to their attention and guess what? The General Manager, Tom Taylor, says "Well, mistakes happen." Of course, if the mistake was mine, they would have made me honor it. But since it was theirs, no such luck. Tom Taylor is what is wrong with the car industry today. Don't do business with Passport Nissan. I hope the good sales people there move to another dealership, where it is worth doing business. More
