I found the car I was looking for advertised on Autotraders website that was in the price range I was willing to pay and with the options I was needing so sent them a message through Autotrader on Autotraders website that was in the price range I was willing to pay and with the options I was needing so sent them a message through Autotrader on June 16.. Ahmad reached out and explained the car was in transit and would be at the dealership in about a week but verified it indeed had the options listed on Autotrader and that the price listed after rebates was indeed the selling price. He said I could put down a $500 deposit to hold the vehicle until it arrived and I could bring my trade in and take care of paperwork when it arrived so I did. When it got down to the details he sent me the itemized paperwork of what they were ACTUALLY selling the car for which was $11,546 more than what they advertised on Autotrader PLUS $2495 for a "platinum package" (I have no idea where that came from) AND an added Uptown appearance package for $1,795 before the car even arrived. WIth those added items and the added price of the car from the advertised price on Autotrader that came to $15,836 MORE than what the car was advertised at. Not only this but when I spoke to Ahmad he said he had 2 buyers for my trade in and would give "top dollar" in trade. The trade in value he alloted was $3,000 less than the 4 other dealerships I have been in contact with in the last month or so. Small added dealer fees are one thing but this is far more than unacceptable add on fees and is 100% deceptive sales tactics and they flat out lied about the price of the car... When I went back to Autotraders website I noticed they had deleted every single add I had seen originally on June 16. I have bought a new car every 4 years since 2007 and I have NEVER had such a bad and deceptive experience with sales staff... More
I have been a customer here for almost 12 years and I was shocked at the unprofessionalism. Two months ago, my vehicle wouldn't start so, I had it looked at and the battery needed replacing, which they did, shocked at the unprofessionalism. Two months ago, my vehicle wouldn't start so, I had it looked at and the battery needed replacing, which they did, free under warranty. Two days ago it died again. We called and they said no problem here is our towing, give them our name and we will get it squared away. Towing guy gets here, says Chrysler will pay him, no worries, and takes the car. We pick up the car. There is no charge for another new battery on warranty, again. But there is a line for towing, with a PO reference. Before, I had called roadside assistance, not the dealership, but felt since the dealer had just fixed the car, maybe I should call them. I said we were not made aware we would be responsible for towing. Just the opposite. They then informed me that I should have called roadside assistance instead and made sure I had the number. They did not offer this at the time we called earlier. I pushed back more and demanded to see the PO. The PO is less than they are charging me. They make money on every tow into their lot! No wonder they didn't tell me about the charge, it was hidden and up charged. Every time something goes wrong with a fix and we call, they give this number and instant profit. I let the service director know there are laws about that. Hidden fees and false disclosures are illegal. He said have a great day, pay it. Cherry on top, I get in my car, and the vehicle informs me that I need an oil change. More
STAY AWAY ! ! STAY AWAY!! STAY AWAY!! If you can find the same vehicle elsewhere, purchase it elsewhere, unless you want to pay extra for "options" that Uptown ! STAY AWAY!! STAY AWAY!! If you can find the same vehicle elsewhere, purchase it elsewhere, unless you want to pay extra for "options" that Uptown will charge you for even after telling them numerous times that you don't want or need !!! The sales department management is terrible, especially Terry, in finance, who knowingly swindled me out of $1,200 with the help of the salesman Ahmad. I wanted the last of the 2023 Jeep Wranglers with the EcoDiesel engine. I found one at Uptown a month ago, May 2023, and made arrangements to fly from New Jersey to Dallas, TX, to retrieve it after having to get 2 sets of paperwork sent FedEX'ed over to me because they tried adding a $3500 warranty and a $200 Ikon GPS that I did not want or ask for!!!! After signing some of the paperwork to keep the process moving, considering the financing had already been set up with the lender, I picked up the Jeep and was given the last of my paperwork. They called later seeking the rest of my down payment, which I didn't mind giving, but they tried to tell my that I owed them more than what I felt they did, because they charged me for the $200 Ikon GPS thing ANYWAYS, and instead of charging me $3500 for the warranty, they charged me $1,000 for a service plan that I can NOT even utilize because it has to be serviced at their dealership to be valid !! They KNEW that I was from out of state so that service plan wouldn't even apply to me, but they charged me $1,000 for it anyways, although they didn't have any proof that I signed up for it or agreed to it at all, because I did NOT !!!!! Somehow they arranged the extra charges into the financing without me even knowing, I had begun to make regular vehicle payments to the lender already, NOT knowing the dealership slipped $1,200 in extra "options" that I was told aren't really options. These extra "options" were NOT advertised in the sale price on their website either. In fact, it was advertised with a $4,500 dealership discount off the MSRP, plus a $1,500 manufacturer rebate. I did get the $1,500 rebate, but was told that I didn't qualify for the additional $4,500 dealership discount, that it was for fire fighters, veterans, etc. I was OK with paying MSRP for the Jeep because it was what I was looking for, but I am NOT ok with paying $1,200 in extra "options" that I can NOT even utilize because I'm not local !!!!!!!! PLEASE STAY AWAY from doing business with this dealership if at all possible, otherwise you may get scammed and overcharged as well.. I did make an official complaint via Jeep Wave/Stellantis Customer Support, doubt there will be a resolution, however. More

Transaction and sales process went smoothly however that is where the customer service ends. When I took ownership of the vehicle I noticed that the spare tire was padlocked and the trailer hitch was loc is where the customer service ends. When I took ownership of the vehicle I noticed that the spare tire was padlocked and the trailer hitch was locked as well. No spare key was provided. The dealership said they would contact the prior owner to obtain. I asked for a status update a week ago but never received a reply. More
The experience is pretty much what you hope you never encounter when trying to purchase through a dealership: addendums, mysterious other buyers, and lack of transparency. We had come to a car deal afte encounter when trying to purchase through a dealership: addendums, mysterious other buyers, and lack of transparency. We had come to a car deal after negotiating for hours. For them to cancel the deal. All in all, the experience was pretty terrible. More
Experience was absolutely dismal- from the inexperienced salesperson ( who completely ignored me and talked exclusively to my husband and did not know his product AT ALL. To a completely mismanaged and unre salesperson ( who completely ignored me and talked exclusively to my husband and did not know his product AT ALL. To a completely mismanaged and unresponsive delivery. But most importantly trying to get to the ownership because they KNOWINGLY had scratches on a $90k truck (gotten between the time we saw it and they loaded it up to transport) and customer service Alisha not doing anything about it. They owe us $200 that we paid to fix this. This dealership is pretty awful! More
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! !! They scam and lie to female customers to get a sale. They don't try to make their wrong rights. They have sales managers that are rude and unprofes !! They scam and lie to female customers to get a sale. They don't try to make their wrong rights. They have sales managers that are rude and unprofessional. Claim to be black owned as a selling point!Daniel, Kelci and Mr. Derric can not be trusted. The General Manager Mr. Lavar refuses to speak to me about my concerns, but sends his sales managers out to repeat what he says, at least that's what Mr. Daniel related to me. He stated "Why speak to Mr. Lavar when he is going to tell you the same thing, he told me what to say to you). This is after Mr. Daniel came to meet with me after pretending to be the General Manager!! STAY AWAY!! More
