Fantastic Salesman/Tim Sechrest I recently found myself in a situation where I needed a second car and since I already use McDavid Acura for service on my Acura ILX, I immediately de I recently found myself in a situation where I needed a second car and since I already use McDavid Acura for service on my Acura ILX, I immediately decided to visit them for my used car needs. When I called the dealership after finding a car I was interested in on their website in the listed pre-owned inventory, I spoke with Tim. He was very friendly and had helpful information about the car and we made arrangements to meet that day. When I arrived, the car had already been set up for my test drive and after some easy negotiating and a cash purchase, I left the dealership with a "new to me" BMX X3 that I absolutely love. I worked with Giles and Dennis to handle my ownership paperwork and to prepare for the title to be generated and sent to me and they were also very pleasant. Their GM is awesome as well and I can't say enough good things about DMCD. I have purchased from one of their Houston locations and I was pleased to find that their North Texas locations are just as fabulous. Poor Service - Went in due to an unusual noise coming from engine of my 2015 TLX w 60k miles. Service consultant indicated it sounded like timing belt. The next day Went in due to an unusual noise coming from engine of my 2015 TLX w 60k miles. Service consultant indicated it sounded like timing belt. The next day they called & said it was the tensioner - covered by warranty - but recommended I change out timing belt while they were in there - $800 to me. The amt sounded close to full price of timing belt work so I said no. When I picked up the car, they told me it wasn’t the tensioner, but it was fixed now - xxx?. Confused, I opened the hood to look and the hood shock no longer worked. When I asked them to fix it - they agreed it worked when I dropped it off - they told me “it just happens” sometimes and it was not their fault and refused. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told he would call me after his lunch. I’m still waiting on his call.... More

The first contact with made with the dealership when the vehicle appeared online was decent, and not swindling us in any way. That's how we met Tim. Tim Sechrest was just amazing to work with. He understood that we were a young family on a budget, and didn't push us to look at other vehicles unless we were interested. He was accommodating to our work schedules to go on a test drive, and thoroughly knew the history and ins and outs of the CR-V. (Please note that is was a far cry from our last car buying experience, where the sales folks knew nothing about the vehicles, and also tried to sell us a vehicle that had previously been in a flood.) Tim is genuine, and honest with folks. He made this process so simple for us. He even asked the shop to patch a small scratch on the hatch door for us, and we know that most folks won't have even bothered with that. For our next vehicle, we will definitely be contacting Tim. Please know that he is a valuable asset to your team. Thanks for reading this review. More
