I came to Passport by accident. I used to dislike BMWs, the image they conveyed, etc...However, my brother was looking for a car and was very close to buying one at BMW of Arlington but I encouraged him to the image they conveyed, etc...However, my brother was looking for a car and was very close to buying one at BMW of Arlington but I encouraged him to "think about it" for a couple of hours because something just did not feel right (besides the fact that the car proposed by BMW Arlington was not quite what he wanted and that he would be settling). Still looking for options, we decided to drive to Passport. There we met Ed Han who immediately listened to my brother's concerns and answered all our questions. He searched high and low to find a car that would suit my brother's needs and answered questions truthfully (unlike the person we dealt with at BMW of Arlington but that's another review all together). The experience was so easy and hassle free (Ed is possibly one of the most patient man on Earth)that my mood actully improved while at Passport (after looking at cars all day I was getting pretty cranky!!). THEN... I decided I wanted a new car and I have to say that after driving my brother's I realized I actually LIKED BMWs :). I liked the feeling of "safety" and stability the car gave me. However, I did not know what I wanted and had many pre-conceived ideas of what type of car I should have. So back to Ed we went... and the search began. It took me over three weeks of trying every car I could think of (128, 3Series Coupe, Sedan, X3, automatic, manual, etc...) to come to a decision and let go of my apprehensions and chose the right car for me. Through the whole process, Ed Han provided advice, listened to concerns, pointed out options I had not considered, was never pushy... and finally made me a deal I just could not refuse :) So, I am now a proud BMW owner and I am hooked. I have to say I cannot imagine buying a car from anyone but Ed from now on. In addition, everyone (Jay, the finance manager who made the whole paperwork deal easy as pie, the general manager who helped with my brother's trade in...) we've worked with at the dealership was very friendly (and not in a pushy sleezy way like at other places). Finally, the dealership facilities are pleasant, bright, and comfortable. As a final note, I live less than two miles away from BMW of Arlington but felt so uneasy there that I would never use that dealership. More
I just want to say that my experience with Passport has been nothing but outstanding. My salesman in particular, Mohammad Afshar, who worked with me throughout the deal. Mohammad was just simply outstand been nothing but outstanding. My salesman in particular, Mohammad Afshar, who worked with me throughout the deal. Mohammad was just simply outstanding in getting me exactly what I wanted without hassle. He acted more like a personal friend than a salesman. Joe Long, General Sales Manager, was not only professional but very personable in his dealings with me. If I had a problem, it was dealt with swiftly and efficiently. I can't say enough about Passport and their outstanding customer service and products. I can certainly say without hesitation, that BMW stands behind their product, unlike some others. I will always buy from Passport BMW. This will make my third BMW and my tenth automobile I've purchased in my lifetime and by far the BMW is the best. I've also owned a Mercedes, that cannot touch the BMW. The BMW is the best thing out on the road in my book. This experience was one of the best car deliveries I've ever experienced. I told Mohammad that Passport will be experiencing a definite increase in BMW sales in the very near future. I will tell all of my family, friends and colleagues of their outstanding customer service and outstanding cars. Thanks again for another job very well done! Linda Crump More

I picked out one car and at the last minute, changed my mind to get something different ( a women's perogative). This did not phase Emil, he wanted to ensure his customer was happy with her purchase, and I certainly am. Emil deserves a bonus in my estimation of no less than $1000 because of the outstanding service, and his patient and professional demeanor. Bravo to Emil and the top notched staff of Passport BMW. I have been in professional sales for over thirty years and can not remember writing a testimonial on behalf of another sales person. I have just purchased my sixth BMW and the third from Passport! Unfortu and can not remember writing a testimonial on behalf of another sales person. I have just purchased my sixth BMW and the third from Passport! Unfortunately I have not had the time to express the exhausting level of attention and professionalism extended to me by Mr. Mohammad Afshar until today. I must admit it was a bit awkward due to the fact that this was a corporation purchase and Mr. Redden had to negotiate on my behalf with my partners. He did well obviously because I have the keys. Once the paper work was complete Mr.Afshar went into action and I will recommend him to anyone that walks onto Passport. Both were complete gentlemen and reinforced why I travel from Montgomery County to purchase and to receive service from your organization! I did complete the BMW survey and believe you got all 5’s.With our economy being upside down you can not top the enthusiasm I witnessed and it is my sincere hope that the compensation Mr.Afshar receives is commiserate to the expectations to those that follow his example. I am availing myself this opportunity to thank you for the world class treatment I received while leasing my BMW X5. I have been a Cadillac owner for the past four years, and have never received serv the world class treatment I received while leasing my BMW X5. I have been a Cadillac owner for the past four years, and have never received service that even comes close to the caliber of excellence that Passport BMW delivered. The quality of my experience was unquestionably exceptional. I have referred, and will continue to refer, your dealership to all of my colleagues. Again, I appreciate the attentiveness Passport BMW delivered, and look forward to a long-standing relationship. Sincerely, JDR More
On May 28,2009, I wrote the following to the sales managers at Passport BMW: I want to take the time to express the excellent, professional and courteous service I received at your BMW Center. My managers at Passport BMW: I want to take the time to express the excellent, professional and courteous service I received at your BMW Center. My Client Advisor, Peter Brizan, provided exceptional service and assistance during my recent visit. My selected vehicle is a 750 Li. Mr. Brizan service was exceptional during the sales and ordering of my new BMW 750 Li. I had contacted three other local dealerships and expressed my desire to purchase a new vehicle. I provide the exact build that I wanted and asked each dealer to provide me their best offer. I was already sold on the car but was shopping for a dealership to feel comfortable at for my purchase. Needless to say, Mr. Brizan took me seriously and provided the best price quote in his first offer. While the other salesmen were reserved in giving me the best price quote and wanted to wait and undercut the other offers, Mr. Brizan provided the offer in a detail and clear quote. Since I came in through the internet buying plan, I had expected to receive the best pricing without negotiating. The only dealer that respond to my expectations was Passport BMW ( Peter Brizan). I just wanted to express my satisfaction with the level of knowledge of the vehicle , the sales service and the professionalism. I am looking forward to having Passport as my Service Center because of my introductory experience. Also, I chose Passport over a dealership that is closer to my residence. I will also be recommending Passport and Mr. Brizan to my friends and associates looking for and excellent brand of cars and sales experience. More
I was, and am always, very satisfied with the superior customer service Passport provides. Because of that, I am encouraging my husband as well as friends and family members to buy BMW. The BWM brand is f customer service Passport provides. Because of that, I am encouraging my husband as well as friends and family members to buy BMW. The BWM brand is first class all the way! My husband, an avid lover of Mercedes, was very impressed with Passport's courteous and professional staff. He even mentioned he "might" buy BWM the next time around. Keep up the good work Passport(Suitland)! More

I would recommend this dealer over the rest of the BMW dealers in the area. The sales team is highly experienced, knowledgeable, honest, responsive and willing to go the extra mile to make a deal. I got a dealers in the area. The sales team is highly experienced, knowledgeable, honest, responsive and willing to go the extra mile to make a deal. I got a very good deal for my new 535i - XDrive. I did an extensive search and talked to most of the dealers in the area, i.e.; Fairfax, Sterling, Rockville VOB, Tischer Silver Spring and I can vouch for Passport BMW over all of them for the price and the sales personnel. I am extremely satisfied and would recommend Passport BMW to anyone who is in the market for a new BMW. More
We just traded in our relatively new BMW purchased from Passport BMW. Sadly, we found out some very disturbing facts about the BMW Extended Service Contract and the BMW Extended Maintenance Plan that Passp Passport BMW. Sadly, we found out some very disturbing facts about the BMW Extended Service Contract and the BMW Extended Maintenance Plan that Passport sold to us. First off, when sold the car, Passport attempted to sell us a third party extended warranty without informing us that it wasn't actually a true BMW factory warranty. We caught them at it and received the actual factory warranty after demanding it instead. Another issue regarding both of these extended contracts is Passport never told us that they have suggested retail prices for these plans and that they can basically charge whatever they decide or can negotiate from you. I believe if something has an MSRP, you should be informed about it. In regards to the BMW Extended Maintenance Plan, Passport never told us that this $2,195 contract designed to cover the maintenance costs for mileage between 50,000 and 100,000 miles actually belongs to the vehicle, NOT YOU, and that once you buy it, you cannot be refunded any money unless the vehicle is wrecked and deemed a total loss. We lost that $2,195 when we traded in this vehicle with less than 50,000 miles because of this serious information omission. It was a case of: sign this, sign this, sign this, etc. As for the BMW Extended Service/Warranty contract, we've found it is partially refundable, but Passport never told us this plan pro-rated. I should add, severely pro-rated. The pro-ration is apparently based on the mileage or time you've owned the vehicle under 50,000 miles, whichever is least advantageous to you. With roughly 34,000 miles on the vehicle at trade-in, and the plan completely unused, we will receive slightly over $1,800 dollars back from an initial $2,875 dollar cost. Passport is receiving over $1,000 plus interest paid on the loan, because the plan was financed, for what? As to why we purchased these two extended coverage products, we did so because both the salesman and the finance representative made a point of emphasizing how expensive BMW maintenance and repairs are to scare us into purchasing the protection. Last, we feel the Passport did a very poor job of explaining BMW's free portion of their maintenance plan, the part that covers the car up to 50,000 miles. At delivery, the representative told us oil changes/services are performed every 10,000 miles on the vehicle. That turned out to be false since we drive mainly highway miles. In our case, and with our driving habits, the vehicle system was reporting to only need maintenance every 20,000 miles. During our 34,000 miles of ownership, we had received just one oil change. Our advice to future customers of this dealership is to ask tough questions! More
