Salespeople at P-J are salary based, and as a result, they have a refreshing and much nicer service oriented approach. The actual sale price was clearly posted on all of the cars. It was a firm and highly competitive price, so there was none of the haggling over price that I have experienced in the past. Instead the focus was on trying to match our wants and needs with the right car for us. All of the salespeople mentioned below were knowledgeable, friendly, and very patient. After looking at several cars at this dealership, and multiple test drives, we ended up purchasing an almost new 2013 Accord coupe for my wife to drive last year. Michael and Michael helped us with this purchase. We both enjoyed driving it so much we were looking to get another Accord. I was looking at the new Accord hybrid, and waited for one to be available to try out. After test driving a hybrid, a V6, and a 4 cylinder I was still a bit undecided. Stuart helped out with the decision making in an intelligent and thoughtful manner. Ultimately I went with the 4 cylinder, and am delighted with the new ride! More

The p Had a good experience all in all. The customer service was great! The finance department was able to get a better rate and term than I expected! The price of the car was great given the miles and condition, cleanest 2001 Accord I have seen for exactly what KBB said it should cost. I liked the fact we didn't feel like we needed to bicker about the price as the car was priced to sell anyways. My brother was very excited to get a car and start getting some credit. Like I said this is a good dealership to deal with no pressure, no hassles and nice staff. Thanks, KD More

Mike Kolb was actually there to help. Not just to try and sell a car, any car you aint leaving without buying a car from us kind of deal. What a breath of fresh air that was. He showed us the options and helped define the different attributes between the models and never once did we feel like we were being herded in a direction to buy more than we were looking for. Brandie Weppler from Finance was was great to work with. She had us through the mountain of paper work in a jiffy. As I mentioned before, my wife an I are experienced buyers and we know what we need, Brandie was sure we understood our options in a most respectful way and understood our wishes. My wife and I have only one regret and that is this is our first time dealing with Parker Johnstone Honda. We wasted all that time, energy, and had to experience to many bad feelings struggling though the sales process with all those other auto dealerships in the past. Many thanks to Michael Kolb and Brandie Weppler for helping make our day. You folks were Great! "6" stars. More
This is a very together, happy team . . . . My wife and I had a terrible experience with a local Eugene - Springfield mainline Auto Dealership last week. Purchasing a used car, or a new car for My wife and I had a terrible experience with a local Eugene - Springfield mainline Auto Dealership last week. Purchasing a used car, or a new car for that matter, seems to be for many consumers an "US vs. THEM" experience, and what we went through last week was no exception. The single biggest problem that we were presented in the purchase of a used 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser, other than the failure of the transmission withing 24 hours of bringing it home, was the assistant sales manager and his "old school" presentation of "what can we do for you (to you is more like it!) to have you leave with this vehicle today?" There was NONE OF THAT GARBAGE at Parker Johnstone's Wilsonville Honda. Our first contact with this, the friendliest of sales organizations, was via the internet with Larry Skreen in a "chat" format at 8:00 o'clock on a Saturday morning. This initial contact led to making an appointment to see a "pre-owned" Suzuki Gran Vitara with the fabulous Ashlyn Barry - who went to the bother of physically going out into their covered parking facility to "put hands" upon the actual vehicle advertised, verifying it's existence. She then set an appointment that worked with our Saturday schedule. And when we realized that we were running a little late (hey, it was Saturday - after all!), graciously extended the time that they would absolutely hold the Gran Vitara for our visit. When my wife and I arrived, Ashlyn was working with another customer - and instead we were met by Larry Skreen, who took a few minutes to welcome us graciously before he put us together with Stuart Freeman. It was Stuart who provided all of the particulars about the car we'd come more than 100 miles to see, and Stuart - who put his life in our hands while we went on a not-so-wild ride on the mean streets of Wilsonville, test driving the Gran Vitara. We were sold!! The car was every bit as good as advertised - with the exception of the original advertised price; the difference between the advertised sales price an the actual contract sales price was about $1000 dollars - IN OUR FAVOR. Our final contact on the day was the Finance Manager, Brandie Weppler; we had pre-arranged financing with our credit union. She made sure that we completely understood the ins-and-outs of what was going on with the purchase and loan process of our new "pre-owned" auto, making the most difficult part of the final process the inevitable hand cramps that are the result providing all of the "initials here" and "sign here" necessary to keep the bureaucrats and finance folks happy. PS- not one of the folks working at Parker Johnstone's Wilsonville Honda are working on a "commission sales" basis. When you walk in, you do not see the "sharks" circling for "the kill". The Customer Service Representatives at this dealership are please to help - and extremely professional in the most friendly, charming way. If you are in the market for a safe and reliable "as advertised" "Pre-Owned" vehicle, or a New Honda automobile - THIS IS THE PLACE! More
A very different kind of dealership After buying a handful of new and used cars, I thought I had the dealerships all figured out. Yesterday I had just left a lot after being frustrated After buying a handful of new and used cars, I thought I had the dealerships all figured out. Yesterday I had just left a lot after being frustrated with the dealers' shenanigans. My next stop was Wilsonville. I had a brief phone conversation with Ashlyn and immediately got the impression that this dealership was different. I told her that I wasn't going to put up with any games. She told me that they don't play those games and I actually believed her. Turns out she was right. I was helped by Geri. It felt like I was speaking with a good friend. She was kind and concise, helpful and well informed. It truly felt like she was trying to work "with" me to meet my needs. She explained how Wilsonville is trying to be different from the rest. I could clearly see the difference and hope it becomes a trend. Teri helped me finalize the paperwork. She was just as great as Geri. Both Geri and Terri had my best interests at heart including helping expedite the process as best they could. Also, the dealership is gorgeous and the test drive route is scenic and beautiful. When I got home my wife said our neighbours were also raving about Wilsonville. I'm a very satisfied customer. More
Apology accepted but sincerity lacking I wrote a previous review about misleading online pricing. I talked to other dealers and heard that most would have honored a published price even if I wrote a previous review about misleading online pricing. I talked to other dealers and heard that most would have honored a published price even if it was in error. In this case the error was not that huge of a discount but the best they could do after a week was an apology and an offer to sell me the car for the current online price plus some free accessories which I don't want. They never did honor their published price but they did give me a price I thought was good until my local dealer matched it and added a discounted desired accessory without hesitation. To me that means it was probably not that great of an apology offer. I am super happy with my new CRV ( bought elsewhere). Sorry guys but my review stands. More

After hearing about the We did a lot of research before deciding where to buy our new vehicle. Dale and Ashlyn were great during the Internet chat. After hearing about the negotiation free best price, we decided to give PJWH a try. Dale met us and showed us the car we were interested in. He explained a number of options on the car, including those dealer added accessories. When we were ready to take a test drive, Kim came with us. She further explained features as I was driving. This is our fourth Honda having purchased a Prelude, Passport and Civic before. We love the quality of the Honda vehicles. The process to purchase this Honda Accord was the easiest and most stress free one so far. Kim helped us through the paperwork. Then we met with Brandie and she was just as friendly as the rest of the PJWH employees. We are very happy with our new car and we would definitely recommend PJWH to all our friends and families and everyone else. Thank you Dale, Ashlyn, Kim & Brandie. More

Well as it turned out, no it did not make sense for him but in the end it did for me. What Nichole did not know as she shared with me the options I had was I am a very difficult buyer. I don't buy a car because it looks cool, or for status, or for how it makes me feel. I buy almost entirely on utility; and utility for me means gas mileage, number of passengers, cargo space, and 3 options A/C, Power Door Locks, and Cruse Control. Even worse for her I owned this car already a 2009 Honda Fit Sport and loved the room and the gas mileage with almost 80,000 miles on it. Even worse I also have a rule where once I buy a car I try to keep it for 200,000 miles; my first new car Pontiac LeMons I kept for 120,000 miles and my Corolla holds the record at 235,000 miles. What she did not know was I hated to drive my car, I did not like the tight sport suspension with low profile tires which caused me to feel the bumps in the road more than any car I had owned before, and the tight sport steering made it harder to drive for me, and then I had purchased my fit used, so it had some scratches on the dash, chips in the exterior paint from salt, and super glue on the dash where someone had glued something; it always felt like a "used car". I had also put a good bit of money into it for new brakes and rotors as well as standard maintenance during the last year when I was driving 50 miles one way to work. What was great was her non-sales approach, I experienced the same thing when I purchased my Plymouth mini van from Carmax and enjoyed it. What do you need this vehicle for, and then here is what the numbers are, does this make sense for you? What made sense was purchasing a new 2013 Fit, with standard wheels and steering which for me makes the car a true pleasure to drive, with a monthly payment that was lower than I had before and at a much lower interest rate. It was nice to work with someone who was willing to take the time to get me all of the facts I needed to make a good decision. More
