No Wonder People go to Jax to buy a car I would not recommend buying a car from Parks Hyundai of Gainesville. Although the sales staff was professional and demonstrated knowledge of the car I would not recommend buying a car from Parks Hyundai of Gainesville. Although the sales staff was professional and demonstrated knowledge of the car we selected, the finance manager was not professional. She was more interested in talking us into leasing a car (rather than buying a car) and up-selling things we did not want (like fabric protection and clear coat). Although we had a price for the car, the tax rate and the interest rate settled, she would not give us a figure for our monthly payment. She insisted on giving us a price range. This is so she could leave the door open to up-selling us things we did not want. In addition, the finance manager, Laurie Batten, gave us incorrect information about how to get our license plate. My husband spent eight hours trying to get this straightened out. Ms. Batten did not return our calls. I have purchased my last two vehicles in Jacksonville where there is greater competition. My next car will be purchased in Jacksonville as well. More
