I decided to try Park Place Mercedes since they are the most well known Mercedes dealer locally, and I anticipated having to deal with some difficult car people at this "fancy" dealer. I was surprised that everyone I dealt with was very nice and never made me feel uncomfortable. My sales guy (Mike Kavanaugh)was helpful & followed through promptly on the whole process of ordering my wifes 2012 GL 550. I bought a new SLK350 that was scheduled to be delivered in about 10 days. When the car arrived, there was 1 feature that had been on the paperwork but was not on the car. They told me not to worry - they would make it right and WOW they sure did. Instead of leaving feeling upset about the car not being right, I went to my office the next day and shared the story of outstanding customer service that I experienced. They had me take the car I had purchased and then placed a production order for a new car that would include the missing feature (panoramic sky roof). When the new car came in, I went to the dealer, traded in the first car and drove off in my new car - no charge, no hassle, perfect. They didn't even charge me for the panoramic sky roof. This is how customer service should be. They went way above and beyond to take care of me and make the situation right without any hassle at all. Jim kept in contact with me and let me know the status of my new car. Hesham apologized and thanked me for giving them the opportunity to make it right. I will definitely buy from these guys again. I have never owned a Mercedes before (I have owned a number of BMW's) so we were leaning toward purchasing knowledgeable about the GLK we purchased.
