Typically you get your NEW plates within a month after purchasing a car. The temporary plates expire about a month after you buy your car as well. That is suppose to be enough time to get your new plates, and if you still had a balance from your previous auto loan, the dealership will send out a payment to buy the loan and transfer the difference to the current auto loan that you get approved for. In my case, it is now June 26, 2023, and I have not received my plates yet. They have not sent out a check to buy out my previous auto loan, so now it looks like I have two auto loans to pay back, I am now driving with an expired temporary license plate that expired May 14, 2023. I HAVE BEEN CALLING NON STOP TO TRY TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE. I do not live close to this dealership and its pretty far out of my way, however my husband went there to see what's going on and are using every excuse in the book as to why every issue I'm having is delayed. "The loan hasn't been paid off because FedEx lost the check in the mail to pay off the loan... .... they lost it TWICE... that's pretty bizarre. and a load of xxxxxxxx... As for my plates,... NO ONE has a clue whether if I should pick it up or have them mail it to me. I am about to sue if things do not get resolved in the next week or two. I have never had this experience before in any dealership. I am so stressed out with this and this is NOT worth the stress. And who is most full of xxxx here in this company is Eli. He is the one who sold me the car and acts like he is there to help me through these problems I'm having but doesn't really give a xxxx because nothing has been done about it even though he said he is working on it.... it's been 2 and a half months !!! This company is full of xxxx. Just overall, STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!! More
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! !! Advertised price is much lower than what they are willing to sell for-- just to get you in the door. I bought a car anyway because I was in a bind. !! Advertised price is much lower than what they are willing to sell for-- just to get you in the door. I bought a car anyway because I was in a bind. It's been over two months and they never gave me the title, plates, inspection, etc. and the temporary plate expired a month ago. They keep blaming it on the DMV but DMV would not have the title! I'm wondering if the car was stolen! More
Horrible! Misleading! Dishonest! Stay away from this dealership. Not trustworthy. They will talk you into writing a good review for them before you even walk o Misleading! Dishonest! Stay away from this dealership. Not trustworthy. They will talk you into writing a good review for them before you even walk off the lot with the car. Soon after you realize the deal was a scam and you're stuck with a car with a ton of problems. They then avoid your phone calls and are not willing to address any. If I could give zero stars I would. Called up a bunch of times about a car that was 33,000 I asked about fees specifically and was told it would be around $1200. And I was told I would get $3000 off cause of a new years sale. I drive an hou asked about fees specifically and was told it would be around $1200. And I was told I would get $3000 off cause of a new years sale. I drive an hour and a half to come pick up the car and the fees are $9700. Total scam. What's even worse is they kept saying just come in after i specifically asked about the fees and told them multiple times that I'm an hour and a half away More
Misleading and dishonest! ! the price listed is NOT the sale price, they wait till ready to sign and tacked on 12% ($4k!) to the advertised sale price of the vehicle. stating ! the price listed is NOT the sale price, they wait till ready to sign and tacked on 12% ($4k!) to the advertised sale price of the vehicle. stating the advertised sale price is their cost! Total BS! I been in the auto sales/repair business for 25 years, never have I seen business dealings like this. the finance manager thinks he owns the joint, wouldn’t let me talk till he finished his lines of BS! Totally took advantage of my son buying his first car, if was up to me I would of walked out. To boot they said they would fill the tank guess less than 1/2 tank is full to them. Worst Stealership experience ever! You’ve been warned. More
SHOP ELSEWHERE. This is a low quality excuse for a dealership. The general manager, "Eddie," treated my parents and myself in a very unprofessional manner. Our or This is a low quality excuse for a dealership. The general manager, "Eddie," treated my parents and myself in a very unprofessional manner. Our original car we had purchased was a 2017 Hyundai Elantra, which turned out to be a lemon. Within 30 miles of driving away, the check engine light had come on, along with low tire pressure sensor. Parkwood Auto Mall was notified, and it turned into a back and forth issue where nothing was resolved. No loaner was given out or anything. Since we kept insisting, they sent the car to an actual Hyundai dealership, where we were advised it needed a new engine. Eddie at Parkwood then said, "let me see what kinda car I can get you into." One of his best sayings to me started getting old: "Hold on. I'm trying to do 5 things at once. I'm very busy." The next and only vehicle he presented me with was a 2016 Mazda3. He promised they would install Apple CarPlay to my radio which never happened, plus a few days into getting this car, the tire pressure light came on. I checked all tires, and they were all okay. Must be a tire pressure sensor issue on THIS vehicle as well. Parkwood Auto Mall and the G.M. Eddie then decided to blame me for an issue with the bank where the bank refused to fund the loan, instead of working with us on making it right. I also kept getting phone calls from the Hyundai dealership stating that Parkwood had not picked up the first vehicle from their lot yet. I had spoken with Eddie on multiple occasions advising him, and have texts proving he acknowledged me, stating that it would get done. It never did until the very last day when I also returned the Mazda after purchasing a 2019 Hyundai Kona from a way better and more reputable dealership. Now, we are still having issues because Parkwood Auto Mall has NOT sent whatever they need to the bank, and we are getting bills for two vehicles that we do not own, causing my mom to be beyond stressed. Please save yourself the trouble and pains, and shop elsewhere . I will be posting reviews everywhere possible until they rectify these issues that THEY caused and refuse to fix. Oh, and hope you mail me my ezpass from the first vehicle. Thanks. Don't get me started on this topic. More
