I would highly recommend Passport if you are in the market for a new BMW. We worked with Greg Parker, who is a fantastic Client Advisor. In the DC area, there are quite a few BMW dealers, but it's market for a new BMW. We worked with Greg Parker, who is a fantastic Client Advisor. In the DC area, there are quite a few BMW dealers, but it's important to consider a couple factors. The smaller dealers will not have as many models in stock if you are looking to buy immediately or not as many allocation slots if you want to order. On the flip side, the larger ones sometimes don't have the greatest customer service because they are so focused on hitting volume targets. During our buying process, I spoke with many dealers in VA and MD, and my experience with the others was far inferior to our dealing with Greg. We bought a 2012 X3 less than a month into the new model year. Most dealers were giving us the standard runaround with inflated pricing ("we don't discount, we are selling them like "hotcakes!") and turnaround time- between 4-8 weeks. From the beginning Greg was direct and no games. He treated us the way most customers in a high-end car dealership would like to be treated: like informed and educated consumers. Greg presented a great price without any hidden fees and was able to get our order into production weeks before other BMW dealers could promise. He also facilitated every aspect of our Performance Center Delivery experience in South Carolina. And an often overlooked part of the process (post-sale) was great- Greg followed up with us and made sure everything was just the way we liked. We could have bought from 3 BMW dealers closer than Passport, but didn't. Greg will tailor the buying experience to your needs: if you want to conduct the majority of the process over email or phone, he will save you a lot of valuable time. Like I said, no games, he's absolutely straightforward. Greg surpassed all of the others in customer service, professionalism, and price. More
