My experience here was great. A brother of mine owned 2 vehicles purchased from Prime Honda and my previous Honda was leased through the previous ownership and was due to mature in January 2010. If it weren't for the great price of the car I would have walked away on more than one occasion. No one seemed to know what was going on. This was the most painful car purchase I have ever made. People wouldn't call me back, I ended up having to take the car back to get fixed, and I'm still waiting for the free GPS I was promised (nearly a month ago). Not to mention that I never got the free gas voucher I was promised either. They were also supposed to have a check ready for me when I picked up my car (for the last payment on my lease) and they didn't which meant that I paid the payment late. They told me they would write a check for the late fee and that never happened either. The only plus side was that the car was a great price. Otherwise, I never would have bought it from Prime. When I originally posted the above message a manager, Bobby, got back to me immediately. He apologized profusely and quickly got me the GPS and filled my tank. He even offered to detail my car at the end of the winter. My interactions with him, and with Wes on a previous occasion were very helpful. Bobby told me that there was no excuse for what happened, that it was a busy time and communication failed. I thanked him for his help, and am very appreciative that he attempted to take care of the problem once he was aware of it. I'm going to chalk this up to failed communication on their part, and I appreciate his endeavors to fix the problem. More
The reason I chose Prime Honda in West Roxbury MA is because it is located in my neighborhood. I was very impressed with Ms. Lillian McDaniel. She showed experience in car sales and was very knowledgeable with the Honda line of automobiles. She took me on a test drive and explained in details all the features the new CR-V provided. My main concerns in vehicles are safety, comfort and reliability. Our negotiations were more or less what I expected and we agreed on a figure that I felt comfortable with. Ms. McDaniel is an asset to Prime Honda. She is a professional, warm and friendly. I would definitely recommend her to all my friends and acquaintances should they be interested in purchasing a new vehicle. I wish her tons of success in this new year and for many years to come. They put an alluring ad on the website, but when I called them they were not able to give me complete information, and the person I talked to forgot to tell me they have an online pre-approval application al them they were not able to give me complete information, and the person I talked to forgot to tell me they have an online pre-approval application although I told him several times that I am 3 =hrs way to them. Also when you call and leave a voice mail to follow up your business no one gives you a call back. In brief, they played with me one week and on next Friday they told me that their business manager had already told me on "Tuesday" that they cant make it, but the fact is when I talked to the business manager on Tuesday he asked me to call back again after 15 minutes to give him info about similar cases so he could find a solution but he was not there, so I left him a voice mail, which was never responded! Bottom line, I drove 3 hrs from my place to this dealership to get a car. I wasted my time with them. My friends & I bought a car for my friends with similar situation to mine, a week before from another dealership and there was no problem, but it seems that these guys do not know how to handle cases beyond a simple straightforward situation. I bought a used Honda Fit at Prime Honda in 12/09. The sales person was Gus Borges. Gus was friendly, courteous, and well informed about the vehicle. Folks in maintenence and accessories were great too! I am very happy about my decision to purchase my car from Prime Honda, and would reccomend the dealership and Gus to others who are considering buying a car! More

We came in to buy a new car, a used car & with the help of our salesperson Lillian Mcdaniel she helped us figure the right deal for us. In the past when we have bought a new vehicle the sales help were tremendous falling over backwards to help us, once the deal went through and we walked out the door that helpfulness dissapeared. We both have a feeling that Prime will be different that they will be there if we have any questions in the future, our experience working with Lillian Mcdaniel showed us that all dealerships are not the same, that some do care after the transaction has been completed.
