My new Audi is loaded with techy features and they took all the time I needed to explain every feature so I'll actually use them. There were no games and no surprises. I did my due diligence and know I got a fair price for the vehicle and trade-in without the hassle. Kudos to the GM for building an excellent team and purchase process. I won't hesitate to refer you. A Great Experience and love my new Audi I wanted to make a change, but wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for. I went to several dealerships and drove different models. It wasn't until I I wanted to make a change, but wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for. I went to several dealerships and drove different models. It wasn't until I drove the Audi Q3, that I knew I had found it! This car is completely different from the Avalon I had become accustomed to. While I still enjoyed the style, comfort, safety and handling of my Avalon, I hadn't experienced driving as being fun in a long time. The Q3 gave me almost everything I was looking for, but in a smaller package. It's fun, zippy, stylish, comfortable, and loaded with more features than I will probably ever use. I must give a shout-out to my sales person, Robert Medlin. He listened, advised, and never did I feel any pressure. Thanks also to Jim Sanders, their Sales Manager, who was very helpful during this process. And a special thanks to Bill who spent time with me to show me many of the features that are on this car. He was so patient with me, and fortunately I get to go back for further lessons because it was difficult to absorb everything in one session. Duncan automotive is a class act. Everyone is extremely friendly and professional. While I have been a loyal Toyota buyer for nearly 25 years, I believe Audi has stepped to the front of the line. More

FIRST TIME BUYING A CAR NEW/USED. I recently purchased a vehicle. I was out all day searching and got nowhere. The first place I visited I left upset by the way the floor manager talked to me. Wheatear it was just his persona or he was just not a people person, I’m unsure. So by the time I got to Duncan it was late and my mood had gone south. But I continued in my search for the vehicle I was looking for. I stopped by just to browse the lot. I drove thru the lot, stopped and looked at a few vehicles. No one greeted me right away…that was nice. I had time to gather my thoughts and questions. After a bit a sales man (Robert Medlin) came out. It was pouring rain, but he had a smile on his face! He was courteous and observant (to the fact that it was I looking to buy not the male companions with me). We proceeded inside to discuss if this was possible for me to purchase. The whole experience was great. Everyone who passed by Robert’s office acknowledge and greeted us. They did all the leg work from moving my old car out of the rain to getting necessary document out of the glove box to. I literally just had to sit and relax!! There was no “well we can’t run the number to see what your payment will be if you’re not going to buy!” they just did it and said “are you still interested?” The whole process to some time and they were closed, but not once did I feel rushed to sign and go. They explained all the paper work and insurance to me in depth. They wanted to make sure I understood and was satisfied before I left. If not I could call at any time to ask questions even after the deal was done. My vehicle was missing 2 rear head rest. Robert tried his best to contact the previous owners to find out what happened to them, but was unable to get a response from them. So he just ordered me new ones—at no extra cost to me! Truly above and beyond. They have a new “no hassle” rule, and it is great and they go by it to a tee. They don’t haggle, hassle, or bug you in anyway, if you leave with a car great if not they still treat you with respect and don’t just run away to the next customer because you aren’t purchasing a car. This was my first experience purchasing a used car at a dealer ship and I will say that I was an absolute wonderful relaxing one! Thank you Duncan Acura of Roanoke, VA!!! More
We were only browsing but walked out with a BMW! My husband and I were on a "kid free weekend" so we decided to go browse cars (makes test driving much easier without a toddler). We came to Duncan Au My husband and I were on a "kid free weekend" so we decided to go browse cars (makes test driving much easier without a toddler). We came to Duncan Audi for my fascination with Audi's but instantly fell in love with a BMW 1-series. Robert greeted us on the lot with such a friendly casual demeanor that we shot the breeze about our love for fast cars for hours. He completely changed the way we viewed car salesmen. We typically dread going to dealerships due to the pushy salesmen who instantly drop conversation with you once they realize they aren't going to sell you anything but Robert was entirely different. We even left the lot at one point "to go browse" other lots and within 10 minutes drove right back, hunted Robert down, and within a matter of a few hours were already on our way home in our new car. The courtesy Robert and Duncan has shown us has definitely made us a "come back" customer and we absolutely will be returning for my Audi in a few years. Highly recommend Duncan Audi and Robert Medlin. Excellent customer service, easy and fun sale process, and an enjoyable experience all around. More

In every way they not only met but exceeded me and my wife's expectations. The sales representitive bill call and sales manager Jim Sanders were very professional, courteous and worked with us to get and outstanding deal. Scott Carder, the Business Manager was also outstanding. We have been shopping for months at various dealerships throughout the Roanake and Lynchburg, VA areas. When we visited Duncan we were blown away with the extreme friendliness, courtesy and professionalism of each individual we encountered. We met the owner too, Mr. Duncan. How many time have you visited the dealership and ever met the "owner"? This was a first for us. The dealerships "All New Owner Car Clinic" provided by Mr. Duncan was first class! Great food, very informative presentations and ALL the key people were present to answer any questions that arose. I highly recommend this dealership for a pleasent, efficient and satisfying experience in the purchase of an Audi or Acura vehicle! More
Friendly honest service Had to take my new "used" MDX in for items identified at time of purchase. Also, after having it for a few days, found that the fan for heat/air has bad bearings. Brent and Lynwood helped me identify the issues I had (power steering car drift). Side note, a woman was in the waiting room with me and apparently she had her car worked on at a 3rd party shop. They "replaced" a part that apparently wasn't even on the car, went so far as to actually had her parts that didn't even belong to her car. Service helped her document the repair and where the other shop was trying to swindle her. More
Great Experience buying a car for a change I've bought and sold quite a few cars in my time. Every single time, save one, I've left with buyer or sellers remorse, felt jilted shammed or bullie I've bought and sold quite a few cars in my time. Every single time, save one, I've left with buyer or sellers remorse, felt jilted shammed or bullied. Duncan Acura (and a couple of others in their chain, though NOT Duncan Suzuki in Pulaski) have moved to a new sales model. And I have to say, the BEST experience by far. They gave me a price on my trade-in WITHOUT knowing which car I was interested in (Woodson Honda refused to tell me what they'd give me for my trade-in until I sat down knowing the car I was 100% going to buy). This unheard of practice (you know, HONEST UPFRONT PRICING) was awesome. That was just the beginning. They gave me more for my trade-in than I expected. I had a number I wanted and was going to try to get in the negotiations, and they hit it without ANY haggling on my end, and it was better than I expected. Also, they can't advertise it, but they have BRAND NEW CARS on their lot for LESS THAN INVOICE. It's all because they have this new way of selling. They have this new sales methodology; honest upfront pricing, both on trade-ins and buying a car, new or used. They take a whole lot into consideration like how long a car (new or used) is on the lot (which is huge), the CURRENT market for a car (ie not what they WANT to get out of it) and other items. Yeah, it's easy to want to dig at the price, as we're all so used to doing so. They won't haggle, because they can't!! Because, and I REALLY checked, their prices are lower than ANYONE within 300miles. I was looking at several different types of used cars; Toyota, Acura, Honda, MB. Hands down, they were the most aggressively priced. Not like Berglund (pick ANY of their dealers). Berglund prices their vehicles at EVERY SINGLE LOT literally 10% ABOVE market. Even cars on Berglund's lot for SIX MONTHS are overpriced. I mentioned that a particular vehicle was on their lot for over 6mons and they said "No, it was at a different dealer". Yeah, that "different dealer" was NEXT DOOR, THEIR OTHER DEALERSHIP. And that's not even going into their BS sales tactics, "what do you want to pay; let me get my manager (ie closer)" However, DUNCAN ACURA'S no haggle pricing, while might seem like you're going to take a bath b/c you can't haggle, is REALLY REALLY fair. I got the car I wanted, 2008 MDX, for 2000 less than I thought I'd have to pay. And I got the amount I wanted for my trade in without having to say a single word. Rob Burke is an easygoing knowledgeable salesman. He didn't pressure me at all. Let me think I knew what I was talking about :). No pressure whatsoever. Scott, the finance manager, even saved me a couple of bucks. He asked to try to vie for my loan (I came in preapproved) and he did exactly as I had asked, sent to only two banks. They REALLY want you to know they're trying to respect the customer, not bamboozle them. Yes, this is corny. Yes, I am selling it big. But after 45 days of looking for a car and feeling like I was going to have to go to war with Berglund to get the car I wanted (They seem to have 75% of the dealers in the Roanoke Valley area) at a reasonable cost, I can't even express how great an expereince this was. My ONLY hit on this was the almost 4hrs to complete the process. And Duncan Acura said EVEN THAT was going to get better, with their target of an hour total (absolutely unheard of). I am buying EVERY single car if I can from Duncan Acura in the future. I will push/cajole/insist everyone I know look to them first. If you want an Acura or Audi, THEY HAVE NEW ONES BELOW INVOICE!!! Not all, obviously, but enough that it's hugely significant. In a time when every $1000 counts, I saved $2000 at least going thru Duncan Acura/Audi. And in case you think this is a timely placed "planted" story, Ask for Rob Burke, salesman and he can give you my contact info. I am not a sales person, a dealer or anything related, just a normal person looking not to get screwed by used car salesmen and I have found my dealer for life. More

Nothing makes a person feel less intelligent than that You know that feeling, when you pull up to a service department and says "it's making a noise"? Nothing makes a person feel less intelligent than that feeling...unless it's having your taxes done. This was not the case with my recent visit to the Duncan Acura Service Center. Belve Underwood, my Service Writer was kind, helpful, and disarming. He kept me updated during the repair process. I never had to caIl or worry about when it would be ready or what was found to be wrong. He went over every process. I have never bragged on a dealership, much less a service department. Everyone I met seemed very genuine. Word of mouth is everything ! Great job guys (and Betty too) !! More
