Even though Kathryn admittedly did not have a lot of experience she was honest and when asked a question that she didn't have the answer to, she knew where to find the information. Kathryn as well as Dave, the finance guy were both very friendly. I liked the way Kathryn broke out of salesperson role for a couple of minutes jsut to talk about real world topics (TCU) that interested us both. It kind of got away from the normal salesman buy it, buy it, buy it, routine that you usually encounter at dealerships. The experience was pleasant and pain free. I will be coming back for my next purchase in a few years. Price was fair, Kathryn and management worked with me to get the car into my price range while still being able to complete the repairs noted on the service inspection. I really appreciated that since I was paying cash and trying to stick to a hard-line budget. More

Sent in the numbers that would be required to make a deal work and Anthony and his manager made it happen. There was also an unforeseen problem with the car we were originally going to go with, but they came work and Anthony and his manager made it happen. Our salesman, Marc Young followed up with us extensively prior to us choosing Volvo. He did not pressure us at all through the process. After seeing an ad on TV for the 2012 Volvo S60, I decided to test drive one. He was professional and knowledgeable about the product. As I test drove the car, he pointed out the various features and options that were on the car. He understood what I was looking for and after a brief discussion regarding price, I purchased a new 2012 Volvo S60 from Park Place. When I told Mariette about a similar vehicle, I felt like Mariette simply stated the facts about the differences and let me decide what is better, and not just try to sale me that their car is better. After the initial meeting and test drive, we communicated mostly through phone and email. I loved how professional she was each time and always treated me like we are on the same level. I could say the vehicle sold itself, but that would be a lie, Mariette was truly a delight to work with. I just totaled my vehicle and was looking for a used car. I searched all over the internet looking for something affordable and reliable. I went to at least 6 big name dealerships in the DFW area before coming to Park Place Volvo. I do not know why, but the customer service at those 6 dealerships was less than poor. I found an S40 for two grand less at a small dealership, but I did not like the salespeople. So I will say again, you should feel confident about your purchase. Therefore I did not trust the place, but two grand is still a nice savings. At first I was just going to compare and completely uninterested. I thought with a few differences between vehicles, there is no way I would pay more for almost the same vehicle. WRONG!
