My experience here could have been a whole lot better. The people working here were kind or portrayed to be. I'm currently a Government/Federal employee that works under law enforcement: I state this only to say that I understand procedures must be followed and the risk for identity theft, but I felt violated numerous of times about my identity and American citizenship. The mistakes that were made on behalf of Park Place should have been resolved amongst the employee and not me, "the buyer". I have never been to a car company, store, realtor, etc, and been asked to show my birth certificate, social security card, education background just to verify who I am. This is a first for me and will be discussed amongst me and my fellow law enforcement agents/officers. This review is solely based on my personal experience with Park Place as a first time Mercedes Benz buyer. More

I could not be happier with my new purchase or buying experience. I initially stopped by to just "kick the tires" on a couple of cars, not really looking to buy right now. My salesperson was more than wi experience. I initially stopped by to just "kick the tires" on a couple of cars, not really looking to buy right now. My salesperson was more than willing to help me out, even though I was not looking to buy right now. Zane took as much time as I needed to let me drive a few cars to narrow down my selection. I was looking to purchase a pre-owned car. Although I was looking at cars in the $35,000-$40,000 range, I was given the same consideration and attention as someone who was spending over $100K on a new car. I never felt like a "used car" person. While completing the sale of the car, several department managers introduced their self to me, thanked me for my purchase, provided me with their card, and said never to hesitate to call if I ever had questions or problems. The "Preferred Members" package I received as a thank you gift was absolutely incredible. Again, I felt like I had just purchased the most expensive car on the lot given the first class treatment I was receiving. I don't think I will ever shop another lot for my future auto purchases. Our overall buying experience was excellent. We looked at/priced vehicles from three other dealerships before deciding to purchase another MB. The negotiated price through my insurance company, USAA, obv at/priced vehicles from three other dealerships before deciding to purchase another MB. The negotiated price through my insurance company, USAA, obviously simplified the process and made my decision easier, but your employees sealed the deal. I typically research the features and specs of a car before I go to a dealership. This allows me to ask more intelligent questions. One of my pet peeves is when I seem to know more about the car than the salesperson. That was NOT the case with Joe Sabin. He not only answered all my questions but pointed out a lot of things I would not have thought to ask. He very obviously knows your product line and articulates it well. He is a valuable member of your sales team and a valuable asset to your dealership. I also very much enjoyed dealing with Wes ??? in your finance department. I purchased by first SLK at Ewing in Plano 11 years ago and I considered that pretty good experience. Had a wonderful service adviser who retired at the end of 2010. As I was looking for another home I thought I would give Park Place in Fort Worth a try, I had gone to the 183 location and did not like them very much. Well in January of 2011 I found a new home. Wes in service is just awesome. I had my old car in there several times. I also very much appreciate the fact that when I brought my car in for service my loaner was and Mercedes....no guessing game there. When I began to think about trading my beloved "Betsy" (with over 296 thousand miles on her)in and getting a later model, I met Zane of course I had nightmares just thinking about the whole process of hagling back and forth, visiting serveral locations and not finding someone that I would feel confortable with. First visit I met Zane, what a wonderful experience. Knowledgable, experienced and personable. I will recommend everyone I know interested in buying a Benz to your location and although I am hopeful my new 2009 SLK last another 11 years whenever I am in the market again I will be there.
