Bad at the service department, but great at the sales. I brought my 2007 TSX in for some preventative maintenance and spent $1300.00 on it. I came back in the next day to receive my TSX, and as I left the I brought my 2007 TSX in for some preventative maintenance and spent $1300.00 on it. I came back in the next day to receive my TSX, and as I left the service department the AC was broken (AC was fine when I drove in). They recharged the AC (3 hours later)and it was fine. I picked up my car and everything seemed fine (like when I brought it in the day before) I left and got about 30 minutes into Dallas and my check charge light came on. As I was bringing it back to the service department every warning light was going off, my transmission was jumping into neutral (as I was driving on the interstate), but made it back before they closed. They said they would look at it. I came back the next day and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. I was done with trying to fix my car with their service department, so I decided to just buy a certified used car instead. (cut my losses of $1300) So I traded in my car that was apparently "fine". I am currently satisfied with my used car, but I am still upset the service department messed up my original car until I had no confidence in workmanship of the service department to ease my mind of having a dependable vehicle. The sales department was great and of course their customer service is outstanding. I'm just upset I'm out $1300 of maintenance that went to my trade in. I pray that if I have an issue with my certified used car that David McDavid Acura's service department will be good enough to fix the problem before I have to pay for unneeded work. More

This is my 4th Acura I picked up my 4th Acura today and the 3rd from David McDavid Acura Plano.
