I had the most pleasant refreshing experience purchasing my Acura from John Clarke at David McDavid Acura in Plano. I contacted John via the internet about a car that I was interested in and he contacted me immediately with an email and phone call. The car that I viewed was just as it was presented on the internet when I got there to view it. (Unlike other experiences I have had previously.) John was just as nice in person as he was on the phone. He was very detailed in showing me everything on the car and answered all my questions. He was very honest about everything. The first car is always special. Or for that matter, any first purchase is always special. I didn't want to shelve out a huge down payment or settle for an APR that couldn't manage. Having considered all these factors, a brand new Acura seemed like a distant dream. Now that, I am writing this review makes it obvious that I am a proud owner of a brand new Acura and was able to manage my constraints and get the best possible deal. Matthew Oravetz and Salim Pirbhai are probably the best in their business (At least, that's what I feel after visiting more than five dealerships (Acura/ Non-Acura) based out of Dallas.) I believe I was informed on all the possible options and they didn't hesitate to walk me through the options again and again. When it finally came down to the point of purchasing a car, I am certain I was an informed customer. He's just a really good person who knows what he is doing and genuinely looks out for his customers' best interests. Giles Wilson (Business Manager) helped me work out the financing and explained every facet of the deal to me in a way that was easy to understand. In the end, I got an amazing car at a great price and David McDavid got a lifetime customer.
