Fraudulent service experience ! However my last service experience was unbelievably bad. my service advisor recommended that I have an alignment and I requested that someone take a look at a little piece of trim that was loose and making a vibrating noise. I dropped off my RC 350 f sport at 10:15 and it was finally ready at 4. Anyway $150 for alignment and $50 to visually look at the loose piece and quoted a price of $264 to fix a missing clip. I declined the repair thinking it sounded pretty high, paid my bill and left. I expect prices to be a bit higher at the Lexus but at this point I’m willing to pay for honest, quality service done right the first time. I Noticed on the way home my car was really pulling to one side. I let my service advisor know. She told me to bring it in and have it rechecked. I asked if I could just bring it in or do I need to make an appointment ? No answer. When i got home i read the service report and alignment print out and noticed that the tech reported that my “casters” were “worn” and needed replaced in order to bring it back to specifications. So the alignment wasn’t completed to factory specifications and they let me drive off thinking it was. The next day I mentioned this in an email to my advisor. Advisor said that i needed to come back and ride around with the alignment tech. What good would riding with the tech do if there is a part that’s worn and needs replacing ? And why wasn’t I told about it before I left ? And why is this piece worn out on a car that has only 26,000 miles ? Later that evening i decided to try and find the missing clip price online to compare. To my surprise i located a certified Lexus dealership up north that also provides car parts. They provided a helpful numbered diagram so you are certain you are getting the correct part. The part I needed was $1.54! So to be on the safe side I ordered several clips as well as any piece that was associated with that piece of trim because they were all very inexpensive. Total cost with shipping was $31. I called the Lexus shop and asked about a labor quote and the rep told me that I could do the job myself in under 5 min! Wow! Park Place Service manager called me the next day after I complained to the person who does the courtesy follow up calls and said he would have someone get my car, drop off loaner and take my car back to have it checked again. Said he would be willing to eat the price of replacing any worn casters to make things right. I decided to take my car to Brakes plus down the road from my house.At this point I was frustrated and not trusting Park Place. Although Park Place was willing to get my car I wasn’t sure when I would be home long enough to make the exchange. The brakes place did a free check and said my casters were not worn and they just need adjusting and they can do my alignment for $67 in under 20 min. Cheaper, quicker and honesty with far less hassle! I let them do the alignment and after my car drove straight without any pulling. I relayed the info about the alignment and trim piece to the manager at Park Place. I asked for a full refund for alignment including the $50 for the visual check of the missing clip. He counter offered a “in store credit” but did end up agreeing to mailing a check but I had to insist. At this point why would I trust bringing my car back ? The “in store credit” offer was another insult to injury. Later I sent him pictures of my piece that was missing a clip and copies of what I ordered. I have not yet received a reply to justify the huge cost difference between the two dealerships. I’m really upset with Park Place Lexus and how poorly my entire experience was handled. I don’t understand how the alignment issue was not discussed with me by my service advisor before leaving and that I was the one that discovered it was incomplete and knew that driving around with a tech was going to be a waste of time! What a whip! Isn’t it the job of the service advisor to catch these things and to make things go smooth without a hitch ? I wasted my time and energy and feel totally taken advantage of. My friends and family told me that if I was a man that my experience would have been much different. This experience makes me question the entire Lexus brand and that’s not good!I’m hoping with time I’ll feel differently because I’ll probably have this car for a while. Moving forward I plan to take my car to the usual no frills places I’ve used in the past without any issues. I would rate my experience with a negative star if I could! More

Complaint RX 350 (2015) Claret Mica Lexus January 17, 2018 Vin # 2T27K1BA2FC176524 To whom it may concern, I purchased a car on January 12, 2018 with use RX 350 (2015) Claret Mica Lexus January 17, 2018 Vin # 2T27K1BA2FC176524 To whom it may concern, I purchased a car on January 12, 2018 with used car salesman Nassim and joint commission with Kenneth Adkins at Lexus of Plano. I picked the car up on yesterday from Lexus (the car was already parked and running) on January 16, 2018 for the first time and took it home. I asked Kenneth if the battery had been changed as requested and he pulled up a service report on the computer and at a quick glance assured me that it had been done. I am not understanding how a vehicle with a new battery does not start or turn on at all. The inside lights do not work nor will the key fab lock or unlock the doors. I immediately sent called and sent a text to Nassim that night before 9pm and thankfully he did call me back and explain that it may be the key fab. Both key fabs had red lights indicating that the battery in each was functioning. I had to get a ride home and back to my vehicle to try the extra key fab and the car still did not turn on or unlock. I have purchased two previous vehicles from Plano Lexus and have had no issued with my vehicle and because of that I have trusted the Lexus brand over others. I am a single woman who works in health care and it is vital that I am present at work and on time without car problems. I spent $27 thousand dollars of my savings on a vehicle that will not turn on. I am not satisfied with my recent purchase. I do not want to be in the same vehicle at all. The customer service that I received was not the best and extremely close to the worst and it had nothing to do with the fact that the car did not work. I do not have the time to type all of my customer service concerns at this time. Lexus has claimed that this problem is because of a bad battery which to my knowledge was changed in the service department. The car is not one that I would like to keep. I am returning the vehicle and requesting a full refund of my money. I cannot risk putting any trust in this vehicle that was given to me with in the last 48hours. I spoke with the pre-own car director Chris Collins who made me feel a little better about the process of returning the vehicle to the service department. It very hard for me to put trust in doing a deal and purchasing another vehicle at this time. My plans this morning was to be driving my newly purchased Lexus to Oklahoma City and attending my charity event. Instead, I have this ordeal in my lap. A loaner car has been offered until the non-working car is checked out. I will find a ride home. I do not intend on keeping this vehicle for the obvious reasons. Half of my satisfaction will be complete after I receive a refund for a malfunctioning vehicle received on yesterday. I am so disappointed. I came in with cash and a good credit history and walked out with no vehicle. More

Exceptional Experience I was in the market for another vehicle and had a list of makes and models I was going to research and test drive. Lexus was #3 of 6 on my list. Erin happened to be my salesperson and we spent quite a while going through my list of questions and concerns. Erin was so polite and patient. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and put me at ease with her attitude and demeanor. I didn't feel like i was buying a car with Erin, she made it feel like we were partners trying to find a solution together. It is the first time I've ever been at ease shopping for a new car. We ended up test driving an RX350. Erin was able to demonstrate all the features available to a driver and explained everything completely. I have never had such a positive experience buying a car. I am new to the Lexus family, but if this is a norm, I will be a part of this family for a very long time. More

Because of the level of service and professionalism, I made the decision to return to Park Place and to Gabriel to lease my first Lexus. They worked with my financial requirements as well as product requirements and I was extremely pleased with the overall accommodations and experience. She spent time explaining new features to me, fought to get me a good deal & has followed up with me after the sale to make sure I was loving my car & everything was going well with it.
