No oil after oil change! Got an oil change at Park Place Volvo January 2020 -- checked the oil one week later and NONE was showing on stick! My service advisor told me it was fine to drive the car since I had not received a "low oil" warning light. Took it in and they admitted that the oil was under-filled by 1.5 quarts, but I can't be sure it wasn't a lot more than that. Also noted that my vehicle's oil capacity is 7.7 qts -- and Park Place Volvo typically bills me for 8 qts (as they have on my past 12 oil changes on my 2014 vehicle). But during this last service (January 2020) they BILLED me for 9 quarts. Is that fraud or legit -- maybe a new practice for 2020 at Park Place? Hmmm something to ask Volvo Corporate about. I wish I could say that this was my first bad experience with Volvo Park Place Service, but it isn't -- they have under-trained/under-experienced techs and were happy to send out a vehicle with NO OIL. You can't say worse than that. More
