Very Nice, Patient, Friendly, Honest, Got a Great Deal Too! I highly recommend this dealership. I have bought two cars there and had major maintenance done there. Every person I dealt with, including Ramone, John, and Christina, for example, was very nice, patient, friendly, honest and watched over me whether I was buying a new automobile or bringing one in for maintenance. They even helped me with auto insurance issues and present values of cars that were not new and had mileage on them. On the first car I bought there, in late 2011,I got a small discount in a market where demand for the car I bought was high. On the second car I bought there in 2015, I obtained a very substantial discount!! I cannot tell you how great they all are at this dealership. You'll have to go for yourself, which I definitely recommend!! More

Wasted My Time Recently, I was on the hunt for my first car. After relentless searching, I had decided on the Hyundai Veloster. I continued to research and called de Recently, I was on the hunt for my first car. After relentless searching, I had decided on the Hyundai Veloster. I continued to research and called dealerships within a two hundred mile radius of Gainesville (where I currently live) to compare prices and promotions. Gettel Hyundai in Bradenton had the best deal by far for a brand new 2015 Veloster, but only if I bought the car by that Monday (It was Saturday). For a number of reasons, I could only buy the car on Saturday on a very tight schedule as I had to drive to Bradenton, buy the car, drive back to Gainesville and get to work by 5pm. Because I thought it was going to be too tight of a time crunch, I thought I would stop by Parks Hyundai of Gainesville to see if they would match the deal (I had a preliminary buyer's order in an email from Gettel). I gave Parks the information, and asked if they could match it. I made it clear that if they could not, that I would need to leave immediately as I needed ample time to drive to Bradenton. The sales associate assured me that they could match it, so I proceeded to sit down and wait, thinking I was saving myself four hours of driving. Ultimately, after sitting there for thirty minutes while a bunch of men angrily chatted about the deal and made me feel like a nuisance, they told me that likelier than not, the gentleman I spoke to from Gettel was lying and including rebates that I was not eligible for. The sales associate proceeded to try to convince me to stay and buy the car there for nearly $2000 more than Gettel was offering. The associate tried to make the point that it was not worth a four hour drive, only to find out I was being lied to. He kept pushing despite my refusal. I left as soon as possible and drove to Bradenton where I bought my new Veloster for the price that Gettel said they would give me in the first place. I had an incredible experience there. They got me in and out as quickly as they could. Parks Hyundai lost my business that day and I will not be recommending them. More

Over priced and took 3 weeks to repair My 2012 Veloster recently went over its warranty period. I took the car in at 102,000 for some noise and shifting issues coming from the transmission. My 2012 Veloster recently went over its warranty period. I took the car in at 102,000 for some noise and shifting issues coming from the transmission. They completed the standard computer analysis and found a sensor was bad, replaced at $360, no issues found with the transmission. Continued noise from the transmission that has no issues, 1 month later I sitting on the side of the road, headed back to the dealership on a tow truck. They called 2 days later and told be the clutch had gone out, I authorized them to repair because no one else in the county would touch this transmission. They quoted by parts for clutch and bearing of $4200.00 that's parts only. Of course they don't have the parts and I'm stuck without an option to repair. I attempt to communicate with the Service Consultant several times during the week and he's never available and will return my call, which he never does. 2nd week into the repair he calls me and says they have just put the car on the rack and found the fly wheel also needs to be replaced, $1200 more.. Of course they don't have this part either. I found the clutch and fly wheel together as a kit from Hyundai direct and it was $2200 for both. They informed me they cant purchases from this vendor because they are a wholesaler. Again several call this week trying to reach the consultant who is not available and will call be back, which he never does. Week 3 I continue to reach out to the consultant to try to determine an ETA on the repairs so that I can return my rental car. Several calls this week and I do get one returned call. 22 days and $6200 later my car is repaired. Just took it back today for an O2 sensor, another $330, so I'm only $7000 of repairs for my almost 3 year old car. More
