SERVICE VISIT

After buying my new truck in 2017 for the purpose of traveling with our trailer after retirement, we found out that there is trouble with the engine, and it would cost $3000.00 to fix it. We do not qual traveling with our trailer after retirement, we found out that there is trouble with the engine, and it would cost $3000.00 to fix it. We do not qualify for any reimbursement because we are over the mileage limit. I feel this situation is unfair. We use the truck for travel purposes and believe this repair bill should be reimbursed. Hi Hanna, Thank you for your feedback. Ford has a program that they will reimburse a customer based on mileage certain % of the cam phaser repairs up to 90,000 miles. Unfortunately you have 98,000 miles so you would not qualify. I can have my service manager speak with you if you like. What would be a good number and time to reach you at?

I. Had received notice of the cam phaser program after I was already over the mileage limit,I bought my truck to pull our travel trailer. I feel that Ford was aware of this problem and Ford should accept responsibility.
