Took my car in for recall was running perfect. They messed it up. I had to pay for the tow back for them to fix it and it was their fault and I have been brushed off since then. They messed it up. When I got my car back, my shifter was tight and hard to shift and the next morning my car started stalling and failing to run. Then it developed a noise from the gas hole area. I called the dealership the day after I was there to tell them about my issues and ask if I could bring it in for them to look at. They said yes. I took it in, told them my 3 issues and left it with them. Hunter could not hear the noise from the gas area, he re-adjusted the shifter and said the check engine light read a p2196 and recommended replacing the o2 sensors for $539. I repeat. My car was fine when I took it to this dealership for recall work. I asked Tim how this could not be Ford's fault. He said nothing was related to the recall work done and it was all a coincidence (besides the shifter.) Tim said he would wave the diagnosis fees. I was never told there would be diagnosis fees. Then I see the repair estimate. $1079. $540 for diagnosing 3 issues (one of which was my shifter cable recall work AND the noise I was hearing that they DID NOT diagnose), and another $539 for the O2 Sensors. This blows my mind. You were going to charge me for not diagnosing a problem and for recall work that had to be redone. I have never been so mad about service I have had done on my car. My car is a Ford, only 10 years old, and in good running order. I bring it to a FORD DEALERSHIP for recall work and leave with a car that now needs $$$$$ worth of work done. That is some horror story you would hear from a corner chop shop. It is not supposed to be a story you hear from DEALERSHIP work. This is a nightmare. I will never bring my car anywhere near that dealership again. I'm looking over my repair estimate they gave me when I had the recall work done. They recommended I had 5 things done with an estimate of $1077. I declined the work. Then take my car home and it starts failing within hours. And guess what the estimate from that mess is? $1079. Coincidence? I got a call from Heather a few days later to see if I was satisfied with my experience. I told her everything that had happened and she was very apologetic and said she would tell the service manager. I guess he doesn't care. I have never heard from him. I did hear back from the dealership a couple weeks later saying they would take $100 off my repair estimate if I would like to bring my car in for the work they recommended. Zero Stars More
