I recently experienced the most satisfying and fun car buying experience ever at Passport BMW (Jan-Feb 2009). I've just purchased my very first BMW and could not be any happier with my investment. W buying experience ever at Passport BMW (Jan-Feb 2009). I've just purchased my very first BMW and could not be any happier with my investment. When I first spoke to my sales guy, Ed Han, he wasted no time in giving me the bottom-line "out-the-door" cost details of the BMW 3-series model I wanted. I was very grateful that at no time did Ed try to pressure me to buy something I did not want. I am a stickler for details and expect my salesperson to know their product as well as answer my questions adequately. Ed exceeded my challenge with a smile and lots of laughter. He always took the time to answer my questions and used layman’s terms when necessary. More importantly, Ed never got tired of explaining my choices of options and always offered suggestions when and where appropriate. I really believe Ed wanted to ensure I made the best informed decisions. Based on the all options I selected (fully loaded), it became very clear to us both the car I wanted would have to be ordered from the factory. After we did all the paperwork to begin the process of purchasing my new car, Ed took the time to set me up with a BMW online account. The fun part of this whole experience was tracking my car online while it was being built. However, the very best part was the very short length of time it took my car to be built from start to finish to delivery (4-weeks and 4 days), after being advised by another Dealership it would take 12 weeks. When I buy my next BMW, I will definitely be contacting Ed Han and Passport BMW to handle the sale. Thanks! Denise More
A coworker suggested this service center to me after I had a bad experience with the service center in Annapolis. I called in for an appointment and they took me in the next day (When I called the servic had a bad experience with the service center in Annapolis. I called in for an appointment and they took me in the next day (When I called the service center in Annapolis, they weren't available for a month!) Everyone was friendly, they have a great lounge area and cafe. It was clean, bathrooms were nice, two TVs and 3 computers in the lounge room. I waited for two hours for just routine maintenance, but it was well worth the wait. When I got to my car, the seat protector they use was taken out and my car had been washed. (Although, not as good as my carwash, but good enough to notice it had been cleaned.) I was sure to walk around the car before driving off to make sure they're weren't any dents/scratches (a lesson I learned from the Annapolis one). All in all, I was really impressed with my service at Passport BMW. :) More

Ed is a legitimate good guy and first class individual who epitomizes the way a car salesman should conduct business. I very much look forward to dealing with him on future deals. I am delighted to endorse Ed and Passport BMW and I would be more than happy to give them a solid recommendation. If quality, integrity and professionalism mean anything to you then you need to contact Ed at Passport BMW. I guarantee you won't find a better deal anywhere else nor could you be possibly treated any better. More
Once I communicated to Mr Shah that I had made my decision (via phone) on a different BMW at another location, I was harassed and this is unacceptable. I'm the customer - and as such, I hope that decision (via phone) on a different BMW at another location, I was harassed and this is unacceptable. I'm the customer - and as such, I hope that someone communicates the value of this to Mr Shah. I have EVERY right to make a decision and should not be harassed for doing so. I would not recommend your dealership to anyone based on my experience- More
Purchased a new X5 from Passport. Instead of having to wait 2 months for my vehicle to be built, Joe Long called another Bmw dealer and found the exact car I wanted. Two months turned into 3 days! I bought a 335i convertible. The price was negotiated through USAA, it should have been a quick experience, I already had the price negotiated, I already had financing approved. It took one hour and 45 through USAA, it should have been a quick experience, I already had the price negotiated, I already had financing approved. It took one hour and 45 minutes to get a price for my 2006 Lexus SC trade in. It has taken me six weeks to get the second key, and they the wrong key was delivered. The customer service and attention to detail at this dealership is missing. It it the one thing that you expect from a high end luxury dealership. I would not recommend them. More

Then it gets ugly was told if you dont drive a bmw it will knot up but knots will go away the more you drive it thought this was a little strange but hey he is the sales person and he should know the product. 2nd day of driving brakes was making horrible sound thought this was just brake dust I just could not see BMW selling a preowned with out checking everything out in this car. I found myself on the 3rd day checking under the hood found out there was only enough oil to touch the tip of the dip stick this made me to say the least angry. But the kicker is the transmission went out 35 days after purchasing this lemon called Berry told him about this his reply was this is why you have a warranty. wrong f ****** anser but prior to this told him about papers I found from previous owner how she had same problem with brakes and transmission how about come and get a new f****** car, fast foward to the service department and Tony Medeiros never calls to give updates had to call him to only find out that the car needed a new transmission on the 25th of july drop the car off on july 22 was told on 25th would recieve call on 28th, transmission would be put in on 28th have not yet recieve call, the only time I talk to Tony is when I call, called today 08-06 left message to call me back at this number stated number in wich I wanted him to call me on did not recieve a call when I called was told Tony was gone for the day I feel like I been robed by BMW and your customer service stinks so Bmw please keep that car I will never drive that car AGAIN I WILL LET MY LAWYER HANDLE MATTERS FROM HERE Thanks for nothing More
Passport BMW is a horrible company. I bought my car from long distance, the only nice thing they did for me was pick me up from the airport. When I got to pick up my car, which I had not seen prior to this long distance, the only nice thing they did for me was pick me up from the airport. When I got to pick up my car, which I had not seen prior to this purchase, there were chunks taken out of the windows as if someone tried to break in the car and steal it. The salesperson, seemed shocked that I actually noticed that there was something wrong with the windows of the car. The manager, however, was nice and took care of the problem. But, since I have had the car, I have had many many issues that should have been fixed if the car was in fact "Certified Pre-Owned". Passport takes no responsibility for fixing the car and it was even hard to get them to fix the windows on the car. My BMW dealership here waited for a long time to have the payment sent to them. Please make sure that they treat you weel since you are buying a very expensive car from them. They do not give the service of other dealers. When I did rate the dealer, as BMW calls you to ask how your experience was, and did not give them all 5s (which the sales person said, when I was driving off and he did not show me how everything worked on the car, remember all 5s!) he called my father, who helped me purchase my car, this was my first car I bought, and complained to him and asked why he didn't get all 5s. My dad's name is no where on the title or the agreement of the car so I have no idea why he called them. I know he didn't get a bonus because I did not give him all fives, but he did not deserve it. Please never ever purchase a car from Passport. They do not treat you well and do not have quality certified pre owned cars. More
Passport was the only dealer that had the car that i wanted in the country. I contacted Ed and we negotiated a deal out very quickly. They aren't giving cars away but they will give you a fair deal. I wanted in the country. I contacted Ed and we negotiated a deal out very quickly. They aren't giving cars away but they will give you a fair deal. I flew in To Baltimore and Passport picked me up at the airport and after some quick signatures had me on my way. I live in Chicago and went to every dealer in the area to try and close this deal and none of them gave me even close to the customer service that Passport did. They can and will ship cars anywhere i just decided to pick mine up. I suggest you give this dealer a shot no matter where in the county you reside. More
this is the 3rd CPO BMW i have purchased from this dealership and all 3 times it needed to go back to the dealer for repairs that should have been corrected during the inspection. last time, it took dealership and all 3 times it needed to go back to the dealer for repairs that should have been corrected during the inspection. last time, it took 5 trips (5 personal days off work for me) and its still not right. in fact, while driving home the X5, we were pulled over by the police for inoperative brake lights. turned right around and went back to the dealership, who put us in a loaner for over a week. and this was a certified pre-owned (CPO) car. can you imagine if it was not? service does what is least required to get the cars ready for the sales lot. this is a BMW, not a chevy. guess they try to cut corners to save a buck, but what happens is they lose a customer for life. i even bet the owner of the dealership that i could find one obvious thing wrong on any CPO car on the used lot. never heard back from him. what is a terrible shame is that used BMW sales is outstanding, which is why i returned and bought more cars. not anymore. price doesn't sell cars; service does.
