Well, I initially found Prime dealership through the internet and the reviews that I read online. I must say my experience was the best that I have had in purchasing a new car. There was a lot of laughs and although the process can become lengthy in purchasing a new car, they made sure to expedite the paperwork and all of the additional accessories were added very quickly. Andrew Fenno was my initial Sales Rep.He was a straight shooter which I loved working with. Very knowledgeable about his profession which is always nice.I told Andrew that I would leave a thorough review, good businesses should be recognized for their efforts. I have to thank Wes as well negotiating a final deal was never so entertaining;I'm in sales and usually its the most uncomfortable part of the deal. So in short, thanks guys I really do appreciate your work in getting this deal done. The life time power train warranty is pretty sweet too. Prime Honda impressed me so much that I returned last weekend to purchase a 2010 Honda Pilot from Peter Zois. Peter and Bob Blacker (Sales Manager) offered me a great deal including a fair trade-in offer. The entire sales experience was pleasant and comfortable. (No hard sell tactics were employed that I received at other dealerships.) My review is not about the purchase, but rather my first service experience. I brought my new CRV in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Even though I didn't have an appointment, I was led to believe service experience. I brought my new CRV in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. Even though I didn't have an appointment, I was led to believe it wouldn't take long - after all the service bay was labeled "express". Over two hours later, my car was ready. I was told it had been washed and vacuumed. It may have had some water sprayed over it but it definitely was not washed nor was it vacumed at all. All in all, a poor first experience with the service department. I question the value of the service contracts. You might want to carefully consider them. More
I was looking for a Honda Element... which are for some odd reason hard to find these days. Anyway after inquiring after a car on their internet site, and speaking to April who stated that the car in ques odd reason hard to find these days. Anyway after inquiring after a car on their internet site, and speaking to April who stated that the car in question did not have a deposit on it, I came 30 miles from my house to make a deal. Having already made a similar deal with Bernardi Honda, who had promised to find me a car, but after 2 weeks could not find the car and returned my deposit graciously. Anyway, I went through the chit chat with Mike and had them lookand got an offer, which was about $300 more than Bernardi, I accepted (as hey, they had the car). So, that's when they told me they'd find the car in a week. The car I had inquired about was sold already. (And in fact, they said they had "traded for it" so that means it always had a deposit on it.) The proceeded to explain how good a deal they were giving me, bad mouthing Bernardi who they said was acting in bad faith, and then promise me they really could find me a car. Although I gave them several opportunities to explain April's untrue statement to me, they never explained, or gave me any reason to trust them other than "If you knew me". Well, the only thing I know about Prime Honda at that point was that they were happy by accident or policy to lie to me to get me to come into their dealership. Although they appealed to the logic that "why would they want to waste their time", it was clear to me they had no trouble wasting mine. More
