I was dreading having to go through the whole process of buying a car and dealing with "sharks". My boyfriend told me "Go to Prime in West Roxbury, they are a really different kind of dealership." He was right! From the moment I walked into the bright cheery dealership and was greeted by Danielle Hagen, to the moment I walked out with my new Honda CR-V's keys, I had a great car buying experience! I mean, EVERYONE was friendly! I may have had to wait a little longer than I wanted for approval, but Matt the financing manager wanted to ensure that I was getting the best possible APR rate and best deal; let me tell you, the wait was definatley worth it! So, even if you don't have "perfect" credit, know that if you buy a car from Danielle and her team you will get hands-down the best deal and best car-buying experience you could EVER bargain for! Bottom line- My experience with Danielle of Prime Honda of West Roxbury- Priceless! More
My experience with Prime Honda was excellent. In the past I have always shopped for new cars with my husband. It seemed that at other dealerships I needed to do this to get "the best deal". At Prime Honda it I have always shopped for new cars with my husband. It seemed that at other dealerships I needed to do this to get "the best deal". At Prime Honda its not that way at all. Whether my husband was there or not I got the same respect and excellent service. I got a great new Honda Insight at a great price. The whole experience was actually fun. The crew at Prime is upbeat, friendly and extremely helpful. I dealt with Peter Zois and Reidar Davies. They were both great. It seemed that the sale wasn't as important to them as making sure I was happy with my new vehicle. I will definitely buy my next car there and highly recommend Prime Honda to everyone. Thanks Prime, I will be back. More
I went to Prime Honda with my daughter to buy her a new CRV. I dealt with Steve Roach and Reidar Davies. Steve Roach was great. A very personable guy with a no nonsense approach. He listened and helped us with what we NEEDED rather then just trying to sell. He was also very knowlegable about the products he was representing. Reidar Davies was unbelievable. He was Steve’s manager and when he came over to work with us, we NEVER got that “high pressure” feeling like it was us against them. There was no pressure at all and he was clearly there to help us make the right decisions. This guy can “make it happen” and he seems to get a thrill out of making the customer happy. That’s pretty rare. The dealership is also very clean, organized and has a very fun and festive atmosphere. You get upbeat “tunes” and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies rather then elevator music and stale vending machine crackers. My experience at other dealerships in the past was the reason I chose to go with my daughter. I figured I could help fight off the sometimes over zealous sales people (that won’t take no for an answer) and it would be her best chance to get a fair deal. After my experience at Prime Honda with Reidar and Steve I can honestly say that it didn’t matter if I was there or not. She was going to get the same respect and great deal with or without me. More

I did a lot of my research online for deals and had narrowed it down to two cars. An Accord or a CR-V. I then went to a dealership near my home stating that I only wanted to test drive both cars. After test driving I got the traditional sales pressure run-around to talk about pricing and 3 hours later, without a deal, left dreading the process of having to buy/lease a car. I made an online request for a quote with Prime and instantly received a wonderful leasing price and the e-mail included all the details of what would be included at signing etc. I went to the dealership, still dreading the process, and met with Peter. I was very impressed with the showroom. It was clean, had every model available to see, and other than the music being a little too loud for my taste, was very comfortable. Peter was very welcoming, talked to me about the lease deal I was quoted and there was no pressure to sell me anything other that what I was interested in. I had to ask very few questions, because he gave me all the details before I asked. I had a couple of issues crop up with financing and Peter worked with the finance office to work out what would be in my best interest. The only other "problem" I had was that Prime had such a good lease deal going on for the model I was looking at that the colors that were available just the day before had been sold that morning before I got the there. I came back the following Monday to sign and the experience was just as nice. I was introduced to the Service Manager, and everything was taken care of for me. The registration, sticker, gas etc. My trade-in was 13 yrs old so things weren't that way when I purchased that car. I'm now driving a 2010 CR-V LX, Glacier Blue and love it. Kenny showed us the inventory, described the vehicle options and advantages of ownership for each vehicle we chose. Proving not only to be very profesional and knowledgeble but quite personable, pleasant and cooperative, very engaging. I highly recommend Mr Kenny Banks as a sales represenative, and this dealership to friends and family. More
I was looking at Accord LX Premium and EX and I called up Lillian McDaniel about some questions I had. She said that she could answer my questions if I came over. I was not sure why she couldn’t answer the q Lillian McDaniel about some questions I had. She said that she could answer my questions if I came over. I was not sure why she couldn’t answer the questions over the phone. Anyway, in spite of having fixed up an appointment for the next morning, I got one email and three phone calls, asking me if I was coming over. When I did visit them, she was able to answer most of the questions and asked if I would like a price quote, adding that she could not give me the price without my credit application (the only dealership that I visited, to have said this). I said that I needed more time to evaluate my options and did not need to know the price right away. I said I would call her up if I decided on the car and got up to go. Then she called Wes, who immediately got started off on his high pressure sales tactics. He had no clue of my earlier discussion with Lillian and he was bluntly trying to close the sale. He did not even go into the details of the accessories that I was looking at. Their reason – I could negotiate only on the price of the car and not on the accessories. He wanted me to commit to the invoice price without even mentioning what it was. When he did mention the invoice price, there was a $ 2500 difference (higher) between what he said and what Lillian had said just a few minutes ago. When I pointed this out, the only response from them was an embarrassed and helpless smile. When I am paying for both the car and the accessories and I would like to know what is the total amount that I would be spending. I asked him to give me this figure first, if he wanted me to decide. He asked me in a sarcastic tone as to, why I had come there if I was not ready to buy a car that day. I reminded him that it was Lillian who made me drive 30 miles, instead of answering my questions over a 15 minute phone call. I told him that he should have checked the facts with Lillian before launching off into his buy-this-today gig. And of course, I told him he was being very rude and unprofessional. Then all of a sudden, he got laryngitis – Yes ! He told me that he was not trying to be rude but his voice sounded harsh because he had problems with his throat. If he really thought I believed him, there cannot be a dumber salesman. In fact any sales man, who says “buy the car now, we’ll figure out the accessory pricing later”, needs a lot of training. I called Prime Honda purely based on what I read on dealer rater. But it was the worst dealership that I’d visited. No courtesy, no communication and two people give you prices which are different by $ 2500 – within 5 minutes. As if this was not enough, Lillian said they also have a Toyota dealership next door if I was interested. (I did get in touch with prime Toyota as well later on, but that was another ridiculous conversation, not even worth wasting time on the details). More

I discussed buying a new Civic with Peter Zois who was wonderful to deal with. He is a perfect gentleman with a respectful and easy going manner. Buying a vehicle can be overwhelming and stressful but Peter patiently discussed availability and price and we worked out a deal enabling us to buy the car we wanted with the excitement of driving away without any stress. The Manager Wes was professional and very courteous as was Matt when he arranged a fair loan rate spending time to get us close to the rate we wanted. This was my Stepdaughter's first new car and she was so intimidated she didn't want to go to a dealer. Now she has the car she wanted and is very happy. The dealership is very clean and the staff efficient. We really enjoyed the coffee and hot chocolate cookies while we waited! We feel very comfortable going back to Prime Honda for our vehicles' servicing also. More
Peter was great to work with. He was very helpful, and this was the only car dealership I felt comfortable dealing with. This was my first car buying experience and it was a great one!
