Back to Mercedes after years in GMC and BMW's Dan Reed met me in the rain at 7:45 in the morning. I was "sneaking" around thinking that no one would be in at that hour. 24 hours later we drove off in our GLE350. Great experience from start to finish. Dan Reed is a true professional in the business. He was very cognizant of our time and our needs to find a replacement for our SUV. After 16 years of no Mercedes in our household, we are back. Walmart service,with a ParkPlace price tag ! I currently own 3 Mercedes-Benz, I love the cars ! They are reliable ,gorgeous cars,an extreme plasure to drive.They can be a bit pricey but, Ive alwa I currently own 3 Mercedes-Benz, I love the cars ! They are reliable ,gorgeous cars,an extreme plasure to drive.They can be a bit pricey but, Ive always been a firm believer that you get what you pay for,and the Mercedes-Benz brand has lived up to all my expectations. Thats why Im completely devastated by my recent experience at the service department. A few months ago my car was vandalized and the Vandals dismantle and confiscated the navigation system and DVD from the truck of my CLS 500 there was body damage that was done to the car.because it was vandalism and insurance company was involved,after checking with parkplace body shop i was informed that it would be almost 4 to 5 months before they could get to my car,which the body work was not a big issue ,but the manner in which the Vandals removed the navigation and other electronic equipment from the car somehow left and open circuit and after short length of time the battery would be completely drain in the car would need to be boosted in order to start.As an experience Mercedes-Benz owner I understood that boosting the car could and would more severe damage,so i took my car into the service department at park place, understanding that they did not deal with insurance claims I did the footwork and took care of all of the requirements for the insurance company in order to get my car back in working condition, I was advised by my service guy who was a pretty respectable guy that seemed to be knowledgeable office job of all the parts that I needed to restore it back to its full working condition which included new navigation system ,power source,and antenna because the new system was not reading my old antenna, also while the car was there requested that the HID lights leans be restored. I advised him to do whatever it took to get it back to its original are better state, he called and advised me that my car was ready I was working at the time I advised him that I will call him later to schedule a pick up time, I did see several calls that day advising me that I needed to pick up the car I called him as soon as I got free time and told him that I was in route to pick up the car and that I was on the way to the airport and I wanted to make for sure that the car was ready he confirmed that it was ready gave me a price I asked him how did the headlights come out he then tells me that he forgot to add it on but would take care of ,i arrived at park place , cashed out and waited and waited ,and waited ,only to be told that my car was not starting because of a battery issue ,mind you it should be a new battery,im patient and understanding so i waited only to find out that i would have to take the loner car again untill they figured out what happened,which took an additional 30 min to get me back in the loner car i just got out of ,my car was again ready for pick up about a few days later ,head lights were better but not as good as i expected,but i got my car back ,now i writing this because my car is now at parkplace again with problems with my new navigation system and batteries.......and guess they are rushing me to make a decision so i can pay more hourly rates buy more parts to fix what i should have been fixed the first time .so i guess that if its my time being wasted with there issues its ok ,as long as i fix there issues in a timely manner,i never believe that you sould be able to by lunch meat at the same place you get you batteries an oil changed ,but maybe i should start cause at least they stand by there workmanship and products with cheaper prices and more understanding.. He was very knowledgeable about Mercedes cars and obviously loved the cars he was selling. At no time did I feel pressured or hassled in any way. He allowed me to make a decision at my own pace. I ended up purchasing a CPO E-class coupe and I got an amazing deal on it. Since then, David has called several times to check up on me and make sure I'm happy with the car. This is my fourth car I've bought from Park Place and this was the best buying experience I've had yet. Pure class. More
