My name is Brent Russell, Director of Customer Relations for Parks of Gainesville, and I have invested a substantial level of effort to deal with the concerns expressed in this review. On behalf of the entire Dealership, we are sorry you feel as though something was done that has angered you. As a result, I have offered to meet with the reviewer, agreed to address his concerns, and promised to resolve any issues that may not have been handled properly. Unfortunately, his claims of "bait and switch" are absolutely false. We sold THE car he wanted for the price Parks and the REVIEWER agreed to BEFORE he drove to our Dealership. His claim that we charged too much tax is in error - we have correspondence from the State of Florida stating we charged the appropriate fees. We use a FULL-Disclosure statement in our business dealings...the same form used by more than 91% of all Florida Dealers. The remaining dealers use a form that is NOT a full-disclosure. His claims of manipulating numbers makes no sense as he sat with our Financial Manager for more than an hour where he was able to ask ANY question or address ANY concern. Finally, we recognize there are times when a Customer may feel as though something is wrong and that is when we always make an effort to meet with the Customer to address the concerns. We always do "what is right." It is one of the reasons I am proud to work here and unwilling to work for some other dealerships...I value my own integrity too much.
