There was no discomfort or anxiety that I usually feel when making a substantial purchase, such as this. We were immediately greeted at the entrance of the sales floor, by a smiling face, and directed promptly to our client advisor. The facility was immaculate. We were given a tour of the facility and were thoroughly impressed by all that Passport BMW had to offer its customers. I came in to the dealership to browse and was immediately hooked up with Annamarie Pistone. She asked me the usual questions, what brings you in, price, what are you looking for, etc. After reviewing a few hooked up with Annamarie Pistone. She asked me the usual questions, what brings you in, price, what are you looking for, etc. After reviewing a few cars Annamaire made the BEST suggestion that no other dealership or BMW dealership made which ultimately put me in a 2011 328i. I was looking to buy a 2006-2008 used BMW. However, Annamarie proposed a great deal which worked to the best benefit of me and I am completely happy. Annamarie was a straight shooter and we connected after several minutes together. She understood the position I was in and took into consideration my needs vs. my wants and provided the best possible solution which no other dealership offered. Annamarie is sharp, honest and simply a pleasure to work with. Although I was skeptical of the dealership once I connected with Annamarie those doubts were quickly erased. I bought my most recent BMW 5-series (2008) from Matt this past December. But I still had not been able to pair my garage door opener to my car. I purchased a new 3 series BMW from Passport in July 2010. The price was fair, the trade-in price was good and Stephen Ludwig, my CA, was very helpful. Subsequent service has been good. I brought my 2005 BMW525 in for service directly from the car wash do to vibrations at speeds above 50mph. After inspection, the technician showed me the two rear tires steel belts separated internally and b car wash do to vibrations at speeds above 50mph. After inspection, the technician showed me the two rear tires steel belts separated internally and began to cut through the tread. Both the service advisor and the technician stated they had only seen something like it 5 times and that it was a rare event. I stated that it happened to me once before on a 2000 BMW 745iL. The technician also showed me a leak from my transmission when removed the pan. I had less than 60,000 miles on my 525 and now the transmission is leaking fluids. [This was beginning to be de'javu all over again...same problem with my earlier 745iL.] Total bill for tires, wheel alignment, oil change, transmission service, and car rental was over two thousand dollars. But, the story gets worse. I came to pick up my car with a state of Maryland Credit Union cashier's check for the bill only to be told by the cashier that the service department does not accept cashier's checks. I asked to speak to the Service Manager. Fortunately, a new car salesman was passing through the cashier's office and overheard my story and could not believe his ears. He stated that in new car sales cashier's checks are accepted all the time. The service manager seemed lossed for words and returned to the accounting department for a solution. He returned with an 'OK' to accept my cashier's check from the state of Maryland Credit Union. The service manager sent me on my way still confused about the policy. When I went outside to get my car, I couldn't believe my eyes! The car was covered with bird poop!! "That's it!" I said, "I am through with Passport and BMWs. More
I have utilized the services of this dealership several times in the past 2 years. My service manager, Dave Cornell has always kept me informed of the status of my vehicle. I usually wait for my vehicle in thier beautiful spaceous waiting room. My vehicle is always returned to me washed and ready to go. I highly recommend this dearlership for sales and services. More
I began shopping online for a new vehicle. Matt answered my inquiry promptly and helped me to find a vehicle that fit my needs. He then offered me a great deal. Initially upon buying my car, they were very helpful and friendly upon getting my paperwork finalized for a used car. But soon i would find out that their follow-up customer service is not as good as sales. First let me mention the numerous times that I have been out there to get little items fixed on my car. Next to my dismay I find out that the tags that I paid $240.00 was never ordered or picked up, and my tags were soon to expire. Upon going out there and calling on several occasions and receiving the run around no one seem to know why my tags was not ordered, or partically seem to be interested in finding out. I have talked to the general as well, who assured me on 3/12, that the first thing Tuesday morning someone would be going to get my tags... Well guess what today is Tuesday and I have not heard anything nor is anyone answering their phones again... They have very good customer service to get you to buy a car; however after that any complaints or concerns a customer has, I must say you are on your own. I wish someone would have told me about them before I went. More
