The customer service my friend received at Parker Johnstone was superb in every regard when compared with three other Honda dealerships he dealt with in the greater Portland area. Michael Kinsman was the primary customer service rep, and I can honestly say he was the most honest, most caring, hardworking and dedicated customer service rep I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in my 53 years. And note that I didn't say automotive customer service rep. I intentionally meant ANY customer service rep, and that is really saying something when the best customer service rep you have ever encountered has chosen to work in automotive sales. We were also very impressed with the great service we received from Geri Reeves and Jeff Gilmore the day we showed up unannounced to ask some questions when Michael happened to be out of the office. Again, Geri and Jeff went to the nines to make sure my friend was well-informed and well taken care of. And when it became patently obvious where he would buy his new Honda, Michael and Terri Jennings stayed in the office till past 10:30pm to make sure his buying experience was done to his complete satisfaction. All I can say is that the folks over at Parker Johnstone were a real breath of fresh air compared to what you might encounter at other automotive dealerships - a true team of dedicated and committed professionals that treat customers fairly and honestly with a genuine sense of concern for their customers' complete satisfaction and well-being - all topped off with a real zest for what they do. When my wife and I start the process of shopping for a new car, we will definitely pay Michael, Geri, Jeff, Terri and all the folks over at Parker Johnstone a visit - and we have never even been Honda owners! That's how good they are. David K More

Best Experience I Could Have Asked For My boyfriend and I came in with a referral from my coworker, no intention of buying that day because he wanted to shop around, and a lot of questions. My boyfriend and I came in with a referral from my coworker, no intention of buying that day because he wanted to shop around, and a lot of questions. Right away, Dale Winterfield greeted us, and let us "drive" the experience - we asked specifically to see the stock of used CR-Vs, and he didn't try to steer us to a newer car with a bigger price tag, which is what I was anticipating. He and Steve Morris made sure that every single question we had was answered, and put absolutely zero pressure on us to buy a car; they both made it very clear that they were happy to help us, and you could tell they meant it; they even stayed late with us to finalize our purchase and were such genuine, friendly, knowledgeable guys. I could not have asked for a better first-time buying experience; I wouldn't go anywhere else for my second car, although I think I'll have the 2009 CR-V for quite a while; I LOVE IT. Thank you all so much for being so friendly and patient, and treating your buyers/leasers like human beings. I am so grateful to have had the experience that I did. More
Buying a vehicle should always be this easy I had researched the Honda Ridgeline for roughly 3 months before I finally decided to contact a dealership to drive one and talk with someone about it I had researched the Honda Ridgeline for roughly 3 months before I finally decided to contact a dealership to drive one and talk with someone about it. I wasn't aware that Honda had stopped making the 2014 Ridgeline as it prepared to re-tool its line and launched an all new Ridgeline in 2016. The dealership didn't have a Ridgeline on the lot so it went and found one from a neighboring dealer and then called me back to schedule a test drive. That's when I met Nichole Friswold. On our test drive, Nichole helped me understand the differences between the vehicle I was driving and the one that I had "built" on the Honda website. After the test drive, she sat down with me and went thru each option I had selected, explaining each, which were redundant or part of a package I had already selected. She also explained their best price negotiations which means the dealer leads with their best price (which was significant and pleasant surprise) thus eliminating one of the most unenjoyable part of buying a car. After she fully understood the trim package and options that I was looking for did Nichole begin her search for my truck. 3 days later, I took the truck I designed on a test drive and decided to purchase it. I filled out the paperwork between two soccer games and Nichole had scheduled to have the remaining options expertly installed. At all times I knew I could simply call Nichole and she'd take care of everything. She was truly there to help me with purchasing my truck. Her attention to detail didn't stop there as she is quick to follow up with a call or email after every time I brought my truck in to have additional options installed. It was a pleasure to work with Nichole and I feel I got exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price. More
Easy Purchase with no pressure At the 2010 Portland Auto Show my wife and I were given a certificate for a free dinner if we test drove a new Honda at Wilsonville Honda. Kim Posy me At the 2010 Portland Auto Show my wife and I were given a certificate for a free dinner if we test drove a new Honda at Wilsonville Honda. Kim Posy met with us and accompanied us on our drive. We did not buy a new Honda at that time but we stopped to talk with Kim when our 2004 Odyssey was in for service. A few weeks ago we decided to purchase a new 2015 car since we were planning to drive to the East coast in May. Our 2004 Odyssey just crossed the 100,000 mile mark and was not having problems, we wanted a reliable car for this trip. We set up an appointment with Kim to check out a new Odyssey. My wife and I had certain requirements for our 2015 such as comfortable seats, beige interior and adaptive cruise control. We then checked the Accord Touring and test drove it. We decided that the Accord was more comfortable for us. None of the Accord Tourings in stock had a dark red exterior and beige interior until Kim checked with Jeff and found that Bob, the General Manager, was driving one as his personal car. It was untitled and met all our requirements. Kim worked with us to get the car back to detail it and have it ready for delivery the following Wednesday. The process was so smooth and easy. It was the easiest purchase of an auto we ever made. On Wednesday the car was detailed, and ready to go. Kim road with us while we checked it out. The signing of the paperwork with Brandie was painless and we were on our way. We really enjoyed working with Kim. She is the best person to work with during the purchase of a new Honda. We wish it didn't take 5 years for Kim to sell us a new Honda. Bob, Your loss of the car was our gain. More
Not your typical car dealer Joe Selander was a pleasure to work with. He was pleasant from the minute we walked through the door, didn't pressure us at all and knew the product Joe Selander was a pleasure to work with. He was pleasant from the minute we walked through the door, didn't pressure us at all and knew the product line availability quite well. We got a non negotiable price and then went other dealers to see how his price compared. Joe's was the best so we went back. Before driving off, Joe gave us a well needed vehicle tutorial before we drove off. He also followed up on our emails and setting up the XM radio. Very Pleasant experience overall. More
Overall really liked our experience, but the service after We were very happy when we found the exact car we want and even happier to know that we don't have to negotiate and deal. Yes, we agree to pay that, We were very happy when we found the exact car we want and even happier to know that we don't have to negotiate and deal. Yes, we agree to pay that, sign the papers and go on your way. Sounds easy right - it was. Our sales person was great, the finance guys were great, we were in and out in less than 3 hours. We left the car there as there was a small repair to the dashboard that was necessary. We bought it on a Thursday night and were going out of town until Sunday. We were told great, we'll have them fix tomorrow and you can pick up on Sunday and the car will be detailed. We showed up Sunday, the car was detailed, but that's about where it ends. Our sales person wasn't there which we already knew and did not expect him to be there - it was a little chaotic and nobody knew what we were doing. Now I know that our sales person left information but someone dropped the ball for him. The finance person remembers us and tells them what our car is and we go out there. The repair is not done. We are told that nobody knows anything about this and it must be a part on order. Go ahead and take the car and we will coordinate the repair for you and give you a tank of gas for your troubles. OK, great. A little weird that it wasn't done, but I chalked it up that we were buying a Toyota and this is a Honda and they don't have the part if that's what is needed. So Monday comes along and service calls me to set up a time. I wasn't available so I returned the call late Wednesday to get this set up. Here is where my experience went back - nobody knows what they need to do to the car, how long they need it and what the plan is. Basically they want me to bring the car in, but they'll give me a loaner, but nobody knows what they are doing, if a part is actually on order or how long they will need it. Now lets remember they had our car for 3 days solely to fix the issue. I told the service guy, how about this - you find out what you need to do to the car and how long you need it. I wanted to know do they even know, did anyone even look at it cause remember when I picked up my car I was told the part must be on order and that's why it wasn't done yet. I really don't care either way, but I want to know facts not fake words to try and smooth over. It's now the following Monday and I haven't gotten a call back - but my husband took the dash apart and repaired the issue - it was an $8 bulb. It's done and over but it makes me laugh at this point because Honda has still not called me back and as far as they know they have a new customer hanging but nobody is calling and also don't forget that free tank of gas - don't have it yet. Overall I loved the experience buying the car, but the service and any repairs needed process needs some help...it's humorous to me at this point, but if the issue was bigger, I would not be happy. Don't let this stop you from buying a car here - car is great, sales guy great, finance great - very happy with my car, just be aware to stay on top of the rest. More
