This is my third car I have purchased from Park Place. I live 120 miles from Park Place and there are 3 other dealerships closer. Robert Stuckey quickly responded to an inquiry from us via the internet on the ML350. We drove in from East Texas on a Saturday afternoon to see and drive one. My wife and I found a used vehicle on the dealers web site and made a phone inquiry about it (31,000) miles on 2003 Pilot. Bobby didn't know about the vehicle as it just hit the web site. When we got to the dealership, Bobby greeted us and showed us the car, drove it with us and sat down and worked out a deal. The car had not been serviced or cleaned so Park Place kept it for a day and when we picked it up, it looked like it was brand new, thanks to Jed and his team. Even though we bought the "Least expensive house in the most expensive neighborhood", we were treated like we were buying the most expensive car they had. I was not really wanting to purchase another vehicle at this time, but my husband was persistent about my getting back into a luxury car, but a little sporty as well. So, my husband had been asking me what kind of car I wanted, and I hadn't really seen too many vehicles I liked in terms of cost, performance, and body style. So, I was listening to Pandora on my cell phone, and as many of you know, when you use the free Pandora, it comes with advertisements, which is a good thing for me and Park Place. I found a vehicle and forwarded the information to my husband, but I didn't expect anything to really come of it, because cost was a major factor, and I figured the payments would be over the top for a vehicle of this caliber. So, some days went by, and this past Friday, we celebrated our anniversary. I was at the house waiting on him to come home, so that we could go out for dinner, but before we did so, we took a detour over to Park Place, where John Stark, zestfully greeted us....congratulated us on the anniversary and showed me to the vehicle I had mentioned to my spouse...pretty slick if I may say so myself. It was close to closing, but John was friendly, attentive, and didn't make us feel like he was going to rush us through the process. My experience on this purchase was marred by the issues in the Finance area. I spent 3 hours there and was not a happy camper. When Rod told me that the deal would route thru Bank of America, I mentioned in the Finance area. I spent 3 hours there and was not a happy camper. When Rod told me that the deal would route thru Bank of America, I mentioned that I preferred MB Financial Services since the previous 3 new, and 1 used purchases had gone that way. Only after I spoke with Andy and was ready to leave was MB contacted. BOA wanted my husband on the deal even though all other sales had just me on the paperwork. In spite of this happening, I just ask that the Finance Manager give the customer the choice of who their financing goes through if possible since they are ultimately responsible for the payment, monthly or otherwise. Other than the BOA situation, both Andy and Rod were great to work with. More
