RSS- I bought a 528ix drive from Nan Wong at Passport BMW. First and far most, Nan is the best sales person I have ever met. She was professional and personable. I have been browsing for a car for approximately one (1) year but started SERIOUSLY looking approximately two (2) months ago. I have visited if not all, close to all of the BMW dealerships in the DMV and the service was not up to par. In all fairness I have met some cool sales people but none who comes close to Nan and the staff at Passport BMW. No offense meant, but Nan's supporting cast at Passport BMW were Dave Comfort, Joe (I think he is the manager for pre-own cars), Jeff Steel (Business Manager), Leonard (Service Department) and the two ladies in the business office Dorthea and Phyllis. (My apologies if the titles or work location is incorrect). Everyone was friendly and welcomed me to the Passport and BMW ownership family. The service was so good, I felt like a celebrity. Oh, did I mention, I got an outstanding price for my car. I know my commets are long, so to sum it all up, I would refer my family, friends and a stranger to Passport BMW. We started out with the BMW dealerships close to where we live in Hampton, VA, but didn't get anywhere and pricing was always an issue. We contacted Mehrzad Ganjriz at Passport BMW through the USAA car buying service and he was very knowledgeable and accomodating. He always called or emailed, and made an excellent sugggestion about an option/package that actually saved us money. We drove up (181 miles from home) to Passport BMW, ready to order our car, Mehrzad suggested we look at 3 cars on the lot that didn't have the interior we wanted, but had pretty much everything else. He even moved the cars side by side so we could compare and see what the interior would look like. We realized the interior didn't look as good as we thought it did with the exterior we wanted. Mehrzad offered us a test drive and explained the cars features better than at the dealer we had visited at home. We were sold after the test drive and the level of customer service we experienced. There was no pressure during the transaction and we got the price our USAA service quoted. We dealt with Jeff Steele for the financial part of the transaction, and the whole process was fast, efficient, and also with great costumer service. Passport BMW is definitely the place to buy a BMW. They have a great selection and will do whatever they can to get you into the BMW of your choice at a great price. Within a few hours, I had spoken with 4 out of the 7 dealerships either through e-mail or the phone.... Mehrzad impressed me from the get go! He is extremely courteous and knows his product line! He didn't haggle with me at all.... Though he did not have the vehicle with the upgrades that my wife and I desired... he was able to find one with almost everything that we wanted. Completed most of the paperwork prior to vehicle arrival and within 3 days it was on the lot... washed and ready to go! Mehrzad gave my wife and me a very thorough brief on specifics of the vehicle and with a few more final signatures.... we were driving our new BMW home! This is the place to buy a BMW in the DC/Annapolis area. I wasted 2 weeks with Annapolis BMW trying to get a new car at the right price. When they did find an acceptable car, their reactive instead of proactive approach resulted in the car going to another dealership. The worst part is, I always had to call them to find out what was going on. When that deal fell through they could only find me a more expensive care with options I didn't want and were unwilling to lower the price. Then, I contacted Passport BMW and bought the right car at a lower price in an hour. Mehrzad was great. He was proactive and made things happen. The pricing was upfront without the standard "car salesman" games I found at Annapolis BMW. The car had just what I wanted and the price was lower. The best part was Mahrzad made phone calls to get things done instead of waiting for emails. The whole process was fast and efficient with great costumer service. My wife's sales guy, Ed Han, was still with the dealer and he made the whole process very easy. He is a professional who cuts through all the crap so you can make an informed decision. This dealer was way beyond the competition in making me feel like they wanted my business. Annamarie was very attentive and listened to all my wants and concerns when it came to buying a car. She was direct, upfront, honest and genuine throughout the entire process and didn't play the typical salemanship games.
