I recently purchased a 2012 BMW 640i from Passport BMW after visiting 4 other dealers. None of the other dealers were able to locate the car that I wanted. Nan Wong went out of her way, making numerous after visiting 4 other dealers. None of the other dealers were able to locate the car that I wanted. Nan Wong went out of her way, making numerous calls and inquiries tracking down just the right car for me. Four other dealers found no options for me. Nan/Passport found 6 options that I could choose from and take delivery in less than 3 weeks. I can't say enough good things about Passport. They are clearly the best dealer I've been to and go out of their way to help make their clients experience nothing less than excellent. More
I was in the market for an X5 and knew the specs I wanted and the price I wanted to pay. Annamarie found the car I wanted, we traded e-mails and couple of phone calls and the deal was done basically in one and the price I wanted to pay. It was a total no hassle experience vs other dealerships I had been dealing with earlier. I wish I had just gone to her in the beginning instead of dealers in the area that started off numbers that made no sense. There was one small hiccup in the delivery that had nothing to do with Passport or Annamarie but they did a great job correcting it. The follow-up service has also been great and actually look forward to see how they do when it comes to maintenance, I assume it will be pleasurable as the rest of the experience. She is definitely high recommended and if I decided to buy another car, I will be sure to go see Annamarie and Passport. More

Problems started in Nov. My car would start but immediately cut off. It got towed to Passport and they said it was the idle control valve. So I told them to fix it - it was $700. The first week of Jan the car did the same thing and had to be towed again to Passport. They had the car 2 weeks and finally decided I needed a new vent valve - supposedly had a hole in it even though it was fine when the car was there in Nov. Another $600 which I paid. They said they definitely fixed the problem - I won't have any issues and if so they would pay the next tow bill. I get the car back and that very night the car is running horribly. I attempt to drive it back to BMW but don't make it. Car starts and immediately cuts off. Car has to be towed a third time. Now they say I need a new fuel pump and they want $750 to fix that and pay for the tow bill. I refuse to pay that. I said the car needed a fuel pump the first time and you didn't fix that. I call BMW NA and get them involved.. They are not much help but do call the dealer. Finally, the service manager calls me. I agree to pay for parts - $440 but not labor and not the tow bill. Still arguing.... PS BMW NA told me that maybe I should find another dealer to take the car to... GOOD ADVICE TO FOLLOW - I WILL NOT BE BACK More

I'm a car enthusiast and buy several nearly new interesting and fun cars annually just for my own enjoyment. There are very few dealerships that understand the motivation behind this and they try interesting and fun cars annually just for my own enjoyment. There are very few dealerships that understand the motivation behind this and they try to treat everyone in the same manner.... not Passport and not Kevin Mellett. I pay cash cash so I'm not interested in financing and other frills.... I just want to know what the bottom-line price is going to be and what they are thinking on my trade if I have one... online via email. I don't want to be hassled and create a scene at the dealership arguing about price.... I want to know before I go what I'm going to pay. Then, if my car is what I said it was and the dealership's vehicle is as nice as I was hoping we have a nice clean low impact to both of us deal. Very few dealers will give you even an indication of a trade-in allowance online even when everyone is clear that it is contingent on seeing the cars. I don't even go look any more if I can't get some pretty firm pricing. Kevin Mellett has worked on two deals with me so far and there will certainly be more. Passport doesn't try to hit a home run on pricing their high end trades so they are a great place to shop for nearly new cars. More
