Ryan Peeples and Ronnie Nesbitt made me feel I was an important customer. They seemed genuine about me being happy with my purchase. Mr. Nesbitt recognized me, knew Ryan was not there, and came out of his office to help me. I found this dealership via Cars.com because I was looking for a Mustang Boss in Got to have it green. I live just over four hours from this dealership and did most of the work by phone. I started talking with him on Wednesday and Saturday I picked up the car. Everyone at the dealership was very helpful and easy to deal with, but speed was not something they did well. I told Ryan I was going to be there by noon and showed up three minutes early, but he was working with someone else so I was left waiting and if they were in the city that I live I would not have a problem with it, but once I finished there I had a four and a half hour drive ahead of me. I believe they gave me a fair price on the Boss and would not mind dealing with them again next time I am in the market for a car. More

The saleman (Jay Acevedo) did not try to put me in a vehicle 20,000.00 over the price I ask for he did not try to sell me a car when I ask for a truck, he actually sat down and took time to listen to me. That is hard to find in any business now days. I would recommend Parks Ford of Gainesville to everyone as they are not like the pushy salespeople like all the other dealerships have around the north Florida area.. and I should know I traveled from Lake City, Live Oak, Jacksonville, and even went to the Chevrolet dealer in Gainesville and was disappointed and aggrevated when I left there, I walked out on all of them because they were trying to sell me a vehicle I did not want, with payments that were sky high Parks Ford of Gainesville listened to me and searched for the truck that fit in my budget, they went out of their way to find what I needed not what they thought I needed. Went to have my tires replaced and found rear cylinders leaking from previous visit and tierods worn. Initially my visit to this dealership was okay. I picked out the vehicle I wanted and the overall sales experience with John Dukes went smoothly. When I finally got to the point of signing the contract I l out the vehicle I wanted and the overall sales experience with John Dukes went smoothly. When I finally got to the point of signing the contract I lost all respect for the employees working for Parks. The finance employee actually "begged" me to purchase gap insurance so he could receive a "spiff". I assume this is a bonus on something sold? The situation became very uncomfortable from this point forward. The condition that the Expedition was in was poor, but I knew it could be fixed under warranty - my shock was that any dealership would allow a brand new vehicle to sit on their parking lot with such horrendous cosmetic faults. John Dukes stated he would call me first thing Monday morning to schedule a service time to bring the vehicle in for repair....I never heard from him again. I called and left several messages but got no response. I became very agitated and finally spoke with a manager by the name of Ronnie Nesbitt, who scheduled an appointment for me to take the vehicle in on a particular day. When I arrived for my appointment I was not in the computer and got a very baffled service tech. In the end I was sent home, which is 40 miles away and was told they would have to get approval from Ford to have the repairs done. I drove back to the dealership after a while and demanded my trade back and stated that I did not want to do business with this dealership. It was like a circus had come to town. This is the POOREST service I have ever received from any dealership, and I have purchased several Fords in my lifetime. To date I am still contemplating hiring an attorney to cancel the contract. I feel I should be compensated somehow for the treatment I received. More

The problem I keep encountering is that every time they service my vehicle, they break something else. If they fix a window switch, they break the door lock. They fix a tire and mess up the brake pads. The service my vehicle, they break something else. If they fix a window switch, they break the door lock. They fix a tire and mess up the brake pads. They replace the battery and break a battery terminal. And of course this is all due to the vehicle 'being so old' (9 years old with 80K on it and meticulously cared for). Oh, and guess who pays for all of the repairs for the things they break? You got it - I do. If they were not the only game in town I would go anywhere else in a heartbeat, but if you want Ford parts they are the only option. Good luck to you if they fix/break/fix anything on your car. More
