They failed to tell me that a spare tire was not stocked in the trunk, and when a had a flat tire on the Florida Turnpike, they wanted to charge me $800 to tow my car to their dealership, plus the price of a new tire and placement of a spare in the trunk. They're claim is that most car companies do not stock a spare tire anymore, which all consumers know is nonsense. To make matters worse, their representatives lack the empathetic qualities and the drive to help that is a central tenet of customer service. They have also failed to address my contiued complaint about the care shaking when standing still, usually by dismissing my claims and stating that the car just does not do so. I would not recommend Parks Hyundai for anybody. More

The car is great - the dealership has some issues to address We bought a CPO Tucson. Let me start by saying I love the car. We owned a Santa Fe for years and knew we wanted another Hyundai. We did some resear We bought a CPO Tucson. Let me start by saying I love the car. We owned a Santa Fe for years and knew we wanted another Hyundai. We did some research and knew what we wanted and what we were willing to pay. The sales person was friendly, but very aggressive. She also did the whole routine of going back and forth between us and her manager to "get us the best deal". I really hate that game and it would have been a much more pleasant experience to just be up front with the pricing. Next came the loan manager. We put a large down payment on the vehicle and chose to take out a loan, solely for tax purposes. Our credit scores are great and it was no problem, but it took forever to do the paperwork. When we finally sat down with the loan mgr, he started telling us about the extra warranties. We told him no, but he kept saying he was legally obligated to tell us about all the extra warranties available. We had to say no several times before he would stop the sales pitch. Then we had to wait while he changed all the numbers on the loan documents, since we didn't buy an extra warranty. During the paperwork signing saga, he spent over 90% of the time talking with my husband, not looking at me at all. He acted extremely misogynistic the entire time, and really put me off during the sale. We were promised luggage rack cross pieces as part of the deal and were told they would be in only a couple of days later. We waited a week, with no phone call. Also, in the interim, we discovered the car had a strong cigarette smell that really came out after the car had sat in the sun. We tried to call the salesperson, who didn't return our calls. We finally got through to the manager, who told us our luggage racks were in, and he would do an ozone treatment on the car for the smell. I took the car in, waited for 2 hours for the treatment, then headed home. During the drive, there was a loud wind noise. When I got home, I looked at the rack installation instructions and the service dept had installed them backwards. I called the manager, who didn't return my calls. I finally got through to another manager. When I told him what happened, he asked me to bring the car in and they would fix the rack and fill my gas tank for me. It took me literally less than 1 minute to go through the instructions and correct the installation. If their service dept. can't install a luggage rack correctly, I have little faith they could do any major repairs. As I said, I love my Tucson, but this dealership needs some work on returning calls, reading instructions, and realizing that women aren't second class citizens. More

I received excellent service in the matters of attention to detail, knowledge of the product, cleanliness of the location, selection available, etc. I also am extremely happy with the level of care that my salesman, Scott, put into my ensuring that I left the establishment happy---I can truly say that he, the managerial and the financial staff went above and beyond in ensuring that everything was perfect. I recommend this dealership to everyone in the market for a new or used Hyundai. The only complaint I have is that there were no cookies in the lobby area, but vending machines were readily available. They were, however, fully stocked in coffee and bottled water (a great plus in my book). I can't wait to come back! More

I went to Parks Hyundai with the intention of browsing deals for a new or used car within my budget. What I received instead was unbelievably strong customer service and dedication from Brent, and the res deals for a new or used car within my budget. What I received instead was unbelievably strong customer service and dedication from Brent, and the rest of the Parks Hyundai team, in both finding the perfect car for me, and making it affordable. At the time, I had been trying to strike a careful balance between what I could afford and what I needed in a car, and had already visited several other dealerships around Gainesville. Every else I had been to treated me the same way - insisting on getting me into a specific car, with a specific price, at a specific time, and that time was always "right now" or "today". Brent treated me like a person first, not a selling point. He asked about my life, where I was coming from and where I was going, and took the value of my character into consideration before ever suggesting a specific car, let alone pricing or features. He talked to me at length for a while, making sure I was comfortable and secure in my decisions at every step of the way. When I found the car I wanted but needed to make sure I could afford it, he was more than happy to give me all of the information I needed to make my decision, and offered to see me again in the future. He didn't pressure me into doing anything I wasn't ready to do, and it was that impressive level of customer care that brought me back to Parks Hyundai to sign for the car. I am ridiculously satisfied with my new Hyundai Accent, and I owe it entirely to the professionalism, diligence, and genuine care given to me by Brent, and the rest of the staff of Parks Hyundai. Thank you, all, for making my first car experience as simple and satisfactory as possible. You can consider me a future client. More

I went in to have my Hyundai Elantra serviced. While I was there I read an email that I had received announcing that Parks Hyundai was having a big President's Day sale with up to $10,000 off select model was there I read an email that I had received announcing that Parks Hyundai was having a big President's Day sale with up to $10,000 off select models. My lease was coming due in May, so I decided to look and take advantage of the sale. John Morris was selected to assist me. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I did specifically say that I did not want to exceed a certain price range. We looked at several cars with features that met my needs. Large cargo, fuel efficient, comfortable seats, etc. I was shown a 2014 Sonata that I was very pleased with. Multiple features that would make travelling a pleasure. We were not able to agree tp the price I wanted to pay. John looked for another car and was able to find a Sonata GLS with some, but not all, of the things I liked. The price for this was still higher than I wanted to spend, but I agreed to buy the car. It was slightly larger and a bit more comfortable than the Elantra. When all was said and done I drove it home and then carefully looked the car over and compared the sticker price to my purchase price. First, I realized that some of the extras I thought I was getting with the car were not included. Big disappointment.. Next, I saw that I was paying full sticker price. What happened to the big "Presidents Day Sale"? I think that this is false advertising. I blame myself for not researching more or sleeping on my decision to buy on that day. I certainly did not need to. I guess I simply trusted that your company would be fair in their pricing. I have looked on the internet and found that same model at the Jacksonville dealership for $3000 less than I paid at Parks. Shame on me for not being careful. Shame on you for being unfair to a returning customer. More
