Parks performed oil changes and other vehicle maintenance. In late 2014 with 96,000 miles on the vehicle, I discovered that the engine was using a lot of oil. Since Parks was performing the service, I was not monitoring oil levels and consumption as closely as I should have. By the time I discovered the engine oil consumption problem , we were 1 1/2 weeks beyond the 5-year power-train warranty (but still within the 100,000 mile limit). This made us responsible for %40 of a very expensive engine repair. I am disappointed with GM for not honoring the powertrain warranty, particularly since the problem obviously had developed over a period of months prior to my discovery (and within the 5 year warranty period). I am equally disappointed in Parks for not letting me know about this excessive oil consumption which they should have noted during previous oil changes. Due to this experience, I will not be a return customer of GM or of Park's Motors. More
SUCKS !! OVER ALL, BRETT DID OK, HE WAS TRYING TO HELP ME. ITS WHEN ALAN STEPPED IN AND TOOK OVER. ALAN WAS RUDE, DEGRADING, AND OVER POWERING. I THINK HE OVER ALL, BRETT DID OK, HE WAS TRYING TO HELP ME. ITS WHEN ALAN STEPPED IN AND TOOK OVER. ALAN WAS RUDE, DEGRADING, AND OVER POWERING. I THINK HE THOUGHT CAUSE I WAS A WOMAN, I KNEW NOTHING. WELL LET ME TELL YOU, APPARENTLY I KNEW TOO MUCH AND HE FELT THREATENED. I OFFERED TO FINISH THE OTHER PARTS THAT WERE NOT FIXED YET, AND HE ACTED LIKE HE ALREADY HAD ALOT OF MONEY INTO IT. I KNOW BETTER AND WHEN WE CAME BACK TO MAKE A DEAL, HE POINTED TO THE VEHICLE, THAT WAS BEING TEST DRIVEN AND SAID " TELL IT BYE BYE, " AND STARTED WAIVING. THAT IS NOT VERY GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED. MATT IN THE SERVICE DEPT, WAS THE ONE THAT HELPED ME FIND THIS VEHICLE. HE COMMUNICATED WITH BRETT AND THEY BOTH TRIED TO HELP. WONT BE BACK TO EVEN LOOK AT A VEHICLE IF ALAN IS STILL THERE. I HAVE ALSO TOLD LOTS OF PEOPLE HOW HE ACTED AND I ALSO KNOW OTHER CAR SALESMAN THAT DONT ACT LIKE THAT AND DO GREAT AT THERE JOB. ALAN NEEDS TO FIND A BETTER CALLING IN LIFE AND NOT DEAL WITH PEOPLE.. THANKS, CHRIS More

Good, quick, and easy. I had a great experience. I got the vehicle I wanted at a price I felt was fair. Follow up has not been great but overall a very good experience. I had a great experience. DON'T TRUST THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! YOU''LL PAY FOR IT. Having to select 1 star above does not do justice in rating my lack of satisfaction with Parks Chevrolet. I brought my 2007 Suburban into Parks Motor Having to select 1 star above does not do justice in rating my lack of satisfaction with Parks Chevrolet. I brought my 2007 Suburban into Parks Motors to diagnose a check engine light that was on. The service department said the check engine light was due to a misfire on cylinder 1. The service advisor, called back later that afternoon with the diagnosis that this cylinder would not hold good compression and claimed this was due to a damaged lifter. He quoted a "worst case" price of $4,965 to replace the lifters and cylinder heads. Shocked by this price, I asked what the best case was and they said that to replace only the lifters in that block and if there was no further damage it would be $2670 (although he said they wouldn't recommend that). Knowing that these prices were nearing the price of an engine replacement, I asked him to quote this as well and in which he quoted me $7470. Mind you, I drove this 15 miles to Parks Motors from my home and had heard absolutely no knocking sounds that would lead one to theorize that a lifter was damaged. With this in mind, I told Parks motors to zip the Suburban back up and that I planned on getting a second opinion before I were to spend $5K on a repair. I paid the $116 bill for the diagnostic and took the Suburban to a trusted mechanic @ John K Fisher GM dealership in El Dorado KS. The next morning, the service writer there explained that they had driven the vehicle, ran a diagnostic (while driving) and found a misfire in all 8 cylinders. They then removed 80mL of gasoline from the tank and found a bubble of water the size of a quarter. They added a fuel system cleaner and dryer to the fuel system, and after a $160 bill, I filled up the gas tank from a trusted station and was on my way. I have driven over 500 miles since and have had no issues. Parks Motors recommended that I make $5K in repairs that were completely unwarranted and unnecessary. If I had agreed to these repairs, I would have paid for the unneeded repairs and would have still had the bad gasoline flowing through the engine (and the problem would have remained). Parks Motors did not do a thorough job of diagnosing the problem, but quickly jumped to an overpriced conclusion that wouldn't have solved the problem. $5000 is A LOT of MONEY!!!! You are messing with people's livelihood. When you quote a repair bill like this, you better be absolutely sure! I went back in to Parks to tell them what the REAL diagnosis was. They were surprised and they said they would talk to the tech that worked on it. They offered me a free oil change to make it right. SERIOUSLY???!! You tried to charge me $5K for a repair that wouldn't have even fixed the problem and you offer me an oil change to make it right?!! You could give me lifetime oil changes and I will never, ever set foot again at Park's Motors, and I will tell everyone else I know about this experience. More

However, the days following were a nightmare full of lies, excuses, blame games, and just downright horrific customer service. The f&i clerk rushed through my paperwork on the night I purchased the vehicle and made some mistakes in categorizing the expenses, but the bottom line it was a valid contract. He said "it's 8 o'clock, let's get out of here". I received a call a few days after driving off in my awesome Camaro from the F&i clerk stating that he found me a better interest rate and that I should come down and sign new paperwork. The new rate would save me literally pennies so I politely declined. He then demanded that I come in and sign a new contract because the contract was invalid, which was a bogus statement. He said that I needed to pay $325 more in documentation fees. At that point I became angry because of the simple fact that the dealership was not being honest with their intentions. A few days later the sales manager calls and says they need me to sign a new contract, I told him it wasn't my problem. After arguing and being cussed at by the sales manager, we finally came to an agreeable term in which I would receive an extra $1000 rebate if I would sign a contract that would remedy their accounting error. I was also told that the paperwork would be ready and I would be in and out of the dealership in minutes upon my arrival. When I did arrive much to my surprise (*sarcasm) the paperwork was not ready. I was told by the f&i clerk that it would be 2 hours before the paperwork was ready and he would call me. I received no call and therefore had to barge in to the place and talk to the f&i clerk as if he were a kindergartner in order to get the task accomplished. The bottom line is this place is dishonest, unorganized, and careless. After this was all done, I asked for the general manager Jeff Horning to call me to discuss the situation. I was told he would call me the next day, This never happened, but I can't say that I'm surprised. Watch out for the $88 key fee, and the very excessive $399 documentation fee. This place will nickel and dime you until you're blue in the face. Go to Joe Self, Don Hattan, Conklin, Davis Moore, don't waste your time with Parks. More
BUYER BEWARE!!! They will change price of vehicle in finance office on the paperwork and try to hide many charges added to price of vehicle. If you confront them on it they will want you to sign away a finance office on the paperwork and try to hide many charges added to price of vehicle. If you confront them on it they will want you to sign away all of your "free" extras / parks advantages in exchange for removing the extra cost. All that was missing from the circus show in the business office was the guy in the chicken suit from the ford dealer down the road. Jordan and the chevy sales team did a great job making a deal, its ashame the business office cost them a sale. More
