If it wasn't for Don Vermillion, the dealer would be low class. I love Bimmers and the closest dealer to me is Passport. Their sales force sucks. The Vermillion sales guys are great, but the others just class. I love Bimmers and the closest dealer to me is Passport. Their sales force sucks. The Vermillion sales guys are great, but the others just want your money and will kiss up while they're trying to get it, but once they got it - forget good after-sales service. Don Vermillion and Barry are fine, but the rest of them follow the sales managers lead and they don't have xxxxx to put together a respectable deal. FYI, I've purchase three BMW's from Passport before the latest sales manager arrived and haven't purchased another from them since. That says it all.

More

All my questions were quickly answered and we negoitated a good fair price without a lot of games. The car was delivered detailed, floor mats, full of fuel, and a BMW hat to look great with the top down. . Purchased 2004 530 through Joern Esser. Heard great things about him from bimmerfest.com. He was quick to make me the best deal I could find in the whole country. Great email communications and a very things about him from bimmerfest.com. He was quick to make me the best deal I could find in the whole country. Great email communications and a very sincere individual. He took care of the whole european delivery process, along with arranging for the car to have windows tinted, clearcoat car bra put on car and out of state car registration once the car was in the US. I was in NYC and went all the way to Maryland for Joern's pricing! He is an exceptional, reliable and dependable salesperson. Ask specifically for him when you call. Other salesman try to steal his customers. Being of German background, he can tell you all the tips on your Munich visit. More

This was by far the worst purchasing experience I HAVE EVER HAD, I bought a used 2003 BMW 330Ci, before I could drive it, the low oil light flashed up (they couldnt even fill the oil before selling the xx EVER HAD, I bought a used 2003 BMW 330Ci, before I could drive it, the low oil light flashed up (they couldnt even fill the oil before selling the xxxx thing), in addition, I had to spend $1300 in window repairs as the car was vandalized before the purchase (sratches that were all over the car windows, which I had missed during the test drive), they refused to help me with the problem, eventually making me pay for it (the car was only 2 wks old at that point). In addition, they would even attend to the problems that I specified (side molding falling off), they are content to give you the "run around" unless your willing to feed them more cash, in which case they will become your new best friend. THIS DEALERSHIP IS ALL ABOUT THE $$, no professionalism or customer satisfaction...they just care about sales, I will never buy any of my cars there ever again More
This was by far the best time around for buying a new car. Using the internet I was able to quickly check the market from Alexandria to Baltimore. Passport was the only one who lived up to the concept car. Using the internet I was able to quickly check the market from Alexandria to Baltimore. Passport was the only one who lived up to the concept of an easier buying experience with the internet. Joern was outstanding and his knowledge of vehichles shows by hitting the right areas and without boring you to tears. I am going to go thru the European delivery experience and will update this in a couple of months. But for now if you want to buy a BMW in this area this is the place to go. More
Posted requests on different websites. Passport was the last one to bother, two days after, with games like "call me, important information to share". If I have wanted to call I would have done it from the last one to bother, two days after, with games like "call me, important information to share". If I have wanted to call I would have done it from the beginning! Some dealerships don't get the internet idea yet !!! More
I initiated the sales inquiry via autobytel.com and Rob responded almost immediately. After getting my requirements, Rob came back with a great proposal and a great price. The entire transaction was done p responded almost immediately. After getting my requirements, Rob came back with a great proposal and a great price. The entire transaction was done professionally. There was no sales pressure; no feeling that I got smoothed talk into getting something that I don’t want. At one point, the deal almost did not go through because we couldn’t agree on a trade-in price for my old Lexus, but even then, Rob was patient in answering my other questions on my way out. I wanted to look at the engine compartment; instead of just opening up the hood and said, “Here you go, have a look”; he proceeded to spend the next few minutes explaining the layout. This was when he thought the deal might not materialize! The best thing was when Rob called the next day with a drastically improved trade-in price, and I drove away with a new 330xi.

I’ll keep you posted on the service department experience, although the first service appointment will be at 15,000 miles (BMW uses synthetic oil nowadays). Keep my fingers crossed.
More
In July of 2002 I scheduled an Inspection II maintenance service to be done on my 1999 BMW 323i. The invoice for the complete service was $647.82.
