We are aware that our philosophy of offering a consistent price for every customer is not one that fits every customer’s preferred method of car buying, but we believe it does fit most of our customer preferences. When we price our pre-owned cars we use a tool that enables us to monitor all comparable listings within 250 miles on Cars.com and AutoTrader.com, the 2 most prevalent used car listing sites. We provide a copy of those listings to everyone prior to the purchase so an informed decision can be made regarding how we stack up. We do not use listings outside that area as they do not accurately reflect our market conditions, demand or supply. I am truly sorry that our approach was not right for you, but to make a concession to one customer regarding our pricing is unfair to all our other customers who rely on our commitment that they will all pay the same price, one which we believe is extremely competitive in our market.
