I have submitted an online request on the Infiniti web site on March 13th. On Monday March 14th I was contacted by Victoria Anderson and got a quote for leasing new FX35. Later on the same day Arthur Lauw site on March 13th. On Monday March 14th I was contacted by Victoria Anderson and got a quote for leasing new FX35. Later on the same day Arthur Lauw called me personally and assured me that I will not regret if I stop by the Passport Alexandria dealership. I visited the dealership and after a test drive and great customer service i signed a lease and drove home in a new FX35 (all that on the same day March14th). Arthur and Victoria were very professional and nice throughout my visit and made the purchase of my first new car a pleasure. Victoria has been great with arranging a follow-up meeting for answering questions about my new car. Victoria has been also extremely helpful with answering some additional questions about the vehicle registration and use which I send over e-mail. In my search for new car I had to deal with many car dealers and Arthur and Victoria were by far the best and most professional of all. I strongly recommend the Infiniti Passport of Alexandria dealership! More
Everyone was delightful to work with, and the customer service was top notch. We had a great experience here. They were extrememly patient with us, and even stayed late to help us with what we needed. The service was top notch. We had a great experience here. Purchased many cars in my day and when someone is about to spend $65K on a car I would expect a little more customer service. The good thing is they worked we me to get me a very good leasing offer. The to spend $65K on a car I would expect a little more customer service. The good thing is they worked we me to get me a very good leasing offer. The finance manager (Courtney) and Business Manger (Rodney) were helpful. The bad things are I was hounded after I decied not to purchase. If I say I will call you back that does not mean call me 8 times in a 24 hour period. Also, when you call me 8 times don't leave rude messages. Pretty much ruined it for me. Lastly, know you business! The sales person could wrongly answered questions about the car (IE, if you don't know where the DVD/CD go...ask someone and don't make it up)! Things started off good but ended bad. More
Ok where do I start? I'll make this an interesting story about my NEW car buying experience. I had to turn my SUV in for a its normal oil change, and noticed I passed the normal 5 yrs 60k power train warran about my NEW car buying experience. I had to turn my SUV in for a its normal oil change, and noticed I passed the normal 5 yrs 60k power train warranty by 3000 miles. I began to talk to a friend about cars, then was encouraged that its time to buy a new car. I decided to do so and began to start my research on line on specific cars. I simply ran a search on Google top 10 luxury cars. As such, it listed 15 luxury vehicles. I immediately began reading the articles supported by 12 different published magazines from Car & Driver to Automobile Magazine. To name a few of the competitors Mercedes, BMW, Acura, Lexus, Audi, Volvo and more. US news not only provided as much as information from different sources, but as well as True Score pricing (with proper options listed ) and places to take advantage of Financing. The following week, I applied for financing approved by Navy Federal for 3.9 and Capital one for 4.5 APR. I printed all of my true price report, literature on each cars, and lastly the options I wanted if I were to purchase a car. After receiving the blank checks from my 2 banks, I decided to take my time and test drive the cars I was most interested in. So my journey began that same week going as I had jotted down on a list of dealers that Capital One and Navy Federal was affiliated or considered them to be the banks recognized dealers to accept their blank checks. On the 2nd week of October, Passport Infiniti was close to my home and Infiniti was in the top 3 ranked vehicles by US News Ranks & Reviews. So I decided to drop by for a test drive to the dealership and doing so I was introduced to Sonja Bracey (New Car Sales Rep). She greeted me with a smile, and gave me a nice hand shake. At this time I was in no need to deal with the typical (LETS SALE YOU A CAR TODAY) attitude, so I was very grumpy at the time and decided to answer all of her questions in regards to what kind of car I was interested in. Although we walked in the parking lot looking for the car I wanted to test drive, I made it clear at the time, I wanted to test drive the vehicle that is fully equipped with the options I was looking for. Sonja Bracey, was very persistent to getting me what I wanted and didn't haggle about trying to bump me into another car nor persuade me to choose a different color. She was extremely polite (The Dutch are very nice people) and very respectful. She took the time to explain each options and what it came with in the package. She then decided to bring the car to the front of the Dealership to explain to me about the car and its benefits. She explained majority of the features and technology to me, but in my head (I wanted to just test drive the car) I wanted to feel what the car felt like on the road. After, a small presentation of the car we went onto the test drive. She gave me opportunities to feel the car the way it should be handled and driven. Which I did with caution, and being more attentive to the noise level of the road and the feel of the car on the turns, and bumps. The test drive came to an end, and Sonja simply asked for my contact number, as I clearly mentioned to her that I was just in the market to test drive a few High line vehicles and will get back to her. She then made a request as to follow up on my test drives. I accepted the request. The same day I went out to BMW of Fairfax and saw 6 sales reps sitting at one table joking and laughing as though they've sold 600 units that day and they were ready for retirement. Obviously that display of unprofessional ism showed me that Fairfax BMW doesn't care for their customers as much as they should. I then approached the receptionist for an available New Car sales rep, and in a matter of minutes one approached me. Almost the same routine occurred with BMW, except........ I was bumped up from a 535x to a 550x so that I could be more impressed by the comparison. The sales rep showed me all the gadgets and then brought me inside his office. After all said and done, the sales rep then brought me back out, and stated, since I'm spending that much money, I might as well invest in a 3M. Then tried to pressure me into test driving the vehicle. I declined the offer and walked away disappointed on pressured sales. That evening I went to volvo of Don Beyer in Alexandria and looked at their S80 series with almost the same amount of options as the comparable infiniti line. The car was noisy, the equipment look very lousy for it being a 2011, the sales man was very nice, but yet, not completely knowledgeable on the product when I had questions in regards to the packages or options that was offered on the vehicle. After leaving the dealership, I knew in my gut that IT WASN'T GOING TO BE A VOLVO. The next morning I received a phone call from Sonja as a courtesy follow up on how my test drives were going. I had nothing to hide and told her the complete truth and stated I was very impressed with the BMW Technology, but their sales staff is grade 3 out of a 10. I then decided to cut the conversation very short and stated I was still testing other cars. She wasn't reluctant in her car and respected my space. Neither dealership from Volvo or BMW ever followed up, I never said no to them nor did I say I was interested in any other car, which included the infiniti. I then decided to visit Pohanka of Lexus and met a gentleman who knew someone I knew personally. What a coincidence, (small world) I then asked to test drive the GS350. Sat in that car and BAM! I was impressed. Then........came the PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE SALES MAN SIDE. Let's look at your car, we can give you a good deal if you buy the car today, can we appraise your car? I decided to see what I was going to get for my '06 Armada. He came back with a reasonable offer on the table for their car and for my Armada, 18k. I said as I am impressed with their vehicle I still want to test drive all the rest of the cars. This person was EXTREMELY PERSISTENT, calling everyday, emailing me everyday, it then became an annoyance. That was a lack of professionalism if I do say so. During that same week I test drove the Audi A5, Mercedes E Class 4matic, and Acura RL. I wasn't that impressed with neither of the cars, but Chantilly Audi new car sales seemed to be under staffed and seemed to have forgotten about me. I would receive calls on a rare occasion. MBL of Tysons, the sales manager was very disrespectful to low ball me on my SUV and I took it personal and walked away without thinking twice that people their had low class. If I had the chance I would of encouraged the manager to take a course on mannerism. I went to both Radley Acura in Falls church and Woodbridge. The Falls Church had a nice sales rep, but just the wrong car. Woodbridge Acura, simply NO CLASS ACT! Might as well sell HONDAS. This has now been an ongoing 3 weeks of test driving and dealership observation. Now, as I am doing my test driving in those 3 weeks Sonja Bracey kept in contact with me about how my test drives were. I kept it straight with her and very honest. In the mean time I decided to narrow down my options to 2 vehicles, without test driving a Jaguar and Cadillac. I dont prefer American at a high end, no offense to Caddi & Jag lovers. It was going to be a Lexus GS 350 AWD or the Infiniti M37x. So I decided to give Lexus the first hit, and ended up visiting Lindsay of Lexus and met another individual who knew a friend of mine. When it came down to it, I ended up trying to sell my self a lexus, but couldn't do so, because they haven't redesigned their edition and it wont be out till 2012 and then there is a lack of technology that they had, so I said, the heck with it, why am I tormenting myself over a car I in whole DO NOT WANT, WHEN IN 2012 A NEW REDESIGN IS COMING OUT. I received a good deal with 1700 under invoice on the GS350 AWD and 17600 for my trade. I simply turned the head and said "I'll think about it". That evening I kept pulling up the Infiniti USa website and ultimately decided its going to be the Infiniti I will buy. I visited Tysons Infiniti great deal, good trade, no pressure sales, but I DONT CARE ATTITUDE, as though the Dallas Cowboys game was far more important than to focus on trying to make a deal. I could of cared less for that and decided to move on to see if another dealer would match that price. I ended up visiting a family member out at south riding and came across Chantilly Infiniti, went to take a look at their cars in the lot. A sales rep approached me and I stated to him I was in the market, and he immediately wanted to appraise my car, introduce me to his wholesaler and make a deal that day. I told him I just wanted to show my family member what my targeted car was going to be. Well, one thing led to another and it came to a point that I was given a phenomenal deal with an ok 17k for my trade. I just looked at him and said I'll think about it, but regardless, I ended up going on with my daily activities during the week and this individual ended up transporting the vehicle in without my consent, and began down grading my vehicle and the decisions I made to my car was a horrible one, including disrespecting an associate that has professionally altered cars in a unique way that it would look normal in L.A. or Miami. I knew that this wasn't going to be the person that was going to sell me the car, because again, BAD SERVICE MEANS NO SERVICE IN MY BOOK. I then decided to contact Sonja Bracey in Passport, and in doing so we made an evening appointment and I gave her along with her used car mgr. an opportunity to appraise my car. The used car manager and I didn't see eye to eye, as he was too far on my trade that I simply gave Sonja a handshake and wished her the best in her future deals. Although I walked away without a deal at that time, I was still treated with respect by the sales manager Rodney and Sonja of Passport. I further continued my quest with an appt with Annapolis Infinti and Bethesda Infiniti. Between the two, I only was able to go and visit Bethesda. They were indeed nice, but their sales manager had no care in my car and left the door ajar as rain soaked the driver's seat. That was the burnt crust on my toast that left a bad taste. So, when they informed me that the only vehicle I wanted was in Alexandria, I decided to head home, until I received a phone call by a mysterious man. Steven Browdy the General Manager of Passport Infiniti of Alexandria. He made it very clear that his motto is "WE WILL NOT BE UNDERSOLD BY ANY DEALER AND WILL TREAT YOU WITH THE RESPECT THAT YOU DESERVE, AS OUR CUSTOMER!!!!!" he then added "YOU LIVE IN THE AREA, YOU EXPECT TO BE TREATED DIFFERENTLY AND WITH HIGH RESPECT ON A LUXURY CAR, AND WE ARE THAT DEALERSHIP THAT CAN PROVIDE YOU THAT SERVICE YOU SEEK, WE WILL MAKE THE DEAL HAPPEN" After making such statements he wanted to take a picture of my vehicle and to give him 24hrs to see if he could get a buyer that would give money for my car. I gave him my word and stated I won't go anywhere else until I receive a phone call. During this time Sonja Bracey was communicating with me through text on the status and as things were in the works, GM Steven Browdy followed up the next morning at 1043 am Novemeber 5th. He came back with a number on the trade, which I wasn't ecstatic about, so I replied to him "I'll think about it". He then decided to work the deal even further to make the gears in motion, he offered more on the trade and stated "We will do everything we possibly can to provide you the BEST service and make your new car buying experience a breeze. I'll try to make it as smooth as possible as I can." So far he has lived up to his word. I ended up making that deal that evening at 540pm, on a new Malbec Black M37x Tech & Prem Pkg. I didn't leave that dealership till 933pm. But, the whole process was smooth without any problems. Now, to summarize this ENTIRE New car buying experience. I was approved by Navy Fed and Capital One for their lowest APR of 3.9 and 4.5. I walked away with 2.9 instead, by Passport Infiniti. They saved me money versus that of my own two banks. That blank check? TRASH. As far as professionalism, product knowledge, PRICE, GM approach, Mgr presence, and of all... Sales Representative Sonja was an experience that can not be replaced nor duplicated. General Manager Steven Browdy was unwittingly professional, determined, respectful, A+ Class Act, & persistent, gave me a whole new PERSPECTIVE on what a REAL HIGH END AND CLASS ACT A high lined dealership should present themselves. Sonja Bracey, extremely patient, persistent, professional, well structured, courteous, A person with a high degree of skill in or knowledge of a certain subject, which I would call an EXPERT in her own class of sales. These two individuals has made my New High End Car buying experience an incomparable match with their competitors visiting over 7 luxury car dealerships and with the majority of them grading lower than a D for customer service, presentation, and overall experience. They say a good product doesn't need a sales person, but a good product does need a PROFESSIONAL sales person. And that is what I invested in, The PASSPORT INFINITI, GENERAL MANAGER STEVEN BROWDY, AND SONJA BRACEY. That is where my investment went, and at no point do I regret it. It was an amazing experience that I've shared with everyone and I strongly hope that every buyer out there that wants to invest in a luxury vehicle that wont let you down (look at the reviews, M37 is the top in its class), with a professional atmosphere that you will be comfortable to purchase your NEW CAR at, see Steven Browdy the General Manager & Sonja Bracey. Now I can go to the Olympic Team Trials with a clear mind. Thank you Steven and Sonja, for making my new high end car buying experience a smooth one, you guys are great!!!!!!! More
Recently purchased a used G37, a very nice, expensive used vehicle, they treated us like we purchased a $3000 beater. The sales man was rude, showed us cars that employees used to run errands and eat in used vehicle, they treated us like we purchased a $3000 beater. The sales man was rude, showed us cars that employees used to run errands and eat in leaving trash and dry cleaning in the vehicle. Once we did find a clean car the tire light was on, I was assured it would go off, once we got home and looked the car over during the day light there was a golf ball size bulge in the tire. We had to drive 3 hours back to the dealership to get a new tire after arguing on the phone, only to be treated even more rudely for asking for 2 tires so the car would drive correctly. So we have owned the for 1 month and have still not received the license plates or a call regarding the plates, but they had no problem cashing our check. I wish I could take back the car and go somewhere else, this is not a luxury car dealership, this is shady used car dealership tactics at it's best. More
We bought a $13,000 used car there. They were supposed to send us the title to the car, however it did not arrive at our house. So I called. And left a message. And called again. And again. And again to send us the title to the car, however it did not arrive at our house. So I called. And left a message. And called again. And again. And again, and again. Left messages, both on machines and with people, and then called again...over the course of a week. Nobody ever called me back, not even the manager of the dealership. Nothing. Totally ignored us, forcing us to drive back down there to find out what was up. Really really irritating. I guess they got our money for the car and then figured they had no stake in dealing with us any more. I won't go back. More

The price negotiated for my new G37 Coupe and the trade value for my former auto was outstanding. Jason and Sonja were bright, professional, knowledgable and an absolute pleasure to work with. Donna in finance was fantastic. She too was bright, professional, knowledgable and a pleasure. The forthcoming and honest experience was appreciated. My family and I were treated wonderfully. While we were visiting northern Virginia, we found this dealership on the internet. We were looking for a used EX35. Passport Infinity had several in stack as well as an extremely helpful website. Our sale dealership on the internet. We were looking for a used EX35. Passport Infinity had several in stack as well as an extremely helpful website. Our salesman, Yamil Abed, was super....very knowledgeable, interesting, patient and customer service oriented. When we met Chris Eader, the used car manager, I thought, oh no, here we go with the usual "car dealership routine". I was so wrong! Chris was extremely personable and HELPFUL throughout the ENTIRE process. Both Yamil & Chris did everything possible to help us take the vehicle home. Everyone who buys a car should have the experience of working with these two gentlemen. Within a week, we had a small glitch and needed a replacement part and a manual. Thanks to TONY, in the Parts Department, we do not have a glitch any more. All is well. He took care of it! And did I mention that Dorothy did a great job with all of the paperwork? Well, she did! In summary, checkout their website for lots of information & visit Passport Infinity for an excellent car buying experience. We LOVE the EX35!!! More
Great experience, Donna, Jason, and Tommy all stayed 2 hours after close to wait on me to finish my paperwork. The price agreed to on the phone was very good and below invoice. When I arrived the price hours after close to wait on me to finish my paperwork. The price agreed to on the phone was very good and below invoice. When I arrived the price was the same, the deal was real! This was not expected, and I was ready to walk out if not. Tommy was very helpful and nice, pulling out lots of cars out of their back lot on a really hot day. And was insisting on showing me the features of the car even at 11:15pm. The car had plastic on it still and only 7 miles on it, awesome! When I came out to get in the car they had cleaned most of the sticky plastic off the car. Let a scratch or two on the driver said rear quarter panel, that I am hoping will buff out. I got a 2010 Black G37x sedan, and love it. I hope their service will be as good as the sales experience. I've owned my FX35 for 6 years and have used this dealership 3 times. Their web-bases services are poor. I made an appointment on line a few days ago asking if parts were available based on damages dealership 3 times. Their web-bases services are poor. I made an appointment on line a few days ago asking if parts were available based on damages assessed by Geico. The voicemail I received today didn't address that question. When I called to ask, Russell didn't know, and when he went to ask the service department, they said something to the effect "Well we don't trust Geico and you have to bring the car in. If we don't have the part, we'll have to order it." Translation: I'm making extra trips most likely and they don't car. I suspect they never looked at the Geico assessment as it's just two plastic parts broken from hitting an animal. My previous contact with this dealer was just as bad...I gave them a second chance because they're close to were I work. That won't happen again. In contrast, I've had excellent service with Infiniti of Tysons Corner...they're double the drive, but 10x better with service. They also sold me a 2010 G37 at a great price. Unlike Lexus, not all Infiniti dealers give great service. More
