Fast, no hassle, and honesty. A rare experience today! As someone who lives in a smaller town in West Texas I often have to travel to find what I'm looking for. I had a run of bad luck with some other dealerships in the DFW area resulting in a wasted 8 hour round trip the previous weekend when searching for this purchase. It was the first time ever I walked away from two deals in the same day and I feel like they treated me like I was born yesterday since I came from out of town, perhaps they were surprised I would go home empty handed. That certainly was not the case though, I'm very upfront and if you try to deceive me for even 5 bucks I'll walk away from good deal on principle. I even told those other guys that at the beginning and I guess they didn't listen. Anyway, enough about the bad and now to what this review is about. I immediately went back to the drawing board on the sedan I was looking for and began looking at V6 TLXs, preferably CPOs. That's what led me to David McDavid Acura and Tim Sechrest and I wish I would have started with them and saved myself the time and aggravation from dealing with the other dishonest people! Tim was straightforward and forthcoming about everything from day 1---he even discussed some of my wife's concerns in great detail with her as she can be the worrying type. We worked the deal by phone and he held the car we wanted until we get there on a Saturday and I felt 100% confident doing so from the very get-go due to Tim's no-nonsense and low pressure approach. This is important to me when I commit to a full day's round trip travel to purchase a vehicle When I arrived the car was 100% as represented and there was no back-and-forth at the financing side, no attempt to tack on a bunch of overpriced add-ons, no hidden fees or costs, just 100% good business practices from people who treat you like a valued customer and not a mark that just walked into the carnival that they need to bilk for every last cent. It was a rare experience in this day and age and I greatly appreciated it. I will be sure to recommend Tim and David McDavid to anyone whenever I can! Thanks again Tim. More

I had an excellent and bad experience at the same time. I went to the dealership on a Saturday and I receive an excellent experience from every single person who approached me a soon as I walk in. I went there just basically to have a look in-person to a particular brand new vehicle, I was helped by an awesome individual who answered all of my questions and in fact, he motivates me to go ahead and test drive the same exact vehicle I was looking to get but in a different color combo. I was definitely so excited after that, but then the only issue I had was that I was looking for another color combo that was not available there. I provide all the details of the exact car, color combo, etc I really wanted (including the dealerships around the area who have it in stock). The individual who was really kind helping me told me that their "Internal System" was down so he couldn't contact any other partner dealership to be able to check and get that car for me. I leave my contact information and everything and they told me that once the "Internal System" gets back "Online" they will reach out to me which never happen, it's been more than two weeks for sure and I never hear back from them, which I was surprised on how could that be even possible, especially that I was looking to buy a brand new vehicle that cost over $45K+. As the title of this review states "I had an excellent and bad experience at the same time". More

I BOUGTH SERVICES AND MAINTENENCE WARRANTY WHEN I BUY THE CAR FROM THEM AND EVERY TIME I GO FOR SERVICES I BEEN CHARGE THEY SAID THEY DIDNT KNOW THAT I HAVE PURCHASE THAT SERVICE APARENTLY I HAVE TO SHOW THE CAR FROM THEM AND EVERY TIME I GO FOR SERVICES I BEEN CHARGE THEY SAID THEY DIDNT KNOW THAT I HAVE PURCHASE THAT SERVICE APARENTLY I HAVE TO SHOW THEM MY PAPER WORK EVERY TIME THAT I GO THERE.
