We must have seen 10-12 different staff members during our two visits there and each was courteous, attentive, yet not overbearing. The lease mgr who worked with us, Arthur Dee, was fabulous. I cannot remember having a better experience in buying or leasing a car. Arthur has earned our business long-term moving forward. Nor can we recommend enough to those we know that this dealership will change your view of the car business. More

Finally it came down to Vandergriff and David McDavid for the Acura. I knew which car I wanted but the night and day difference developed as I dealt with the respective employees of both dealerships. Vandergriff employees from the salesman, the new car manager, the sales manager and finally the general manager made promises they didn't keep. I will never deal with Vandergriff again. The employees at David McDavid delivered on every promise! They found the loaded 2015 MDX I was looking for in the exact color combo and packages. They also installed $5000 additional accessories at the purchase in a very short time. These two dealerships are opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to customer satisfaction. David McDavid delivered on every promise and beat every comparable price for the same car in the entire state of Texas. It's no wonder they have won all the awards and accolades they have; the employees at David McDavid Acura in Plano make it the best car buying experience! More

HOWEVER, those days are LONG gone. Harsh Patel confirmed they are Car Sales Specialists and no longer the stereotype that we've felt or thought at one point in time. I visited other Acura dealerships prior to David McDavid, however, they were in it for themselves NOT remotely interested in what my needs were, only theirs. I felt defeated and thought "all car sales people are the same" UNTIL..... Harsh called to follow up of an online inquiry I submitted and was pleasantly surprised. His approach is of a consultative approach uncovering my needs.
