William McGhee Excellent Service at Passport BMW I purchased a 2016 BMW 535xi at Passport BMW under duress due to the sudden death of my 2007 BMW. Although I've consistently received excellent custom I purchased a 2016 BMW 535xi at Passport BMW under duress due to the sudden death of my 2007 BMW. Although I've consistently received excellent customer service at Passport, given the sense of urgency, I reached out to my network for contacts. I was connected with William McGhee, a client advisor at Passport, through a mutual friend. William provided excellent customer service that perfectly accommodated my busy schedule and buying style. Two phone conversations and one late Saturday afternoon test drive led to my purchase. William was extremely professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, respectful, and patient -- throughout the process. At no time did I feel pressured to make a decision to purchase or buy another vehicle. William accommodated all of my requests and answered all questions. I love my BMW 535xi and the unforgettable service provided by William McGhee. If you are in the market for a new BMW or a pre-owned car, I strongly recommend my Passport BMW Client Advisor, William McGhee. If you are a busy professional, you'll also love Passport BMW's valet service. Thanks for everything, William. More
Fantastic Sales! Passport BMW is great! I worked with Ian Lawyer who was able to answer my questions and concerns regarding my BMW trade in for a newer BMW. Jeff Steel Passport BMW is great! I worked with Ian Lawyer who was able to answer my questions and concerns regarding my BMW trade in for a newer BMW. Jeff Steel in finance was able to explain the financing and warranty options we wanted. There were no tricks or lies and both were up front with helping us make the trade. My car was on the showroom floor so 5 cars had to be moved in order to get mine outside! We also met the GM who made us laugh with some great stories. Customer service was outstanding! More
Don't waste your time here I leased a BMW and someone was buying a used Audi at this BMW dealer at the same time I was there. This used Audi was in the showroom with a giant bow on it and the BMW i was getting is parked in the garage?!?! I did most of the paperwork online but was never even offered a test drive before filling out the paperwork. They poly waxed a dirty car; they said they had their best detailer clean it, but there was dirt all over it. And the smell inside the car was sickening. What a mess. I was so embarrassed for them. The sales person kept telling me over and over how to fill out the survey for his 'stellar performance'; what a joke. More
This Collision Center does not guarantee quality **VIEW MY VIDEO BEFORE YOU HAVE WORK DONE AT PASSPORT COLLISION CENTER ** google search “passport collision barrett b youtube” Had very poor coll **VIEW MY VIDEO BEFORE YOU HAVE WORK DONE AT PASSPORT COLLISION CENTER ** google search “passport collision barrett b youtube” Had very poor collision work done at Passport Collision Center - supposedly Nissan Certified Autobody shop. Several locations of paint overspray were left, multiple dents were left, rubber door seals were mangled and not replaced and, tape seams for paint were visible to the eye and have begun peeling. Mud flap did not form to body, because body work was not formed to specifications and parts were reused that were stated to have been replaced in the detailed billing. Major bodywork mistake: Incorrect body work caused misaligned doors and accessories not to fit correctly. The body was never fixed to specification prior to painting. Door still hits metal every time it closes, 1/2" gap in interior celling trim. New NISSAN Certified shop in MN (Autoworks Collision of Wayzata) estimate additional $7,200 to rework/fix Passport Collision Center’s mistakes. Passport has been unwilling to work with other shop and help pay for rework. Passport Collision Center is not capable of repairing vehicles to manufacturer specifications. Shop also causes major delays and extremely difficult to get a hold of during and after repairs. Were never given the real story from staff and were consistently provided false information. More
bunch of liars I saw an ad for a BMW on the internet on December 2nd. This car had no photos posted so I made an inquiry about the car online and later on JC the man I saw an ad for a BMW on the internet on December 2nd. This car had no photos posted so I made an inquiry about the car online and later on JC the manager called me and told me this car is being inspected and getting ready for showroom. He said he will call me as soon as this car is ready so I can go take a test drive. He never did( what was I thinking? Honesty!!!). This morning on December 4th someone from the dealership called and said it is sold. The dirty game all af the dealers play and this one is on top of my "never go there" list. Terrible experience. Satisfied new BMW owner November 2015 - I took delivery of a new 2016 X5 and my experience at Passport was excellent. This is my first BMW, which I ordered from the factory, and I love it. I worked with Aarion Browne and in addition my wife and I met Joe Long, David Comfort, Jeff Steel, and J.C. Thomas. Each was very professional, polite, attentive, and each genuinely listened to any of my concerns and questions. Though no fault of Passport, my vehicle had minor delivery damage which was repaired to brand new quality and fixed to my satisfaction. I was assured Passport BMW will stand behind their workmanship. Thank you - Evan. More
Run away I bought a used car from Passport with the remainder of the factory warranty. They sold the car to me stating there were no accidents. It turns out th I bought a used car from Passport with the remainder of the factory warranty. They sold the car to me stating there were no accidents. It turns out there was extensive bodywork done to the car that is now falling apart. They are telling me they are not responsible. Time for lawyers to get involved. Stay away from this dealership. Jeff Steel is DISHONEST - STAY AWAY Jeff Steel is a finance manager that is very disrespectful and dishonest. He will lie to your face and get an attitude as if you are the one lying. I Jeff Steel is a finance manager that is very disrespectful and dishonest. He will lie to your face and get an attitude as if you are the one lying. I would stay away from Passport BMW until they realize how unethical Jeff is and take appropriate action to terminate his employment. Do not buy anything from Jeff and if possible just skip Passport all together. There are plenty of good people out there to deal with, no need to go through the same pain as I did with Jeff and Passport. More
Failed state inspection. Skipping important service items. The review is of the SERVICE. Sales experience was great and I consider coming back. The service has deteriorated significantly over 6 years. I was extremely disappointed this summer. This is why I decided to write this review. Here are my latest experiences with the PASSPORT BMW Service: 1. Safety issues introduced after a job done on my car. Safety inspection failed next day! Issue was fixed after I came back. At the same time, an apparent steering whleel issue was not fixed since they were not able to diagnose it after 2 attempts… . As a result I had to go back to another dealer and fix it. 2. Alternative shop recommended to replace both (2) vanos solenoids. I requested to do the job which was promised. After I looked at my job summary upon return home, only one vanos solenoid was replaced. As a result I will have to pay deductible twice and waiste my time again to fix it ! 3. Denied servicing my car under maintenance. Denied changing oil after about 14,000miles and after 1 year. Denied to accept in writing that they carry all responsibility and liable for safety of the car resulting from their denial. ! I had to take a loaner and after 2 days learn they will do nothing !!!! Double time spent with no reason!! 4. Bite and switch. Upsell . recommendations NOT based on your specific needs : 2 years ago I was persuaded that based on may specific “car needs” I have to get warranty and maintenance packages. I paid around 2K for maintenance and had 1 oil change and 2 sets of wipers. Since now oil change is running $74 I lost around 2K altogether !!! NEVER buy maintenance- it is worh nothing! More
Don't drive too far After discussing a Certified BMW with the salesman, I drove 120 miles to test drive it. Should have asked if they will negotiate on prices. Car seem After discussing a Certified BMW with the salesman, I drove 120 miles to test drive it. Should have asked if they will negotiate on prices. Car seemed okay but the salesman said all prices are non-negotiable (which I don't believe is accurate). I think he figured he could drill me since I'd driven so far to see the car and would be invested in it. I walked away, More
