She asks you what your must haves are and what you can live without and really sticks by that when she showed us cars. My husband and I purchased a sonata in Miami 3 yrs ago and where in desperate need to trade it in because my husband has been having trouble getting in and out the Sonata. For two yrs we've tried to trade it in but every dealership we'd go to tried to shove us into another Sonata or even worse an Elantra (which is smaller). FINALLY yesterday, I met Ivy and she was energetic, and optimistic that I would find what I was looking for and this would not be like any other time. She was right! I can't thank her enough for the patience she had with me and giving me the very best experience I've had at any dealership EVER! More

DO NOT GO THERE FOR ANYTHING!!! I dropped my vehicle 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport off for service at Parks Hyundai – Gainesville, FL for oil, air and cabin filter replacement on Apr 1 I dropped my vehicle 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport off for service at Parks Hyundai – Gainesville, FL for oil, air and cabin filter replacement on Apr 13, 2016. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, I noticed a 10” crack on my passenger side windshield. I returned to Hyundai Service to reveal the damage and I was told by the staff (Service & Parts Manager/Director) that I was liable for the crack and that they were not in fault. I am appalled that even though the pre inspection sheet listed no damage, they basically called me a liar. I approached them with respect and it was not reciprocated. I even bought the brand new car from Hyundai and had all services done there. I have several family members, coworkers and friends that are Hyundai owners in the area and around the US, and I will make sure they are not going to Parks Hyundai – Gainesville, FL for any repairs or service. Yes, I along with all other FL residents, receive one windshield per year with my full coverage insurance. I should not be criminalized in a way that I had to use my free windshield because your staff chose to imply that I was at fault. I know I did not crack my windshield. More
Over priced and took 3 weeks to repair My 2012 Veloster recently went over its warranty period. I took the car in at 102,000 for some noise and shifting issues coming from the transmission. They completed the standard computer analysis and found a sensor was bad, replaced at $360, no issues found with the transmission. Continued noise from the transmission that has no issues, 1 month later I sitting on the side of the road, headed back to the dealership on a tow truck. They called 2 days later and told be the clutch had gone out, I authorized them to repair because no one else in the county would touch this transmission. They quoted by parts for clutch and bearing of $4200.00 that's parts only. Of course they don't have the parts and I'm stuck without an option to repair. I attempt to communicate with the Service Consultant several times during the week and he's never available and will return my call, which he never does. 2nd week into the repair he calls me and says they have just put the car on the rack and found the fly wheel also needs to be replaced, $1200 more.. Of course they don't have this part either. I found the clutch and fly wheel together as a kit from Hyundai direct and it was $2200 for both. They informed me they cant purchases from this vendor because they are a wholesaler. Again several call this week trying to reach the consultant who is not available and will call be back, which he never does. Week 3 I continue to reach out to the consultant to try to determine an ETA on the repairs so that I can return my rental car. Several calls this week and I do get one returned call. 22 days and $6200 later my car is repaired. Just took it back today for an O2 sensor, another $330, so I'm only $7000 of repairs for my almost 3 year old car. More

Mr. John is wonderful and has taken care of two issues I have had in four years. He shows he cares and wants his dealership to be the best. The service department deserves all of the awards it has earned. Sam is wonderful and honest. Love my car and love the service I get! More
Resolved problem professionally Came in for an alert. Said it would take less than an hour. On camera saw no one approach my car for a full hour. Asked driver about a ride. Someone came out and said the diagnosis was "almost done". Finally saw someone approach my car. 10 min later they said they didn't have the part. I was quite upset that no one apologized. I reported my concerns here and immediately received a response from the dealership. They picked up and dropped off my car for the final repair and I've had no problem since. More

They failed to tell me that a spare tire was n I have had a horrible experience with Hyundai Parks of Gainesville since buying a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. They failed to tell me that a spare tire was not stocked in the trunk, and when a had a flat tire on the Florida Turnpike, they wanted to charge me $800 to tow my car to their dealership, plus the price of a new tire and placement of a spare in the trunk. They're claim is that most car companies do not stock a spare tire anymore, which all consumers know is nonsense. To make matters worse, their representatives lack the empathetic qualities and the drive to help that is a central tenet of customer service. They have also failed to address my contiued complaint about the care shaking when standing still, usually by dismissing my claims and stating that the car just does not do so. I would not recommend Parks Hyundai for anybody. More

Never bought a car at this dealership, but they treat me as if I'd purchased three units from them over the years. I think that fact says a lot about how a customer is supposed to be treated.Customer service is not a foreign language in this place. Well done people. Keep it up. More

The service has always been first rate, and the people (low turnover rates) have always been courteous and knowledgeable about what needed to be done on my car. I am very particular about the way I manage and maintain my cars, and by using Hyundai of Gainesville, I can rest assured that my vehicle will always be serviced properly, and with the greatest of care. I will use this dealer until such time as my confidence in them wanes. More
