Best Service Experience Ever I had the pleasure of working with Jeff to repair my 2016 Honda Accord Touring. Jeff went above and beyond in assisting and making the experience exc I had the pleasure of working with Jeff to repair my 2016 Honda Accord Touring. Jeff went above and beyond in assisting and making the experience excellent. I had a repair for my front 2 tires, LED assembly replacement, Oil change, a recall notice for a software upgrade for my fuel pump and a Mass State inspection. Due to the extent of the repairs, I had to rent a car for the day through the dealership. Jeff went above and beyond by making claims to my extended warranty and managed to cover, the oil change, led assembly replacement, tires and even the car rental. The only thing I had to cover was the State Inspection. It goes to show, I can go anywhere to buy a car, but it's the service that Prime Honda provides that keeps me coming back. As expected..... I have avoided dealerships from the day I bought my car. The experience from the sale was so horrible I never wanted to go back (this was not Prime H I have avoided dealerships from the day I bought my car. The experience from the sale was so horrible I never wanted to go back (this was not Prime Honda). I have successfully avoided dealerships opting for local mechanic until now. I chose a dealership given the issue at hand - check engine light on and also needed inspection. $1100 later and my car still has a rejection sticker for the inspection. I am positive I can pay $35 (again) at a local gas station and leave with an inspection sticker ca paying the additional $400 that Prine “recommends” I do to get my sticker. I was given an original quote around $650 to fix my check engine light. I got the dreaded (and unfortunately expected) “ut oh....we found a problem once we started the repair... if we do it now it will be $350 if we do it later it will be $550......” i was given a discount only after complaining that I was being charge the full labor rate given my engine was after opened up. Strangely, my local mechanic never seems to have surprise $400 dollar additional “ut oh’s”. Every time I go to a dealership I feel used. With all of the above, the gentleman I worked with was pleasant and better than most. Uber to and from train (free of charge) was appreciated and much better than a single shuttle type service. I had to pick either yes or no on recommendation so while I personally will avoid a dealership until I’m forced to get a new car again, if asked, Prime Honda was better than where I purchased my car (Boch). I will never step foot in that dealership again. Given service is where the $ is made for a dealership,I hate that I always walk out feeling trapped into paying for more than is truly necessary. Even though I already paid $35 towards the inspection (to get the rejected sticker), my choice is pay $400 more at Prime for recommended repairs or pay $35 (again) at a different place and see if my car passes. I’m guessing the latter. If I’m wrong... I happily update this to say I was. However I would bet, it will pass. More
