I have purchased several cars over the years and I don't think I have ever had an experience like this one. First I called a few dealerships and shopped around for the right Civic. I knew how much I could spend and after I checked out 3-4 places, I found out what kind of car I could get for what I wanted to spend. Just by phoning car stores, I noticed Prime Honda had a nice approach to customer service. Boch was terrible and they had me close to tears by the time I left...They told me one thing on the phone and it completely changed by the time I got there. I went to a place in Weymouth and when I got there, I felt like I had gone back in time 25 years, "what can we do to put this together...If I could get you the color, will you buy it right now" I had to actually ask for a test drive...They kept asking me how much I had to put down and what payment I wanted but never asked me about the stuff I wanted in the car and I basically had to extract the stuff that was important to me. Clearly, this was all about them and all I could think was...UGH! not this again! Just when I was about to give up and put my Dad in charge of going to negotiate because he is an old pro, I visited Prime Honda and had the pleasure of working with this awesome crew of people. I got a car I love and can afford and now me and my soon to be newborn have a great new car that is safe and great on gas. I will never buy anywhere else and the greatest bonus, I have a lifetime warranty on the engine. I met some nice people in service already and they even set all my radio stations that I had in my old car into my civic. Thank you Stan Dickie, I already added my cousin Leyla to the Prime referral club and I am looking forward to getting my $100 bucks! you guys are the best and I will tell anyone that will listen how great you all were and how much you help me. More

I just bought a used 2010 Ford Fusion SEL from them. I have bad anxiety when having to buy new "used" cars. This was easy. Johny Bat and Steve took good care of me. They understood my price point, what I wanted, and did not try to get me to buy new. I told them what I was there to look at, and they let me do that. After giving them my budget, they worked the numbers to the point where I was excited about my purchase. It was cleaned up, and ready to go 3 hours later. I have no regret about my decision whatsoever. I even recieved a call to get my registration and sticker immediately after purchasing as I bought on a Saturday. For the first time ever, I feel like I was treated well, and I will return to buy my next car. Highly recommend them! More

After an initial misunderstanding regarding how Prime values trades, Prime met and exceeded our expectations for new-car buying. Prime's staff demonstrated that they were willing to resolve our concerns, values trades, Prime met and exceeded our expectations for new-car buying. Prime's staff demonstrated that they were willing to resolve our concerns, and did so in a straightforward, professional manner. We bought a new CR-V at what we think is a very fair price and got a very fair price on our trade-in vehicle. There were no hard-sale tactics and no pressure, even when it came time to consider extended warranties and other options. I have no problem recommending Prime to other potential buyers, and will use Prime for servicing our new CR-V. Even though this was our first purchase at Prime, Prime treated us as if we were long-term loyal customers, and we appreciate that. More

Once I had agreed to the purchase with Christian, I had to wait for over an hour to sit down with the business manager(from 8:30 - 9:40pm). They did give me a $100 coupon for the wait, but I didn't use it despite buying the GAP insurance. I should have realized that I could have used the $100 off for GAP insurance, but I assumed I couldn't. That was my fault, but Cos could have clued me in; I doubt it would have taken any money out of his pocket if I used the coupon. The other problem was when I went in to pick up the registration and get my inspection done. I bought the car on Thursday night, and Christian put in the registration for Friday. I got a call on Monday morning asking when I could come in to take care of those things. I went in that day at about noon, and was told it would not be ready until probably the end of the day. I live an hour away from the dealership, and that pointless trip killed a large part of my day. I called Christian back later on and asked that they make the situation right. They credited me two free oil changes. I thought they could have done better than that, but whatever; it was something. All in all, I'm satisfied with the experience. I got a good price on the vehicle, and despite the two issues mentioned above, things could have been a lot worse. More
My experience with STEVE ROACH was extremely positive and went way beyond my expectations. I did not know Steve at all or Prime Honda at all prior to that day. 1. We went in last October wanting a g went way beyond my expectations. I did not know Steve at all or Prime Honda at all prior to that day. 1. We went in last October wanting a good deal on a 2011 Odyssey, when they were hard to track down. When we thought we wanted the Touring model for both the dvd and land nav systems, Steve explained in detail why the EX-L model with the after-market DVD was the better choice based on cost and value, which saved us +1k. He personally made sure the aftermarket installation was done right. In retrospect, he was 100% correct. The aftermarket model works great. 2. We were very specific on what model we wanted, and Steve found it and personally drove 1 hour to another dealer to get it for us so that we could close the deal at the agreed time. 3. Finally and most importantly, while my 3 kids were in the back of the van on the first 3 hour trip since we bought the car, we picked the wrong time to figure out how the DVD player worked. My wife called Steve from her mobile and he walked through with her how it worked for 20 minutes, at which point we had not yet figured out how to tie it into the bluetooth system. 30 minutes later, Steve called us back on the cell phone with the solution. He spent that 30 minutes searching the internet and figuring it out for us. He did not say he was going to do this, he just did it. 4. Negotiations were fair and straight forward. Before I had rolled into Prime Honda, I had been at a dealer down the road a couple miles. This dealer did not know multiple specific questions about the car. They were manipulative and treated me like I was an idiot, with tactics like making me sit for 5-10 minutes while the "consulted with the manager". When they came back, the only thing they had with them was a new negotiating tactic. Conversely, the negotiation with Prime was competitive, fair, and straight forward. We were happy with the end result and never felt manipulated or lied to. I whole heartedly recommend (and I have recommended multiple times already) Steve Roach and by extension Prime Honda, who were fair and went the extra mile with me on many fronts which I outlined above. I had shopped extensively online before heading into Prime Honda. They had a certified used Honda Fit on their website that I was interested in, so I emailed a request for a quote and test drive. I appreciated that their website included A LOT of photos of the car itself, since some other websites I had seen did not provide nearly as much detail about the specific car they were offering. Antonio followed up with me the next day and helped me arrange a time to come see the car. When I arrived, he introduced me to Steven Lander, my salesman. Both Steven and Antonio were friendly and welcoming. Steven was very knowledgeable about Honda Fits and was excited to talk about the car and the features during my test drive. He had a lot to say, which could have been overwhelming, but I had researched the Fit quite a bit before the test drive and what he said was consistent with what I had found online through Honda, Edmunds, and US News, so that helped ease some of my stress. ...Maybe at this point I should mention that this was my first car-buying experience. The sale itself happened really quickly -- they wouldn't budge on the price because Steven said they always list their best price (which really was a great price -- below Kelley Blue Book!), but we were able to negotiate on the interest rate for the loan to bring the payments within the range I wanted and some other little things. I dealt with Costas Tremouliaris for the financing, and he, like Steven, was straightforward, knowledgeable, and not at all pushy. Steven also called me a couple of days after the sale to follow up to see how I was liking the car, which made me feel like they were committed to customer service even after the sale itself. The car was in great shape (as advertised), I got a great interest rate on the loan, and the staff was knowledgeable without being pushy or condescending. OH YEAH, and they offer a lifetime powertrain warranty if you do your maintenance through their dealership. Overall, I am really satisfied with my first experience at Prime Honda and would recommend them to my friends and family. More
