It felt a bit claustrophobic in there and it really does not stand out against other non luxury Dealerships. In other words, it looks like any other dealership. If David McDavid and Acura wants to hold the appearance of luxury, it may want to change its overall appearance of their dealer showrooms , waiting areas, offices etc.. More

When he knows it's the first time we're trying to buy an Acura car he goes through the detail functions of the MDX tech package. This is really impressive. We do like that experience very much and come back later on the right time that we want to close the deal. After the purchase I've got some follow up questions and they're answered quickly. So far the car feels good. Looks like David McDavid Acura is doing a quite good job from their part. And my job now is to enjoy the car. More

People are friendly, professional and knowledgable. Car is always ready when or before expected. There are never surprises with fees. Last visit, however, left me irritated or some feeling I'm really unsure of. While in waiting area with 3-5 other customers over about an hour period, "Joshua" (not a service rep) came out for each person about 10 minutes before their vehicle was ready and made a sales pitch. I guess I wouldn't have had issue with it if each pitch was tailored to and necessary for each individual's vehicle and situation, but each pitch appeared to push wheel alignment @ $99.95 and ventilation disinfectant service @ $39.95, including mine. Have actually had something like disinfectant done on former Acura for funky air vent smell when on re-circ, which didn't help at all. I get that car dealership is a business, and a business needs to make money, but it still left me put-off. More

Four Time Acura Owner Highly Recommends David McDavid I recently purchased my 4th Acura from David McDavid in Plano. My previous three were purchased at other DFW dealers, but I must say that it was worth I recently purchased my 4th Acura from David McDavid in Plano. My previous three were purchased at other DFW dealers, but I must say that it was worth driving a little further to Plano. I was extremely pleased with the overall experience & highly recommend this dealership. This is my first preowned Acura, but by purchasing a 2014 TL loaner with low mileage, it's really a new vehicle to me! I was extremely impressed with my salesman, Justin Eddy. From our first contact by phone until I drove away from Plano in my new vehicle, Justin answered all of my questions in a timely, professional manner. I understand that Justin has only 4 months experience in auto sales, which is surprising. He is very knowledgeable of the Acura product, honest in dealing with the buyer, & his personality is infectious. My prediction is that Justin will have much continued success in this line of work. Also, Matt Oravetz, the business manager, completed my paperwork in a timely manner. I was impressed with his speed, yet accuracy. Matt is very conscientious & seems to really enjoy his job. Because Acura Motors cares so much about customer satisfaction, David McDavid Acura is lucky to have Justin Eddy & Matt Oravetz on their team. More
Best Car buying Experience Ever I visited the dealership to see the TLX, MDX and primarily the RDX. Within a few moments Brett Murack approached me and asked if I wanted assistance o I visited the dealership to see the TLX, MDX and primarily the RDX. Within a few moments Brett Murack approached me and asked if I wanted assistance or had questions - NOT the typical car salesman approach. I found this very professional, courteous, and it took the "curse" off the visit. Brett spent 2.5 to 3.0 hours with me and answered all my questions about all of the vehicles - though the TLX rose quickly to the number one choice. I left the dealership with the promise that I would be back when I was ready. Well... ready came very quickly. I couldn't stop thinking about the TLX though I had purposely NOT test driven the car (I knew that would seal the deal). Didn't matter. I called the next morning and Brett came in early so I could drive the car. Again he spent several hours with me HELPING me decide which of their available TLX Advanced Package cars was the one for me. Brett and Ankur made me a very fair offer and I bought my TLX that day , The next pleasant surprise was working with Matt Oravetz - my business manager. He found me the best possible financing and advised me on the best terms for my particular buying situation. Just another absolutely pleasant and stressless experience. My beautiful Pearl White Advanced Package TLX was ready the next day and Brett spent another two hours explaining all of the features of the car and helping me set many of them up. When was the last time you got that kind of attention to the details after the deal was done? Finally, while I was at the dealership both days I was introduced to many of the folks at the dealership and Brett took me over to the Service Department so I could meet those folks and know who I would be dealing with when my car needs maintenance. I cannot not stress enough what a great experience the personnel at David McDavid Acura made of my new car purchase. This is a luxury car facility with nothing but the most professional people I have ever encountered in the automobile business. I rate them a five stars across the board only because six isn't available!!!! More
