My review is not about the purchase, but rather my first service experience. I brought my new CRV in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Even though I didn't have an appointment, I was led to believe service experience. I brought my new CRV in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Even though I didn't have an appointment, I was led to believe it wouldn't take long - after all the service bay was labeled "express". Over two hours later, my car was ready. I was told it had been washed and vacuumed. It may have had some water sprayed over it but it definitely was not washed nor was it vacumed at all. All in all, a poor first experience with the service department. I question the value of the service contracts. You might want to carefully consider them. More

I was looking for a Honda Element... which are for some odd reason hard to find these days. Anyway after inquiring after a car on their internet site, and speaking to April who stated that the car in ques odd reason hard to find these days. Having already made a similar deal with Bernardi Honda, who had promised to find me a car, but after 2 weeks could not find the car and returned my deposit graciously. Anyway, I went through the chit chat with Mike and had them lookand got an offer, which was about $300 more than Bernardi, I accepted (as hey, they had the car). So, that's when they told me they'd find the car in a week. The car I had inquired about was sold already. (And in fact, they said they had "traded for it" so that means it always had a deposit on it.) The proceeded to explain how good a deal they were giving me, bad mouthing Bernardi who they said was acting in bad faith, and then promise me they really could find me a car. Although I gave them several opportunities to explain April's untrue statement to me, they never explained, or gave me any reason to trust them other than "If you knew me". Well, the only thing I know about Prime Honda at that point was that they were happy by accident or policy to lie to me to get me to come into their dealership. Although they appealed to the logic that "why would they want to waste their time", it was clear to me they had no trouble wasting mine. More

I had a very good experience buying my new Pilot at Prime Honda dealership/West Roxbury, Mass, mainly because of the person who was helping me all the way through, Gus Borges. The entire car buying experience was very smooth. I never felt pressured and everyone I met was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere at the dealer is relaxed and friendly. I bought a 2010 Honda Accord from Prime for several reasons. I contacted several dealers through the Internet and immediately heard from Frank Gallagher in a detailed email listing my options, with fo reasons. April spent time going over pricing and specifics about the car and offered a good price. I did not feel pressured. I got to the price I felt happy with and set up an appointment to meet with Frank. When we arrived at the showroom, Frank introduced us to Steven Lander who had me drive the exact car I wanted and completed the sale. He was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable and made the process go very smoothly. The overall impression of Prime is that it is a company that values its customers' experiences and wants to make the process as easy as possible. More
