I contacted David McDavid (Plano) via the internet and found the car we were looking for. The internet transactions were better than any other dealer I had been working with. What was impressive is Mark called me within an hour of the first internet inquiry. It was nice to talk to someone who could answer questions. I received a quote within 2 hours of the initial contact which was better than any other price I had received from 3 other dealers closer to San Antonio. MArk continued to follow up with me to make sure I understood all the information. After flying to Dallas to get the car, our personal experience with Mark and the dealership continued to be excellent. We were greeted at the airport by a very professional young man who drove us back to the dealership (about 20 min drive). Our new car was ready to go and Mark had all paperwork ready for review. There was never a feeling of pressure, yet Mark was very sensitive to our travel needs and really had things taken care of quickly. We were driving back home in less than 3 hours of landing in Dallas. I only wish they were closer to San Antonio. Highly recommend using them for your next car! More

The salesman who helped me, Tim the Internet Manager, never made me feel like I had to get the car from them. It was an incredibly low pressure experience. I was very pleased with their finance manager, Robert, as well. He was really personable and made spending 12,000+ less stressful. The only thing I can really say that I wasn't 100% happy with was the detailing of the car. There was quite a bit of debris in the corners of the door that my wife noticed when we got home. Not a huge deal at all and really has no reflection on the people that I came in contact with directly. Will that said, I was extremely pleased with the service, attention, and respect I was given. I will definately be going back when I'm in the market to get my next car! More

I had an excellent, peaceful experience. Flew in from Houston to purchase vehicle and was even provided transportation. I was very surprised when the finance department even beat my interest rate from my Houston to purchase vehicle and was even provided transportation. I was very surprised when the finance department even beat my interest rate from my local credit union. They allowed me to do most negotiations via email/phone and that was great. I also noticed its not a huge dealership so there are not a lot of people standing around trying to locate keys to cars. Very easy, peaceful car buying experience. I had been servicing my Honda Accord at this dealership for many years. I ended up leasing an Acura 2011 MDX earlier this year. Mark went over the entire cars features and controls with me and even programmed my iPhone to the car. I would highly recommend this dealership to all of my friends and family. Carl, my service advisor, makes coming in for routine maintenance extremely easy and fast! More
This is my 2nd Acura purchased from David McDavid - I was confident as a past sales customer that the same positive experience I had in 2005 would carry over into my purchase in 2011. I was pleasently surprised that even after several years the same positive experience then was experienced again in 2011. The sales team worked together as a whole to make sure I was comfortable with my purchase and assured me that they would continue to support me and maintain my satisfaction long after the sales deal was closed. The service department remains top notch and committed to address any issues brought to their table if needed. Considering you basically put gas, change oil and change tires the car continues to be a maintenance free joy to drive. I have continued to recommend to my friends David McDavid and after letting them see the new 2012 TL they are most interested in upgrading their Acuras too and will be looking for David McDavid to be their home (some already bought their TL at David McDavid already). This dealership continues to be creative in customer satisfaction and continues to adapt and not be rigid as other dealerships I have experienced in my past. All the staff that assisted me, Charlie, Ankur, Murali and Chris in Finance all showed continued commitment and professionalism to ensure my satisfaction. Ankur offered to come to my house if I needed assistance in programming the Homelink to my garage. Most of the staff has 10+ years with the company which shows not only their commitment to selling great cars but a continued loyalty to their customers/clients - past present and future.. So, I'm a tough customer and I know it. In the Spring of 2010 I moved to Dallas from New York and hadn't owned cars before. I was busy--had just taken a new job, bought a house and the new wife was expecting a baby. Busy is an understatement. It goes without saying that I didn't have a lot of time to go through what I understand to be the usual hassel of acquiring a car. So, I walked into David McDavid Acura in Plano and quickly greeted by salesperson Drew and manager Charlie. You know what? These were normal straight shooting guys. I didn't get the "car salesman" feel at all. No offense. What did I do? I bought two cars that day because (1) Acura's are great cars, (2) They gave me a great deal, and (3) most of all--I trusted them. Who can usually say that about an automobile transaction? Not many people, except those who have dealt with these two salespeople. Customer service was impeccable in that they answered every question I had, even about the stitching in the leather seats. Quality of work was top notch because they got me a good product at a good price and I was happy. Friendliness--I was laughing more than I was negotiating (maybe this is that Texas charm). Price--they couldn't be beat because trust me I checked. Overall, I'll be there again when it's time for the next Acura and I hope that these folks are still around. More
