I thought my Houston Lexus dealer was the best car buying and maintenance experience I had ever enjoyed. Then, when what I wanted to buy was not available in Houston, I was forced to reach out to other deale and maintenance experience I had ever enjoyed. Then, when what I wanted to buy was not available in Houston, I was forced to reach out to other dealers in Texas and got a quick quote from Park Place Lexus. Dean McCaskill sent me information, pictures, and a great quote. He set up a pre trade meeting and got the car ready so we could drive up and do the deal and drive back to Houston in a day. He excelled in all efforts and succeeded in getting all of our wish list rapidly completed. This in itself is far above the norm even at a Lexus dealership but what takes this to 5 star is just how calm, nice, attentive and professional Dean was to a couple he had never met. I could not ask for a better experience buying a car. More

We worked ***UPDATE*** Following up from my review below, I was contacted directly by the dealership whom specifically referenced this review. We worked through a fair and equitable solution whereby it was acknowledged that alignment of the safety systems camera should have been performed in conjunction with the windshield replacement. While it took this review platform to generate action from the dealership, I have been made whole. *** I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Park Place Lexus in late March. The process and transaction went very smoothly and I felt that they were extremely transparent, going so far as to provide their full reconditioning report and internal invoice. In my case, this included a full windshield replacement. During my early ownership, I had an issue with the lane departure and collision system activating needlessly. I took the vehicle to Acura and was advised that the vehicle was equipped with an aftermarket windshield and that as part of the replacement work instructions, the safety camera is to be calibrated by an authorized Acura dealership. I contacted Park Place to advise that it appeared that they (or their glass vendor) had missed this step. This is where my entire experience with Park Place went south. First I was told by my sales consultant that the vehicle was sold “as is” and he even forwarded me the document in the deal where I agreed to this. I concurred with him, citing however, that I did so under the assumption that they would have completed their reconditioning fully and not skipped steps or taken short cuts. I was then directed to Chris Collins, Pre-Owned Sales Director, who said “Didn’t your salesman call you to tell you that you signed the as-is document?” I advised that he texted me and provided the details of the text. Chris stated “The document you signed clearly states you are accepting the car as is in the condition at that very moment.” I advised that I fully understood that, however, was doing so with the belief that a reputable organization such as Park Place wouldn’t cut corners, particularly with vehicle safety equipment. Chris sat in silence. I asked if they would be doing anything about this, and I was once again reminded of the document I signed. I am shocked at the attitude and complete lack of respect for their customers and the safety of those customers. More
