Great experience even with a storm day Aaron first contacted us and schedule the test drive. He is very patiently showing two xc60s with us and we picked the second xc60. It got all the features we need and within our budget. Also one unque thing is we go through all documents with Aaron. It’s a pleasent experience. Just hope the process can speed up a little. the entire buying experience from 9:30 - 1:30. That’s four hours long. Even woth that this is a good 4 hours spent. More

Low integrity and dishonest - Never again! I Bought a used vehicle (under 6K) that was posted online earlier in the year. Salesman said it was in excellent condition and had passed Volvo safet I Bought a used vehicle (under 6K) that was posted online earlier in the year. Salesman said it was in excellent condition and had passed Volvo safety inspection. I figured a dealer like this would make sure everything is good before a vehicle goes out the door (to not stain their reputation) so I believed them. After everything was done (2 weeks later) I discovered a broken rear coil spring. I don't know how long it's been that way but the broken section was well rusted. I inquired the salesman about it and got an email stating the vehicle was bought "As Is" so any repair is my responsibility. I get the "As Is", BUT... the vehicle supposedly went through a safety check and passed... I don't think a broken coil spring is considered passing safety by any standards. I emailed and call management to escalate the issue. Got a call back from a manager saying it could have been broken after I took possession. I explained that the broken section was well rusted and I only had the vehicle for about 2 weeks. After some back and fourth, Park Place agreed to look at it. Said they'll change both rear springs buy I have to pay $300 because supposedly it'll cost them like $800 to fix. I didn't like it but I needed the vehicle fixed quickly for my wife, so I went with it. 1) I bought the vehicle at this Volvo dealer for that extra peace of mind believing it went through a minimum inspection already. If I didn't care about that I would have just bought a vehicle off of Craigslist... but apparently I probably would have had the same or better luck with Craigslist. 2) The immediate reaction on the part of Park Place was one of "screw you... if ain't our problem". It wasn't until I escalated the issue that someone reluctantly got back and gave me a less-than-desirable solution. 3) They talked about what it cost them to fix it and wanted me to pay for a portion, but the reality is IF they had done their job correctly at the beginning, the vehicle would not have gone out the door in that state. They would have either fixed it in the same way they did, or auctioned it off. But because of what they failed to do, I had to fight & pay an extra $300 just to have a vehicle in a condition that should have been in at the time of purchase. I would not recommend Park Place Volvo to anyone. If you got the money to buy new or really high end pre-owned vehicle, they might be find... but if you're buying anything less, I'd be real careful as they've proven that not much is done other than an oil change and cleaning, and certainly will not stand behind anything after its off the lot... which speaks volumes about their integrity. Also, the first thing I noticed a couple days after I got the vehicle was that there were 2 different pair of tires (different brand, size & tread pattern) on there... 2 asymmetrical tires on the left (driver) side and 2 symmetrical on the right side. Again... this should have been caught at the get go and at the very least swapped so the same tires are on the same axle. Most people with some car knowledge knows you should never have mismatched tires (size & tread pattern) on the same axle. Heck, you shouldn't even have different pairs on front and back on a 4wd (which was the vehicle I bought). So in addition to the coil spring drama, I had to get the differentials inspected (from my own mechanic) to make sure it didn't suffered too much damaged and bought 4 new tires to match. Bottom line... it was a TERRIBLE experience purchasing this vehicle from Park Place. My fault for blindly trusting them and didn't inspect things on my own when I was there. As a side note... I spoke to Awan briefly when trying to reach management to escalate my issue and he listened to my concerns and handled everything very professionally. I don't know how involved he was in this, but had people there showed a more understanding and treated me (a customer) the way Awan did, I might have had a different view on Park Place. More
