They put an alluring ad on the website, but when I called them they were not able to give me complete information, and the person I talked to forgot to tell me they have an online pre-approval application al them they were not able to give me complete information, and the person I talked to forgot to tell me they have an online pre-approval application although I told him several times that I am 3 =hrs way to them. Also when you call and leave a voice mail to follow up your business no one gives you a call back. In brief, they played with me one week and on next Friday they told me that their business manager had already told me on "Tuesday" that they cant make it, but the fact is when I talked to the business manager on Tuesday he asked me to call back again after 15 minutes to give him info about similar cases so he could find a solution but he was not there, so I left him a voice mail, which was never responded! Bottom line, I drove 3 hrs from my place to this dealership to get a car. I wasted my time with them. My friends & I bought a car for my friends with similar situation to mine, a week before from another dealership and there was no problem, but it seems that these guys do not know how to handle cases beyond a simple straightforward situation. I bought a used Honda Fit at Prime Honda in 12/09. The sales person was Gus Borges. Gus was friendly, courteous, and well informed about the vehicle. We came in to buy a new car, a used car & with the help of our salesperson Lillian Mcdaniel she helped us figure the right deal for us. We both have a feeling that Prime will be different that they will be there if we have any questions in the future, our experience working with Lillian Mcdaniel showed us that all dealerships are not the same, that some do care after the transaction has been completed. I was a little apprehensive when I went in to Prime Honda but as soon as I met Lillian McDaniels, I felt at ease. I told her I was trying to decide between a Honda Accord and a Toyota Camry. I knew there w but as soon as I met Lillian McDaniels, I felt at ease. I told her I was trying to decide between a Honda Accord and a Toyota Camry. I knew there was something unusual about this dealership as soon as she told me she would set up a test drive for me on BOTH cars. Prime also has a Toyota dealership next door. She kept to her word. I went in for a test drive in the Accord and, when we were finished, she walked me over to the Toyota dealership and handed me off to Patrick, a Toyota salesman. I had done a lot of internet research and had been into 4 other dealerships and I found that no other salesperson knew their products as well as Patrick and Lillian. I even tried to stump them with questions that got different answers from other dealerships and they knew the correct answers without hesitation. I liked both cars but I decided on the Accord for 2 reasons: (1) the rear seats on the Camry XLE with leather seats do not fold down. They only have a pass-through; and (2) I have been driving Camrys since 1988 and it was time for a change. I also felt that the Accord had a more luxurious and solid feel. I also liked the fact that the Accord only has trim levels and not individual accessories to select. It made comparison shopping much easier. Back to Lillian … She is the most knowledgeable and pleasant car salesperson I have ever met. She is the exact opposite of the stereo-typical car salesman. She was friendly, knowledgeable and, to my surprise, extremely truthful. Another thing I found unusual is at Prime, they value your trade-in separate from the vehicle you are buying. So, whether I was buying the Camry, Accord or any other vehicle at Prime, my trade was worth the same amount. They do not try to confuse you by combining the trade value with the discount of the sticker price. After the normal, non-pressured negotiations with the sales manager, Bobby Blacker on 12/29/09, I wound up getting the car for the exact price I expected. This was the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. I could not recommend them more. More
