We went inside and asked for help and we were told all their salesmen were all in a sales meeting-obviously this dealership did not care to sell us a car. So we went to Goodson Accura and bought one. It was my lucky day as I was transferred to AMIR HAZRATI! He listen to my situation. That right there told me a lot, he was the 1 I was going to deal with. He responded immediately via emails w/suggested vehicles!!! I was VERY impressed with him, even thou we had not met yet. New Years Eve, I called him & was ready to test drive a couple of cars we spoke about. Finally meeting him, his personality fit him perfectly, honesty, patience, willingness, no pressure what so ever, (Ladies, very attractive too). They treat you fair and will make you a fair deal. Let's not forget the service folks. They are key and another reasons I return to this dealership. Let's not forget Acura's are great vehicles, I have never had a major mechanical issue, in fact I have never had a mechanical issue, just maintenance, oil changes, wipers (which are free), and tires (which are not free). In both the sales and service departments I have dealt with some of the same folks for over 14 years, take some time to learn about them they are real people. And they will be there the next time you come back. More

A couple weeks ago, my wife laid down the law and asked that I get our oldest child a car - he's had his license for 6 months which means that he's been driving (if you include the time with a "permit") for a year and a half. I knew what I wanted for him vehicle-wise, did an internet search, and found a vehicle that fit what I wanted in Plano, TX (i.e. about an 11 hour drive from where we live). I called the dealership that my internet search pulled up (David McDavid Acura of Plano) and spoke with Mr. Kelvin Bryant in the dealership's used car department. I should interject, at this point, that I generally disdain the whole car buying experience. In the process of answering my questions, however, I instantly found myself trusting Mr. Bryant (a rarity for me when it comes to dealing with car dealerships and car salesmen). Also, the cost of the vehicle, though used, was substantial and going to get it would involve flying myself and my son to Dallas (one-way). Yet, my telephone interactions with Mr. Bryant were very straightforward and oddly (at least for me) very reassuring, so I purchased the vehicle "sight unseen" (if you disclude the jpegs on the internet that I, of course, had seen). When we arrived in Dallas / Plano the following weekend to get the vehicle, my interactions with Mr. Bryant only reinforced what I'd sensed regarding his straightforwardness and genuineness in our phone conversations. The vehicle was as described (including a few small wear-related issues that he had fully disclosed beforehand), some minor work that he had done on the vehicle looked great, and he had even put new tires and a bow on the car for my teenage son. It turns out that Mr. Bryant is apparently the "pre-owned sales manager", and he subsequently introduced me to one of his associates, Mr. Amir Hazrati, who took over the rest of the transaction. Mr. Hazrati was also great to deal with and refreshingly un-salesman-like. He walked me through the obligatory paperwork that car buying entails, and we left very happy with the entire experience - not only had I succeeded in surprising my son, but I'd really surprised myself by purchasing a vehicle off the internet and having it go so smoothly. This wasn't my first car buying experience, but it would definitely qualify as one of the best, most straightforward car buying experiences that I've ever had - I highly recommend dealing with Mr. Kelvin Bryant and Mr. Amir Hazrati at David McDavid Acura of Plano. All I can say is Drew makes it easier and easier to go through the process. This car was for my wife. When she went for the test drive Drew put her in the car that she wanted to buy. Drew knew what we wanted and delivered on all fronts. It is the same with their service department. Every experience just gets better. This is a great team! More

The practice of making a claim over the phone to get a customer in the shop and then changing the terms discussed on the phone is deceptive. More

I chose a vehicle that I wanted and told him what I was willing to spend. He took care of all my needs and wants right over the phone. All we had to do is go in on our lunch hour to sign and pick up vehicle! That simple! I will be using Acura Plano forever as long as they keep up this type of service!! Thank you! More
