He will try to undercut you on your trade in, not uphold any specials the dealer is running, lie about the price, and won't negotiate. If you decide to purchase from him, please pay attention to the numbers. I recently inquired about an Acura MDX they had at their dealership. Once I contacted I was sent a random email from their dealership with a promotional offer stating if I purchased a vehicle with them through the end of the month I get a $1000 credit towards my trade in. Tim Sechrest contacted me back. We went through the normal spew where I gave him all the information about my trade in including pics, etc. he comes back with an offer around $2000 short of what the vehicle is worth and what I've been previously offered at multiple dealerships in the same market. So I asked if that's the best you can do on the trade in can you come down on the price of the vehicle as it was listed a little higher than comparable vehicles in his market? At that time I also asked about the $1000 credit they sent me in the email to hopefully make up some of the difference. Here's where he gets shady. He tells me he can't come down on the price or honor the $1000 credit because he already lowered the price of the vehicle by $800? Now this particular vehicle had been on Car Gurus for a month already with no price changes. Also the price on their website reflected the price on Car Gurus. So he hadn't lowered the price at all. Lies. So I said ok well if you lowered the price by $800, even though it's not listed anywhere, then thats still not $1000 You promo offer states. As if that the case you should technically technically give the promo offer of $1000 on top of that $800 deduction that magically appeared from no where. At that point he had already lost my business. I just stopped communicating with him and he has only sent me generated emails asking if I've found an MDX yet. If you believe any reviews let it be this one on ole Tim Sechrest. I'm not sure every sales man at that dealer is like him, but he says he's been there a long time. Which should tell you a lot about the dealerships practices. Just please watch yourself and the numbers with him. More

Wonderful experience with my used car purchase This was one of the easiest car purchases ever. I had looked for a vehicle for at least 3 months using everything from CarMax(overpriced but no haggle This was one of the easiest car purchases ever. I had looked for a vehicle for at least 3 months using everything from CarMax(overpriced but no haggle) to CarGuru's. I saw the car I wanted listed online and the price had actually dropped when I went in to see it. We decided on the purchase that night but because it was late we asked our salesperson Tim to hold the car overnight and allow us to complete the paperwork the next day. He was both kind and accommodating. The next day I was suddenly hospitalized and when my husband called to say we wouldn't be in for another day they were extremely empathetic and kind. When we came in over the weekend to finalize the purchase Tim had the car ready and thoughtfully inquired as to my health after my ordeal. Jeff, in the finance department, was so helpful in completing the transaction and kind when we ran into an issue with the check from our bank. Jeff is not only great at his job, but an all around great guy! We were treated so well here and I can't speak highly enough of these guys. More
